I am going to give my honest review about PC because I don't want this "company" which they are not even BBB registered or accredited to keep SCAMMING actors. I signed up for a monthly membership and they charged my CC without authorization $108. After emailing then so many times they finally responded saying there is nothing they can do. Their website it's very confusing and purposely done this way, so you think you are paying $25 but they are charging actors $108 for a yearly subscription. They have background work and is because they steal other websites auditions to post on their site and Instagram. Please please google and see for yourself how many reviews about this matter are online. They are a scam and they need to stop! They don't even have a customer service number. And people have made YouTube videos about how they scam people for their money. Actors access personally is one of the best websites for actors and it's legit. DO NOT give these scammers your money.
I received an email for 50% off membership with code VIP. I clicked the link to see what the cost would be. It showed $19.99/month. OK - is that with or without the discount? I clicked "Upgrade my Account" to investigate further. On the next screen, there is a space to enter a promo code, BUT you have to enter in credit card info to move past that screen as well. Not a fan of putting in the info, but I say OK whatever at $120/year, I may consider it. I click "proceed" so that I can get to a summary page that shows the final cost. NOPE. Goes straight to a "Congrats You are Now Signed Up" screen. WTF?! I never even saw a final price anywhere! Then I get the notification from my credit card company that I was just charged $239.99. So not only was their check out process missing incredibly important steps, but I didn't even get their advertised discount on top of that. So now I have been mislead twice in order for them to get my money. It is incredibly annoying, but ok - I'll just contact them and tell them that I was expecting a summary screen and not for them to process payment. Surely, I will just get a refund - no harm, no foul. First, it took 2 days and multiple messages before then responded. THEN, they hit me with their "no refunds" spiel. They stated that by clicking on the "Upgrade my Account " link, that I had agreed to their terms, conditions, and no refund policy. Seriously? I NEVER clicked ANYTHING that said "pay," "process payment," "submit order", or even "submit." I have never been on any other page that does not show a summary of your order (or at least the final cost) before taking/accepting your payment. TOTAL SCAM! Between the deceptive billing process and the bogus promo code, this company used 2 different ways to defraud me. STAY AWAY and for the love of good, do not ever click "Upgrade My Membership"!
No. They are a scam and in my personal experience they are highly unprofessional. They steal our breakdowns and repost them without permission. BEWARE! They post almost no original content, only repurposed content from other source! Many Casting Directors I know and work with will not use any actors that come from PROJECTCASTING!
About 3 months ago I signed up for a full year but I can't even get into my account AND no one will return my emails or correspondence.
Don't waste your money, real casting calls are free, Try actors access or backstage. Most speaking rolls have 500 or more applications.

The membership fee lifts any restictions to the number of jobs you are able to apply during any given week/month and you have full access to all our networking and exclusive job posts. I love this website I have received so many opportunities from Project Casting they are the best. The best part is that they are a blog, a simple online magazine that lets people know of casting updates so that's why they are FREE! I dont know some people may have bad things to say, but why complain about something that is free. If you dont like it dont use it.
