After I read all reviews here I was so scared, as a payed over 130£, BUT my dress was incredibly beautiful, perfectly done, quality of material was great, the same colour, beatify done all small details. Shipping took 1 week longer than expected, but contact with customer service was professional, prompt and kind- tracking number sent, delivered by FedEx, carefully packed. So this company is not a scam guys. Yes I am talking about Promlily.co.uk I didn't expect after what I read here, but I have to say: I highly recommend this company. Thank you
I ordered a Mother of the bride dress from Promlily. Website said "easy returns if not custom sized". I ordered many MOB dresses from different sites. Tried on this dress, less than 5 minutes. Contacted PromLily for a return label. Was told they "sent me the dress as ordered" and I dint qualify for a return. If I chose to return the dress there would be a 15% charge. The dress is a low quality! Several stains that we had to wash off. Fabric had a couple of cuts right on the front that couldn't be hidden unless you cut the whole piece off. Uneven sides, but the most funny thing is that one of the hanging string was sawn to the dress that's impossible to detach. The only pro is, it came on time, as promised. The good advice, stay away from this site, unless you're ready to fix all imperfections yourself like we had to do.
I purchased 5 gowns for my daughter's prom/s. All came in damaged either ripped or had ink stains. The quality was poor. I contacted their horrible customer service only to get conflicting responses from different people. I disputed the charge with my credit card and they said I had to return the dresses. The dresses were returned and Promlily said they didn't have the money to refund me. The only recourse I have is legal. Needless to say I am out over $500.

DO NOT BUY. Dress looked nothing like the picture at all, had 2 marks on it, the smell was beyond disgusting. When I tried to email to return the dress the company came up with every excuse to not refund in full. They tried to say they received the dress back and was no fault on it and sent a picture of another dress. Tracking proved the dress wasn't even delivered at this point!
They still have NOT refunded the £25.85 postage to return.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away from this site. Their customer service is awful and they lie about their return process. They are horrible and take your money and make up excuses as to how to deliver the dress back and refuse or play dumb to get your refund. They lost the order then all of sudden find it, they tell they will refund some or none and then after I demand the funds they never returned it and blame paypal. Awful experience and a cheating lying company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I was skeptical based on the negative reviews, but we received the dress and it is true to size and description. Shipping takes a bit, but you receive tracking information that is accurate. Overall pleased with the purchase.

Dress looks nothing like the picture. We ordered it with custom sizing and it was at least 2" too big everywhere. Fabric is ugly and cheap looking. Bottom hem of dress very poor quality. I submitted a review for the dress on the Promlily site but they didn't post it. They must only post the positive reviews. Dress was made in China.
I ordered my daughter a prom dress ahead of time and I did get my package. Ohhhh boy when I opened it they sent me the wrong color. Now it's 3 weeks before prom and sent multiple emails and they are not responding. The dress was supposed to be all ivory color and they sent me a 2 tone dress with gold at the top and ivory at the bottom. I even sent a copy of my original order to let them know it was there error and according to there policy I should get a full refund. They have stopped communicating with me and I will keep posting reviews on every site that I can. These MF'ers need to be shut down. Warning Do Not Order from Prom Lilly. Scammers!

Absolutely shocking customer service refuse to give full refunds instead offer for you to get the dress altered at a tailor at your expense or 70% against their site. If totally dissatisfied with original experience then why on earth would I order from them again. Which planet are they living on? Just give the customer back their money as all dresses are for actual occasions and if younhave spent all your cash on here where are you going to find more money from to buy another? AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU WILL ONLY LOSE YOUR MONEY MODERN DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

AVOID! The material is sub-standard and smells awful. They will imply that they're tailor made but items are mass produced. Costs a fortune to send back only for the company to advise that they have refunded, when they haven't. They will try to offer a small refund and their websites claim that you're not entitled to a refund when by law, you are. Still no refund from them. Terrible, terrible experience and no refund 6 weeks on.

I purchased a mother of the bride dress in October 2023 size 14 although I am size 10-12. The dress was miles too small, when i tried to get a refund i was told they would not refund as they have sent me the size i requested, there is no size on the dress so I only have their word for it. We are now in March 2024 and I am still trying to get a refund. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I have had to put 1 star on it but really it is -10

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with Promlily. We did NOT receive the dress we ordered. The color is all wrong and it's not even the same design. We ordered hot pink and received a pale mauve.
The dress we ordered had mesh inserts in the bodice and a starburst pattern on the front. The dress we received did not, and the neckline was different.
Completely different dress, and I can't return it because it's a custom size? Ridiculous that I paid over $200 for them to send us the wrong dress. I will NEVER buy from Promlily again, and I am a repeat customer. Terrible.

I purchased a dress from this site. When I received the dress it was obviously the wrong color. It clearly states on the site that you are entitled to a full refund if this happens. I tried to return it and they refused. Tried to give me 20% refund and told me to sell it myself. Horrible. Less than a 1 if I could.

Terrible items bought, nothing like the photo, stunk of fish and has been an absolute nightmare to get my money back. I have returned both dresses over a week ago and I am going back and forth fighting for my money back £100 worth of shipping fees to get the dresses originally sent and then returned back to even get my refund. This is a scam and the website should be shut down!

I was ordering a prom dress for my daughter from prom lily. I immediately cancelled the order after it was accidentally placed not even 5 min after it was placed. I received an email from them 2 days later stating that they would only refund me the partial amount. When I did not agree to that because the dress wouldn't have even been pulled from the stock yet or shipped so it made no sense. Then I did not receive an answer from another day to which she responded a picture of the dress and said "can you keep the dress! It's beautiful" I responded yes i would like to cancel now more than ever because the dress she sent me(dress in mannequin) did not match the dress they had advertised on the website color wise. (I have attached photos below) Once again never received a response from anyone until I emailed again requesting an answer as to if the order was cancelled or not this was 2 days it took to get this response.

I never received shipping information that the dresses were even coming despite payment being taken immediately upon ordering. When I emailed customer service I was assured dresses could be returned if they didn't fit with a 10% restocking fee. The dresses surprisingly showed up. Even though I ordered 2 sizes too big ( i assumed I would alter them) they were more like 2 sizes too small. When inquiring how to return, I was told to donate them to a local organization and no refund would be given.

I ordered a white sequin dress for my reception. When it arrived, it was a iridescent color, which did not look anything like the picture/color I selected. It looked more like the the "As Pictured" color. I reached out to customer service & got a complete runaround. Needless to say, I still have the dress, because they were making me pay the return shipping- which was $130, that's about as much as the dress cost! Also, when the dress arrived it had a different company name (Hebeos), so F.Y.I. They're the same people.
