About 3 months ago I signed up for a full year but I can't even get into my account AND no one will return my emails or correspondence.

I worked with PC on Cobra Kai Season 4 and it was amazing. They are the best at keeping in touch with you and they remember you. That means a lot to me and I am sure it will to you as well.

I signed up for this expensive casting company to get acting gigs. Even with signing up to be an extra is a no go. I should at least get calls to be an extra. I never get any call backs. No calls at all. I get a ton of projects that are out there but No one ever calls. This sight sucks. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this. Its a scam.

Why would a legit company send scamming emails? Horny women pictures to lure men for pills. Photoshopped picture of Elon Musk claiming to give free electricity to everyone.

Honestly, if you apply for a casting they cant even tell you what casting you've applied to, and they have no response system set up like (thanks for applying to ETC). You're just wasting your money. They don't give you any email updates for your profile of which you create to join this site. All the responses are generic and they honestly are not helpful at all. This is the worst casting company to go through. Just do your research because this place is not it.

I register my son in May 2023 and like many of us I did not do the proper research. This site is trash and should not be able to keep peoples hard earned money when they know they cannot deliver. When you are on the site it's so hard to navigate their postings and I wish you could better filter your search like age and gender or better yet have it customize to the member's profile. They do not remove old posts I was on the site searching to find 80% of those listings were already expired meaning the shots dates were already passed. I emailed them to request a refund within the same month they ask what was the issue and when I told him about the expired posts I never got a response back.

No phone number. No answer to emails. Refused cancellation request within one month of usage. If they're legitimate why would they refuse to let you cancel? Go to Backstage.com - don't waste your time and money on this one.

They claimed to help actors, but they steal your money and they only offer background work. The background work you find for FREE on backstage and other websites. DO NOT trust these scammers. They have been doing the scam for over 7 years and they need to be shut down. The website charges $108 automatically even if you only want to purchase one month! They never answers their e-mail and they don't have a phone number or customer service line! I have never seen or experienced anything like this with other companies. They need to closed down!

Don't waste your money, real casting calls are free, Try actors access or backstage. Most speaking rolls have 500 or more applications.

Foolishly I found Project Casting online and did no research before signing up for a year pro VIP membership. Within a month I realized that the notices that were being sent were first off, few and far between and moreover they were all the same as I was finding elsewhere (like they just copied Boston Casting notices for example). Not only that, each day they would send me an automated email to up my membership to VIP (pro or premium - they call it all three) even though I already paid for a pro account. I've attached a screen shot asking me to upgrade after over a month of having upgraded. I found out that my profile was not coming up in searches for those who had paid for a pro account. In fact, my profile didn't come up at all in searches. Furthermore when I went to contact "customer service" I discovered there was no phone number for this company and the help link on the website leads to a dead page. Emailing them only resulted in automatic replies and a run around with no answers, no help and ignoring my request for a refund. The current Better Business Bureau score for this so-called company is an F. There are no good reviews to be found of this fake company other than a few shills and sadly there seems to be no recourse. Do yourself a favor and do NOT utilize this site. Backstage, Actors Access and Casting Networks are all legit and have better and more up to date notices. Stay away from this site like the plague. I'm sure this will get an auto reply from the company saying the same thing they have said for years. How this fake scam hasn't been shut down by now is beyond me. Stay away!

They set me up with a fraudulent company that almost got $3500 Canadian from me. Then they would not answer my messages asking if they worked with this company.

I kept receiving these emails to sign up for outrageous casting notices and emails had only one button: Upgrade now. I clicked it, and it led me to a website with no information, now way to check to see if these casting breakdowns were real or not and when I clicked next, it took me to paypal where automatically I was charged an outrageous amount without showing me what amount I would be charged. I tried to reverse charges of $239.99 and I was unsuccessful. The breakdowns on the website are not legitimate and the whole website is a scam.
I requested multiple times to be refunded this amount I was charged without my consent and they never replied to any of my emails. On Paypal they refused to refund my money and they offered to refund only $119.
This is a ripoff, and I am here to warn others about this company.

I'm a castng director in New Zealand. These people are not legit actors agency and sent out my brief without my knowledge. I have had submission through them months after the job ended. The poor child will be disappointed to learn that this agency is probably nothing but a BOT.

This has been a terrible experience. They billed me for a year, when I only wanted a month. And I can't apply to jobs,because they keep telling me to upgrade.

I had a great experience with Project Casting with my very first casting call job. They were able to help me with all my casting needs and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of casting services. Thank you Project Casting!

Project Casting' constantly copy our posts from our Facebook page and posts them to their website. Unfortunately, they add to it, or switch the wording around to try and make it seem as if the info is coming directly from them. They use the words "xxxx company" is casting. This company adds additional info such as "Open Casting Call", "Looking for Actors" that is not on the original post. They've done this several times before, and we end up getting hundreds of emails from all over the world, which clogs our inbox and continues for months. It makes it extremely difficult for us to check the legitimate submissions and slows down our casting process.

Do not waste your money here. These people are scammers. I paid for a one year subscription and they auto-drafted my account for a second year without my knowledge. They do not have a phone number and will refuse to refund the annual subscription charge when you contact them by email.

I received an email for 50% off membership with code VIP. I clicked the link to see what the cost would be. It showed $19.99/month. OK - is that with or without the discount? I clicked "Upgrade my Account" to investigate further. On the next screen, there is a space to enter a promo code, BUT you have to enter in credit card info to move past that screen as well. Not a fan of putting in the info, but I say OK whatever at $120/year, I may consider it. I click "proceed" so that I can get to a summary page that shows the final cost. NOPE. Goes straight to a "Congrats You are Now Signed Up" screen. WTF?! I never even saw a final price anywhere! Then I get the notification from my credit card company that I was just charged $239.99. So not only was their check out process missing incredibly important steps, but I didn't even get their advertised discount on top of that. So now I have been mislead twice in order for them to get my money. It is incredibly annoying, but ok - I'll just contact them and tell them that I was expecting a summary screen and not for them to process payment. Surely, I will just get a refund - no harm, no foul. First, it took 2 days and multiple messages before then responded. THEN, they hit me with their "no refunds" spiel. They stated that by clicking on the "Upgrade my Account " link, that I had agreed to their terms, conditions, and no refund policy. Seriously? I NEVER clicked ANYTHING that said "pay," "process payment," "submit order", or even "submit." I have never been on any other page that does not show a summary of your order (or at least the final cost) before taking/accepting your payment. TOTAL SCAM! Between the deceptive billing process and the bogus promo code, this company used 2 different ways to defraud me. STAY AWAY and for the love of good, do not ever click "Upgrade My Membership"!

This is a scam! Don not fall for it! They don't have a real number and they won't give refunds or cancellations! I made the mistake and lost money! I was emailing back and forth and they wouldn't refund me my money or anything. No help at all

I am a UK based Casting Director and started receiving submissions from this company. I did NOT give them permission to post. I am not even registered with them. I received submissions from talent in the US, when the shoot is UK. None were even on brief. It is a total waste of time for those applying and for me & is an infringement on my copyright.

I have emailed them four times asking who posted my casting. They just reply with "Thanks for your feedback".

I have expressed concerns to them that they are posting castings without verifying the client's credentials, or even if the job is genuine. I cannot tell you how dangerous this is. They could potentially be linking up vulnerable models & actors with some very unsavoury characters.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are plenty of legitimate casting companies out there.

I like project Casting. It is very helpful. Project Casting has given me the opportunity to not only find job opportunities.

I am going to give my honest review about PC because I don't want this "company" which they are not even BBB registered or accredited to keep SCAMMING actors. I signed up for a monthly membership and they charged my CC without authorization $108. After emailing then so many times they finally responded saying there is nothing they can do. Their website it's very confusing and purposely done this way, so you think you are paying $25 but they are charging actors $108 for a yearly subscription. They have background work and is because they steal other websites auditions to post on their site and Instagram. Please please google and see for yourself how many reviews about this matter are online. They are a scam and they need to stop! They don't even have a customer service number. And people have made YouTube videos about how they scam people for their money. Actors access personally is one of the best websites for actors and it's legit. DO NOT give these scammers your money.

This business is not legitimate, it is a fraud, a scam. There are many reviews online which all say the same thing, that this website gave incorrect information about the billing process and then charged people 109$ a month for the year up front when people were promised a 9$ a month subscription. Then there is no refund process and no phone number to call for customer service. What kind of business takes your money and refuses to provide a conflict resolution number? A scam.

I signed up for this site, and unless I pay my profile isn't even visible. Essentially it's a blog with a social media style dashboard and profile, and all of the acting calls are stolen from other companies, and are often inaccurate. Companies have complained that everything on project casting was taken from their sites and re-posted, so they offer nothing original that you can't get elsewhere.

I checked online and my research uncovered the fact that the legal business address for this company connects to a shady shared office space which has hosted many white collar crime enterprises, which have been charged with various crimes like insurance billing fraud and the sales of fake debt acquisitions. What kind of legit business rents an office out of a space shared by numerous fraudulent businesses entities? A scam.

The CEO Jonathan Browne lists his job on LinkedIN as "CEO of Project Casting" yet one online filing shows that in the last filing period, the company only grossed 6,500 appx. How is that his "job" if it doesn't make a liveable wage? How does he actually earn a living? Is scamming a job? That's arguable.

Even on this site here, site jabber, the company puts its deceitful nature on full display. Among the reviews here, you will see one from a "Megan D" and a "Jonathan B" which are Megan D Kirven Browne, and Jonathan Browne, the married couple responsible for this fraudulent activity. They had to post fake reviews here on site jabber as the real reviews were all terrible. What kind of company sucks so bad the CEO and COO have to leave fake reviews pretending to be their own happy clients? In one such fake review Jonathan complains that people are unhappy with the site and shouldn't be as it's "free" but if its free why so many users griping that their money was taken deceitfully and not refunded? In Megan's fake review, she claims to have gotten numerous jobs through Project Casting, BUT I have seen Megan's online actors resume and she hasn't even gotten as many roles in her entire life as she claims project casting got her as a client. FAKE!

In addition, authorities should be asking these two scammers what they know about a certain crypto death threat scam!

This pathetic married couple has been running this scam for years, and it's time someone put them on notice. Their actions and behavior is unacceptable, its dishonest, illegal and downright immoral.
