Their services are about double their. The repair person is usually pissed off. Then when you try to cancel they charge you for all the "membership discounts" that you received or they won't release your card.
Anyone looking for appliance services in Middle TN should steer clear of this company. They are dramatically understaffed and the staff they do have is grossly under-qualified. Their "Service Guarantee" became fruitless after they didn't complete the initial repair correctly... first followed up with them days later (under guarantee) and after 3 MONTHS of under-qualified staff and last minute cancelled appointments and ultimately no successful repair - I gave up. Don't even get involved with them.
Came to my house and fixed my dryer but got grease and I think rust all over my carpet. Would have attached pics but I guess this site doesn't accept my phone pic files. Admitted guilt in the email, and apologized but now they are going to make me sue them to get my money for the rug back. They claim their terms and conditions do not cover the damage. Maybe not but I am sure the law does.
After booking for a 5-7 pm appointment for 3 appliances, I get a text close to 6 saying the man would be late, how late would be okay. Already annoyed, but it's hard to plan for this with work, kids and life, I said 730 pm. The guy just decided to not respond. Thanks for wasting my time, I will make sure everyone in my building knows to NOT give your company a try.
These people are very deceptive, misleading, thieves, be aware of their lies and their fake invoices, they are garbage people
Don't use their service, they will deceive you into signing a subscription without your knowledge, and when you find out they will hit you with a cancellation fees worth $85.76, make you pay monthly fees that you didn't sign for, they are very expensive, and they don't fix your problem, I had a very bad experience with them, they are thieves, unprofessional, and a garbage company
Edit 5/14: I've updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars. This is because Puls did agree that the $250+ charge for a no-parts button press on a dishwasher, and a hard sell to buy a subscription was unfair, and they refunded us so that the total charge was the initial quoted price of $89. I appreciate their efforts in investigating this with me, and getting to a resolution.

Don't even think about calling these guys. They engage in deceptive and extortionate "sales practice". Their current Director of Customer Success is open about the fact on his LinkedIn that one of his biggest accomplishments is that he, ".increased the company net contribution by launching a Direct to Consumer membership sales program." I would hardly call that an accomplishment when the revenue for that membership program was obtained by deception, and extortion.
We were quoted $89 for a call-out to look at the dishwasher. My husband then went out to get some food. In the minutes he was out, the Puls rep pressed a button on the dishwasher and said he had done a hard reset. He then told me I had to pay $250. If he had told us upfront that, "Oh it's not $89, it's actually $250" I would have told him, "no thank you."
He then said we should just pay for a subscription to Puls (where you can have them visit you for various repairs for a year). My husband had already told him no. I told him no again. He said well we still had to pay the $250 anyway. This was an obvious dodgy sales practice to try to turn a $89 service into an annual membership fee - a real bait and switch. He was a 6'0+ guy who would not leave my house, I am a 5'0 woman and when I pressed him on why we had to pay, he kept repeating the same talk track, "You're just better off paying the $250. It's just better for you. You get all this for a year." He did not even seem to listen to me.
It appears from other reviews that this is Puls' business model - to push people to sign up for their $250+ annual service, which we did not ask for and repeatedly said no to. It astounds me that companies like this are still in business - should have been hauled in to a court for deceptive business practices and extortion.
Avoid.
Had an emergency on my Samsung refrigerator that stopped working after Duke outage, the company send Richard at same day. Excellent job, fast, customer service. 5 stars. Got faster service than Samsung offered.
I scheduled someone to come fix my washer not realizing I was getting involved with professional scam artists. In order to pay you have to select that you want to be enrolled in their scam. Of course there is no way to cancel on their site, so I sent an email asking how do I cancel. I got an email back asking "Cancel what?" Their business meetings must involve things like "How can we force 'customers' to stay with us?" I finally got an email with a link to cancel and it said if my services equal more than I paid, then when I cancel I will be billed the remainder. Since I paid in full for the washer repair, I didn't think there would be a problem. They charged me an additional $55. FOR WHAT?! Stay away from these hucksters.
The tech showed up for a refrigerator cooling issue. He stated it needed a part so he would come back the next morning at 10:00 am. He showed up at 7;00 pm after several calls. He installed the part and said to let it run for 24 hours and it should be
Fine. The unit hasn't cooled at all. I paid them $113.00 for nothing.
I engaged them to wall mount my tv. Technician said there will be extra charge as the wires need to go through conduit. I agreed to. Then the company used this extra payment as Monthly payment plan.
They kept charging me monthly. I am taking this with the appropriate authorities. AVOID them pay them cash and don't share any information or credit cards. SCAMMER's...
They will charge you an arm and a leg. Don't do it. My dryer only had lint in it. It wasn't even broken. The technician added a bunch of bull$#*! add-one to the bill. He never even gave me a quote before proceeding.
Charged me $600 for a repair that told me was going to take hours of work and be very labor-intensive so I agreed. When the technician arrived on site, it took him three minutes to pop the part in. Additionally, the part he ordered was double the cost of the market value. I complained to managers, and they did nothing to reimburse me. Do not use the service. Insanely overpriced! And the technician was rude and combative.
The person they sent to my house, Kamal, I thought was very nice and helpful. Until later, when looking over the work that he did after he left, I noticed that he never changed the circuitboard like he said that I needed. I don't even know what made me take the back off and look. I almost wish I didn't. The one in my refrigerator and the one that he showed me were totally different. I mean basically he ripped me off. I feel horrible! Don't they run a check on these people or something? I'm sure that there's nothing that can be done. All I know is I wish I had never called them. They are already making it very difficult to lodge a complaint.
This company is a complete scam. Please don't use them. They're like Uber or Lyft for contractors. So you don't know whose coming into your home. I had a tech come out to repair my refrigerator. It was great at first. The tech informed that my compressor needed to be replaced and he would be back in a week. Long story short the tech stood me up four times no call no show
I reached out to puls for anfull refund. I'm not holding my breathe. They have been just as horrible and have poor customer service.
It's reason you can't leave a comment on their social media.
After 3 reschedules on Puls part and finally the fourth being a stand-up and then deciding to read reviews, I'm glad they didn't show. Don't waste your time with this company. I can't believe this company is still in business.
The tech that came over did my repairs, but had never worked on a Bosch refrigerator before, so it took him some time to get a icemaker installed. I have no issue with the tech! The company however is annoying and expensive! They sent out over twenty texts and emails. Multiple calls and everyone was trying to get you to buy their service warranties/contracts. Even watch your online payment links, they try to get you to pay for a subscription by placing that option first! Never got an itemized receipt ewither, i would love to know the part number I was sold, but nope, not listed! I should have done this myself and will next time!
Stay away from this company. The washer technician came and spent the entire time watching YouTube videos! We're not paying you guys to come and watch online repair videos and just waste time and water without doing anything meaningful. The technician didn't even open anything (I doubt if he was equipped with all the tools) as he was engrossed in the video tutorial. Left saying there's NO problem. Then why the hell are you charging the money as there's a problem but you couldn't diagnose it. The call center girl left a message that if the issue still persists, make another repair appointment. Really? What made you think the problem would have gone away magically? Just a sham company!
About $500 and two weeks wasted to figure out our refrigerator tech did not know what he was doing. A very long story, but to summarize, he did not show up several times when promised and was late when he did show up. He replaced parts that did not need replacing and had us find an obsolete part (we found out of state) to bring in that also was not needed. Complete waste of time and money. I would never use them again.
If you get assigned a dependable technician you may have a better experience. Wasted two days waiting for a washer repair person that never made it during the window they said. Last day of waiting the person called over an hour after the repair window had passed with another excuse on why he was not there yet. Go with a neighbor's recommendation, not this organization. No customer support with being put on hold for prolonged periods and lack of understanding that a different technician is needed if they are canceling appointments. Overall, a waste of time.
I paid Puls over $300 to repair my appliance. 5 minutes after the repairman, Ken left, the appliance was still not working. I called to let them know what had happened. No response. I had to call back a second day and was told my case had to be turned over to another department. When I insisted that my someone come out to fix my appliance, I was told I would get an email which moved me into another day of inconvenience. Not a reliable without any concern for the customer. Bypass this company if it's service you are looking for with technicians that know what they are doing and clerical staff that do more than waste your time and your money
