PSI has a great reputation, and signing up was easy and fast.
Have taken the mechanical contractor test twice now. Failed both times by one question. Bulletin and results show 120 questions. Actual test is 130 questions. Being cheated out of 10 answers and get no answers from psi. They will be exposed for purposely failing test takers.

This is the worst company for the State of New York to rely on to administer tests. Proctored testers don't show up on test day; company has ineffective customer service; customer service literally leaves you on hold for an hour; one pays and schedules but they send the money back after floating it for a week; they don't honor agreements; every single time slot is allegedly booked even if you go out 1 month; website is flawed...PSI IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND THE NEW YORK BANKING AND INSURANCE DEPARTMENT SHOULD REVOKE ANY CONTRACTS THEY HAVE WITH THEM FOR THE SAKE OF ITS RESIDENTS!

After taking the exam it showed me what I needed to work on and what was wrong. I do appreciate that
I don't understand why PSI change their exam interface. Every time I need to change an answer I need to go back and hit the edit button. And new system doesn't let me to proceed when I leave a question blank. Basically it takes more time just for marking the questions which is waste of time for an exam that has a time limit. I really wonder WHY PSI change its exam interface? Who demand it? What is the purpose? The previous one was very useful and time saving.

I've spent hours on hold unable to get in touch with anyone competent enough to solve minor issues. They must have one person working for my entire region on the customer service line and it's like trying to communicate with someone who doesn't understand general language. I just received a response from an email I sent 6 weeks prior. I've waited on hold for periods lasting over an hour to have calls dropped, issues unresolved, and empty claims of solving problems. This company is literally delaying my career. Negative stars
Their customer service is absolutely the worst I've ever seen in years. Most of their staff do not speak proper English and no available supervisor on the floor. I have spent 4 days on the phone trying to reschedule my exam or getting a refund. Still no resolution. Beware, and ask for email confirmation to record a call. Be prepared for legal actions with them. It's unbelievably frustrating.

I waited over an hour on hold then the line disconnected. They give no straight extension to tech support. You'll have to call then be transferred at least 4 times (giving them your info each time) before finally getting where you need to be. The service isn't good. They don't communicate with you or understand your issues, they just say "I don't know what you are saying" when asked questions about their service. Overall 0/10 I've been dealing with them since 11 this morning it's currently 11 at night.

It took three hours of trouble shooting with their team to get the exam to even launch. When it finally launched, the proctor screamed at me in the chat nonstop for the first 20 minutes. Any movement I made prompted them to admonish me. I was already nervous for this notoriously difficult exam, which I failed by two questions. It's extremely distracting to be sorting through complex scenarios in my head only to have the chat box pop up over and over again for slightly moving my lips as I read to myself or for touching my face. Companies who contract with PSI should seek out any competitors to avoid subjecting people to this terrible experience.

1. Tried to take Mass. R. E exam at home only to get disconnected after an hour. CS was non existent.
2. Rescheduled for exam at a site location. However after I passed the national portion of the test it did not move to the Mass portion. Turns out they failed to schedule both!
3. Its been a month and half and I cannot get a straight answer from PSI. 10 (yes 10)customer service agents, 4 supervisors, countless hours on hold and being disconnected, they are still unable to schedule me for the Mass exam! Find another career and save yourself the aggravation! Mass Real Estate Board has also been non responsive. Useless State hacks!

Horrible! I've been studying for days to be prepared to take my (scheduled and paid for) remote real estate exam. Received confirmation emails, ran the system required test with no issues, when it came time to login the link that they gave me failed. Called and spoke to customer service asking for a new link. They said that's not possible. The first rep hung up on me! This company is a joke. I wish I could go somewhere else. Will update next week when I can hopefully take the test.

Psi exams are rigged. 90% of the questions and answers are misleading and not even common knowledge required. I have been doing electrical work for over 20 years and am one of the highest rated, and respected electrical contractors in the area. I missed the exam by 1 point last time, and now I miss it by 20? This exam is designed to set people up for failure and it is an abhorrent disgrace to professional licensing. PSI should be dissolved for its lack of moral aptitude. The tests get even more ridiculous, harder, and completely pointless each year. The only thing holding me back is this $#*! "exam" full of useless information that isn't even applied in the real world.

I'm in the midst of a family emergency and emailed them two days ago, yesterday, today and have called three times. No response. I emailed in time to reschedule but am now going to probably be told it's too late even though I reached out in time. Awful customer service. I was on hold for 32 minutes and a recorded message told me "we can't help you try online" which I've already done. Then it hung up on me and now I'm on hold again for over ten minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Wish I could have chosen to take my certification elsewhere.
The exam itself was a reasonably good experience though everything else has been horrific. Take a look at their website and you'll get an idea of how the company is run - it's atrocious. The website looks like it hasn't been update since 2008. But, aside from aesthetics, I took my exam a week ago and still don't have my scores. I've emailed twice and called twice and I still don't have them. On my second call I waited on hold for 1.5 hours and no one ever picked up. I could understand this if we were in the early days of the pandemic but it's now March of 2021.

Answer: Complete and total scam! Run for your life do not use this company under any circumstances you will not get your certificate or license or whatever you're coming here for! They've taken my money twice and I still have nothing to show for it they've lost my test, a digital test that was watched by video for 2 hours by someone. Please tell me how that happens, now I'm at risk of losing my job because I can't get my license. This place literally is about to ruin my life. Go anywhere but here.
