Brunch with the bride
March 18, 2020

Very easy to use. I liked the designs. I ordered the envelopes that were lined for an upcharge. I didn't realize I would have to put the liners on myself. Other than that I was very happy with over all process.

It was so easy to use Punchbowl. I appreciated being able to see who had viewed the evite. It kept me informed as the time for the event approached. We resent the evites to those who had not responded. Would not hesitate to use this for planning next event.

Punchbowl Rocks!
April 23, 2020

I LOVE Punchbowl! It's great and I ALWAYS use it for inviting friends and family to events that I plan. I also use Punchbowl for sending cards to the people I know and love. Sending invitations and cards has never been easier. I use the app right from my phone because it's so convenient. If you don't have it, I certainly recommend getting it.

Love Punchbowl
August 12, 2020

Love using this app to send birthday invites for my kiddos. It's also great to use for thank you cards after the party to thank their friends for coming to the party. It is very easy to use and customize. A wonderful selection for any event.

A great/easy site to use to organize a party.
December 11, 2019

A great/easy site to use to organize a party. Helps you know how many to expect and to give the details of your party to your guests. Potluck feature is great for the host and guests as it lets you know who's bringing what's apps or desserts.

Punchbowl invitation
February 6, 2020

It worked beautifully... from the creation, to emailing the
Invitees, sending the reminder as well as maintaining a very
Useful list which showed who did not open the message, to
Who opened but did not respond to tracking the yes and no's.

Rip off!
April 16, 2023

I was very unimpressed that your service, advertised as FREE on google search, required payment of a subscription fee to manage RSVPs!
I was ok with paying one month, at $3.99, if required, but I was extremely UNhappy to discover that the cost of the full annual subscription of $50 had been charged! Additionally, the exchange rate was 30% to my Canadian dollar; they took over $66 out of my bank account!
I cancelled my subscription on April 3rd and I want my refund...

I like the cards on Punchbowl and use them almost monthly. BUT, imagine my surprise today when I tried to send a Christmas card that they now put ADS at the top of their cards, and will not take them off unless you buy the MOST EXPENSIVE subscription level. The ads make it look so incredibly cheap. If I want a cheap looking card I can just go to Walmart. At least their cards don't have dumb ads on them. I'm taking a hike and finding an ecard site that removes ads for any subscription. Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative?

The worst
June 18, 2024

The site just keeps trying to up-sell you on their other apps and ads. It also forces you to buy a subscription. Booooooooo.

Amazing software for events and more.
March 25, 2020

Loved the software, and provided a great way to contact
Everyone for the event, as well as cancelling the event due
To Covid-19. Punchbowl is a great little app (coming from a
System developer perspective).

Beats hand written invitations
February 7, 2020

Easy to use, plenty of designs to choose from. I like the ability to upload a picture to personalize the cards.
One critique, can't get to thank you cards unless you access it it through the thank you reminder email. You might want to check that out.

December 27, 2019

I love Punchbowl I would definitely recommend to a friend. I love how convenient and easy it is to send an invite with out the hassle of having to purchase invite cards then mail them and wait for the RSVP.

Most critical reviews already talk about how they advertising as 'FREE' and then force you to pay a misleadingly worded FULL YEAR LUMP SUM subscription of $50+ to send your card at all, more if you don't want a MCDONALDS AD playing on top of it - making them more slimy money, and surely ruining the sincerity of your now very costly Condolences.

On top of this - although it advertises on Canadian google, I was able to sign up and pay from Canada, with Canadian currency from a Canadian address - it failed to mention that most gift cards they offer apparently are ONLY valid in the US. So I just wasted money on a Christmas gift my friend can't even use, fantastic.

The volume of complaints the poor customer service employees receive must be insane...
They really should clarify their model and stop obscuring info with misleading phrasing and omitted important details.

Victoria - I'm so sorry you didn't have a good experience. Please know that you can use Punchbowl completely for free -- either through our mobile apps or when you start a free trial (just cancel anytime during the free trial period and you will not be charged). You can also cancel an active membership at any time and we have a 30-day moneyback guarantee, no questions asked. In terms of gift cards, while the majority of gift cards that we offer for purchase are redeemable in the U.S. only, there are a few brands that are redeemable in Canada. Please reach out to help@punchbowl.com if you have any questions. We're here to help! - Meghan in Marketing

Big or small event-Punchbowl is the best!
December 13, 2019

Punchbowl was fantastic for taking care of all of the "heavy lifting" when it comes to a large gathering. Such as keeping track of what everyone was bringing and allowing me to put out numbers of each type of dish needed. It was automated as far as responses to attendees-which took the pressure off of me and allowed me to work during the day and check the status of my event in the evenings. The president of the club I was hosting the event for was really impressed and couldn't believe he had never heard if Punchbowl before. Then to wrap up the event Punchbowl asked if I wanted to send thank yous to the attendees-which I usually wouldn't have time for-but since they had stylish templates and my list ready to go it took me literally two minutes to send a polished and heartfelt thanks to everyone that attended. I got responses from just about everyone! I have hosted many large events and I will not host another without using Punchbowl!

WORST APP EVER!
February 18, 2020

I have been trying to make wedding invites to send out to my guests through this app for THREE DAYS after having to become a member to do so. Every single time I get the first part of the invite filled out and hit continue the page does nothing but load for several minutes. Never gets passed that part. This app is the worst, it's a joke, scam and a waste of your time and money. I chose to send my invites this way because majority of my guests/family reside out of the state. I've never been so disgusted with an app in my life. I could have already went to the store made invites and sent them out for the time I wasted with this crap! I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYBODY. They take your money and don't stand behind what they say they do and provide. It's all BS! If I could I wouldn't give this app 1 star! PERIOD!

Birthday invitations
March 11, 2020

I used punchbowl to create birthday party invitations for my son's 6th birthday. The process was so easy and I was able to choose a dinosaur theme invitation for his party. I also loved that I could upload his picture. The customization process was very simple and you can preview the invitation before you send it out. I also liked that you could text and email the invitation because alot of times you don't have the email just a phone number so that made it so convenient. You are also able to see who viewed the invitation and it allows them to RSVP. Lastly I like that I could send a reminder a few days before the party. I will definitely use punchbowl for my invitations again.

I use Punchbowl for all of my party invitations no matter if it is for my personal use or for business. It provides the perfect invitations for all of my events-FREE! I am also able to copy over my invitee list. It is easy to use and the invites are professional looking. I can track and keep up with my guests. Plus I can resend if a guest has not responded.

Worth the money
March 11, 2020

I have always used those free evites and was hesitant to spend money to use Punchbowl but it was worth it. I personally feel the designs are nicer. And Punchbowl has a lot of features the free evites do not. For example, you can see if and when people view the invitation. This is helpful because sometimes the invitations go to spam. You can resend invites to specific guests, send reminders, allow a specific number of additional guests, send messages, allow guests to view the guest list or not, add a potluck, and much more.

I like the potluck feature, being able to copy an invitation with or without the previous design, guest list, or potluck list, and the option of inviting via email, phone, or Facebook. I use this for annual get-togethers for Thanksgiving, Easter, and an October campfire, and also for non-annual events, like graduation parties, reunions, or business presentations/trainings that include a potluck lunch.

Easy Peasy Invites!
April 23, 2020

I received a Punchbowl birthday party invitation and noticed the name of the company very small at the bottom. I wanted the convenience of sending an invitation to people without going out to the stores ESPECIALLY now during the "shelter in place order," it's convenient for anytime really though. Punchbowl is GREAT! The invitation rising from the envelope did it for me!
