I was looking for the Deed of my parents property and I sent an email requesting a copy on a Saturday evening. I expected to receive someone Monday. Yo my surprise, I received an email back within 5 minutes with the requested Deed. I was amazed.
I did not know I was signed up for a monthly service and I called to request a refund for the service I did not use. The refund was granted and my account closed. I am grateful for their fair treatment.

I had no idea I would be charged more money until I got my credit card statement. They said it is a recurring charge at the bottom of what I was on. They did give me a refund and close the account so I'm sure they are used to this Sad they have to do this to make money cause some will never see it

When I went on line to look up a property record I thought I was getting information for $1. Then I saw I was being charged monthly at $20/month on my bank account. When I called customer service they said I accepted a plan of 30 calls at $30/month. I told her I only needed one record and had no use for a "plan" and that I was not aware of any plan. I was a little upset and could've been nicer to the lady that helped me. She did her job and helped me out and was always kind and professional. I apologize.

I was trying to get info on property taxes I owe. Went to the website to search and get a report. The website worked easily, but it ended up giving me a report on a property that isn't mine. I explained the situation to Rachel and she got me a refund and and closed my account, which is exactly what I asked her to do. Fast, friendly and easy. (So, even though this situation didn't work out, I'm now a fan of PropertyRecs so I'll be happy to come back in the future.)

A recurring charge of $20.00 was noticed on my online banking last night. I did pay $20.00 back on April 28,2025 to assist in getting a copy of my original birth certificate from Alameda County. I had no intention of a recurring need, it was one time only. So, online, I just asked to have it reversed, and I was told virtually immediately, that it would be reversed... as fast as that could be done.
