PSI Exam tool failed and support line failed
April 5, 2022

During my exam I had four choices that were too long for the screen to show. But the PSI Exam tool did not have scrollbars, so I could not reach the "answer" button at the bottom. I had pressed the first answer so I could not move to the next question either - the "next question" buttoned was ghosted as soon as I had clicked the first answer option. The proctor had no solution. He told me to cal the support line, was put on hold for 25 minutes and then got someone on the line who's headset malfunctioned. He couldn't hear me. So he hung up afte 1.5 minutes, apologizing for his broken headset and told me to have a good day. By then I had figured out I could reload the screen with CTRL+R and could move on to the next question, but all in all I had lost over 30 minutes of exam time. And at the end, by working with the TAB key I could answer the long-answer-options-question. Quite a stressful exam, but I passed.

After signing up, I received multiple emails proposing to show how to access my exam, however, on exam day I watched all videos and did not provide me with info on where to go to login. The link they do send does not take you to a login page. I searched on their site many other ways for a login and could not find one. When I called their support line before my exam, I received a notice that the line was closed on Sundays (when my exam was). I sent an email explaining all this to the support email, with no response in 48 hours. When I called the support line, the agent argued that the process to login was "simple", navigating me through 5 pages away from the link to get to a login page. When you do click the link, you have to scroll down to even see that the page has changed so you can login. They also denied the support line being down, saying they are 24/7 (even if they were, there could have been an IT glitch etc.). They refused to refund my money or reschedule my exam, accusing me of not having done my research before hand (I read all emails and support videos) or trying to login for my exam multiple days beforehand and subsequently calling them for help. Awful service all around.

CPT EXAM

The proctors for the exams are in no way helpful. After completing most of my exam, I was disconnected from the application. When I was back up and running, the proctor would not let me continue with my exam because "I wasn't the same person, and I needed to be in a different area", as I had not moved spots or changed my appearance in any way. It took me from 10AM-4PM to finally submit my test that was only supposed to take 2 hours AT MOST.

WORST SERVICE EVER
February 20, 2024

Please save your money and NEVER use this service if possible. The website is utterly awful. When searching for an Indiana real estate exam (broker) NOTHING appears more than 80% of the time. You have to do a scavenger hunt throughout the internet to find a link that will take you to the booking if you can EVEN manage to do that. If the exam does appear their LACK of quality editing and care for consumers shows immensely because underneath the exam name (Indiana Licensure Exam) it has the category Baber and Cosemetology.

Additionally, I scheduled an exam and the website said that my test had been booked. I showed up at the testing site and guess what... there was no exam waiting there for me to take. The test proctor added that this happened to multiple other people on the same day who received confirmation codes.

THIS SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS!

Just terminated the exam in the middle, without any explanation. Tried to reconned, no success. Called support zero help. Support transferred to the Candidates department with zero help again. They are investigating the exam has gone. NEVER DO EXAMS WITH PSI.

Fraud
September 21, 2023

I went to the exam center to take my test and they told me I had to reschedule with PSI because something wasn't working with the computers. PSI NEVER REFUNDS me. I have called several times. $225 dollars for an exam isn't cheap. I will not be paying them again to take another exam I would never recommend their services.

Hard to find books I need. Representative for PSI said I need to go back to my local state residential builders commission for the correct books, in which the scrbc said I need to go back to PSI? Why is this so difficult?

Bad experience!

I scheduled my Microsoft certification exam with discount available and it has to go with PSI instead of Pearson. With all the efforts in preparing my room for an exam environment, it took me 45mins to got admitted to start the exam after serval attempts to launch the exam via PSI secure browser. Then after answering all the survey questions, in the midst of the exam I got a popup "the proctor doesn't have secure connection" and then I got kicked out after 30mins into the exam! I live chat with the exam proctor, didn't get any response. Being set on an exam environment, I cannot confirm if there was any internet disconnection happened for only a split second but unlikely as my internet was working fine when I tried to re-launch the browser after it closed automatically.
For me, it was a bad experience for exam but still an experience at low cost because of the discounted exam price. Now I need to try schedule my exam again with a Peason.

Not good

So I got the esthetician study guide, I paid 27$ for it. It took me a week to just even get the study guide because it wouldn't let me login. I called and would email many times. I finally was able to login and it was only 25 questions. How is 25 questions going to help with a 110 question stateboard.

A new account on psi.gmetrix.net must be created in order to access your practice test in GMetrix. Hiset taker beware,

Absolutely horrible, Absolutely frustrating, after taking the test back in November "reading exam" I still haven't received my results. I contacted PSI/Hiset multiple times about this situation. There customer support line is an absolute waste of time. Long holds with no help SAME AWNSER let me escalate the problem I have escalated this on going issue multiple times with no reply, after just under 3 months hoping to have these results I truly believe this is a scam. After talking to someone today they said this is an on going issue she said it like it was supposed to make me feel better. I believe they send your calls to a 3rd party an they can absolutely care less about your situation. Save yourself the frustration an further yourself with another testgiver

I had to take two exams through PSI and a month later I am still at the mercy of their company trying to schedule one of them. I was able to schedule my first insurance exam with no issues. The second exam I attempted to schedule, I had an issue connecting with my proctor and it caused the appointment to get locked into their system without me being able to access it. Now, I can't schedule a new appointment EVEN by paying again and getting nothing out of my previous appointment. Have been calling their company non-stop for a month and no solution is in sight. I could care less about my $40. The fact that this company is personally holding me back from resuming the duties of my job is such a joke. They have no issue telling you something just to get you to hang up and the issue will always be resolved in "3-5 business days". It is truly laughable how unprofessional this company is and if I wasn't in the middle of being screwed by them I'd laugh a little more myself. Thanks for everything PSI! :)
