There are excellent writers in Quora no doubt, but the moderators make it really uncomfortable.
Quora moderation acts like a critical parent. They collapse good answers sighting violation.
They blocked me from typing sighting an answer about 'Mother Teresa' violate the policy.
Mean while they found other answers with violation something or the other and I was asked to appeal. As I could not type I could not appeal. Eventually they deactivated my account.
They have sighted that I had violated the policy multiple times. I have wriiten 328 answers, in around 3 months time.

An entire thread about the Turkey, Syria, Kurds Conflict was deleted less than 24 hours after I submitted 2 questions about the history of Turkey and Syria conflicts. Also, why did the Turkish press reported only the deaths of Kurds not ISIS since ISIS was their intended target? There are Quora members from all over the world and I thought this would be a great way to learn from both sides of the conflict. That didn't work out as planned.

The second incident occurred this evening. Quora kept after me to update/improve my credentials because that would increase my readership. For education I listed that I had a BS in Accounting from Indiana State University. No problem, got the diploma and still working on the Student Loans. They deleted BS! Do the Quora Big Wigs know BS means Bachelor of Science AND Bull $#*!. When discussing your education it's clear which BS you mean. Besides, everybody knows Bull $#*! and Accounting NEVER appear in the same sentence.

Quora is a good idea and some aspects of it are fun and informative. But the Moderation is brutal, broken, arbitrary, unresponsive, misguided and nonsensical. After using the site for months, I had a good following and about 650,000 views on my content. Then one day I got edit-blocked because Quora said I had multiple accounts which was wrong. I appealed and they apologized and restored my privileges. A week later, same thing, edit-blocked for having two accounts. I wrote again an appeal and asked them what was going on. They banned me for life. No explanation, no option, just bye-bye! You can't sign into your account, can't message any of the friends you've made goodbye. It's like this weird medieval excommunication. They don't care, there is no one to write or speak to, just a form response listing the possible things that get you banned and that you must have done one of them.

Reading other reviews here, you can see that hundreds of other people have experienced the same thing.

My advice? Reddit. Or any other site because if you invest in Quora, there's a pretty good chance you'll find yourself in the same situation.

I had answered a topic question about the G7 meeting and it stated that America was the laughing stock of the world. So I copied-pasted a article from WAPO about the democrats and how they were wishing for a recession so President Trump would not be elected. I was replied back from 2 rude people. There was 1 that called me a Trump bootlicker and another that said WAPO didnt report what I copied-pasted. The deleted my comment and I appealed as not even 1 day was still rejected. I would advised everyone not to visit this site or the pleasure of commenting. Your 1st Amendment means nothing to them.

Most of Quora admins and moderators are zionists or biased towards zionists and israel.

Any question asked regarding Apartheid israel or its atrocities or genocides, or Palestinians decades of plights, most of answers that are kept on the top are deceptive pro-zionist and most answers which present opposing views to zionists, even with ample arguments, backup references, articles, videos or evidences, quora-moderators simply hide them or lock them, frequently even ban them from Quora; hence, 9-10 out of 10-12 remaining top answers are fully bias towards zionist israel; the rest answers are hidden or locked. But this situation needs to be informed everywhere...
Although Quora has good answers for those questions which have zero relevance to zionists, zionism, Palestine, or israel for that matter.

Bigotry is very high in this site. And quora is silent about it.
The moderators censor user content like answers silently, like criticizing the Government Constructively.
Most of the answers were factually incorrect and dumb.
Youtube comments are more intelligent than quora answers.
This website promotes celebrity worship.
Self promotion is very high in this site.
Many of the users like Indians post their daily life events as an important things, which gets 1k upvotes.
While I am an indian, 90% of the content written by Indian teens and Indian youth users, of this site is rubbish.
Mass upvoted and promoted opinion based answers has more value over individual intelligent and facts based answers.

Absolutely useless for any scientific or technical subject, with most answers provided by fake Indian science Phd's who can barely write in English and don't even understand how Force Vectors work. There is no way that these clowns are accredited experts in their fields, and thus I can only conclude the site is a total fraud. Likeliest reason is the site is compromised by Silicon Valley venture capitalists to enable the pushing of fake tech like Theranos, Hyperloop, etc.

If you answer anything honestly, the poor liberals all cry. Its either give answer in most bleeding heart liberal fag way possible, or suddenly its an avalanche of bored liberal housewives attacking. Its supposed to be a question and answer site, not a site for some basic $#*! to post a troll question, and then try to debate answeres. Delete it. NFG SO I had near a million views... big whoop. $#*! sites like this NEED PEOPLE TO PROVIDE CONTENT... if we leave, they tank.

The more I browse through the site the dumber I got. It's one of that new cancer on google search result. For some reason google keeps on pushing this site on search result. Go figure. Lots of idiots with highly opinionated pov who thinks they're geniuses just because other idiots on the site pump upvote into their answers. Very biased moderators, they pick and choose who to ban. Last straw for me was when I read an answer from a popular user (read: good for nothin chap irl) actually justify the site as another social media site with 'most users' (on quote) on the site prefer to spend their time reading other people's phony life stories instead of good information. Well that's when you know a site that claimed to be a source of good information is going downhill.

I posted on Quora off and on for several years. Occasionally I would find useful information and enjoy comments from others, but many of the comments there come from folks who post pointless questions like, "Why are cats cute?", or come from those who are into intellectual posturing. My biggest gripe concerned comment moderation, which I feel is biased. Here's an example. I have an interest in military history, artifacts, uniforms, music, etc., from all periods. In response to a comment left by someone else, I replied that it was totally possible to aesthetically appreciate the uniforms, medals, ceremonies, pomp, banners, and other things connected to the Third Reich, while at the same time hating Hitler and everything that he and the Nazis stood for. My comment was removed as "hate speech", which is nonsense. Some little fluff bunny mod or reader got "offended". I subsequently terminated my Quora account. Quora is a joke. It claims to foster "civil discourse", doesn't delete some comments that do violate their policies if they come from a certain socio-political perspective, and does remove comments that violate absolutely nothing. Quora and its cancelling minions at their headquarters in Cal. Can go pound sand.

Sorry for my harsh language, but this site is nothing but a steaming pile of hot $#*!. It disgusts me that sites like this exist. The moderation team deserves to be put down. Thank you
