I had used proflowers successfully once before so I ordered my mother flowers for Mother's Day and set the delivery date for the Friday so she would have them for the weekend. On Mother's Day I called my mom and asked about the flowers since she hadn't brought them up and found out they had not been delivered as ordered. I called proflowers customer support and yes the flowers were still in transit. The customer service rep apologized and only because he was concerned about the quality of the flowers since they had been in transit for so long offered to send a replacement. This doesn't really make up for the Mother's Day embarrassment but okay let's double down on flowers. Both deliveries finally show up but they are just pails of dirt with green sprouts. Not even buds ready to open up in the next couple days. Customer service rep was concerned bulbs would be open and wilting but not even close to the sprouts that were sent. Proflowers just embarrassed me. Poor product. Poor delivery service. Poor customer service. I will take the extra time and pay the extra cost to use a local florist next time.
5/18/16 gets better! I send in a complaint to customer service about the poor quality received and I receive a response saying we are so sorry so let us make this right with options so I don't choose to receive a refund but ask they send one more replacement bouquet that should be flowers. They say ok and send me an email thanking me for the opportunity to make up the mistake. So here we go again... I talk to my mom and I ask did you receive the flowers on Tuesday ( the designated date) and she says no. I respond to the customer service email asking the status of the delivery and this is what I get... your order was delivered on 5/10 at such time. The problem is my email correspondence on the poor quality product was on 5/11. They never followed through on the make up order and then tried to tell me everything was fine because I received the bucket of dirt on 5/10. I don't know how they are staying in business. This is getting ridiculous. I didn't ask for my money back, which was an option, because I wanted them to do right by the order and being a business person know that replacing the order is the best option for them but they still GOT IT WRONG A THIRD TIME. If it's that easy to make money in the florist delivery business then I'm open to business partners and lets do this because how do you run a business delivering poor quality products and miss your delivery commitment dates and have no follow through with your customer support. It must be a gold mine of a business to not care that much.
Ordered a nice bouquet and strawberries for my children's grandmother, to arrive Saturday before Mother's Day, because ProFlowers does not deliver on Sunday (already a bad sign). On Saturday, they told me that my delivery had been delayed. Rather than delivering at least on Monday, it was not until Tuesday that they finally did what I had paid them to do. In notifying me of the error, they also said that they would remove the Saturday surcharge, but when the delivery finally occurred, the surcharge was still on it. I will never use this company again. There is something seriously wrong with how it is being managed.
I will never order any flowers from your company ever. I've had the worst service and products ever. I order flowers and had them send last Thursday, and they arrived dead, not a single flower lived. I called to express my concern, and not only did I get hung up on twice, and not only was refused a manager/supervisor. Needless to say no one wanted to help me. I asked for a refund and new flowers and the told me they couldn't do that, so I asked for new flowers, they became to tell me I had to wait another 3 days for them to be shipped.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY, NEVER USE THEM FOR FOR FLOWERS.
I ordered flowers for my mom on mother's day. I was unable to be with her this year. The flowers were guaranteed on mother's day. I was supposed to get an email when they were sent out. As the day progressed and I heard nothing, I began to worry. Then around 3:00 I got an email from pro flowers stating they could not get the flowers to my mother, that it would not be until TUESDAY! Ridiculous. How in the world are you going to promise delivery on a Sunday and then move it all the way to the following week. I am highly disappointed with this company. I will never be using them again and will tell everyone I know to opt out on using them as well.
I ordered two bouquets through ProFlowers for Mother's Day to be delivered in two different cities. They were supposed to be delivered Thursday, May 5th.
It is now Tuesday, May 10th. Two days AFTER Mother's Day. I have called ProFlowers customer service three times, spending over an hour on the phone total. Their customer service line goes to a call center where folks with limited English work off a script. They have told me that they don't understand the problem. The only thing they have offered as recourse at the call center is 14% off my next order. (As if I would give them an additional order!)
I have emailed ProFlowers, and received no response. I have contacted them via social media, and was told to email them at a different email address, which I did. Again, no response.
So, essentially, I have given ProFlowers over $100 (which would have been more, without Groupon) for them to NOT DELIVER my orders. ProFlowers has still to offer reimbursement.
I will NEVER do business with ProFlowers again, and recommend that Groupon do the same.
I ordered beautiful flowers 5 days in advance for my mom to be delivered for Mothers Day. I spent almost $70, even after a 20% discount, which I'm still not sure if I actually received.
I recieved a confirmation email afterwards saying that the florist was putting my order together.
Then, at 11pm the night before they were supposed to be delivered I got an email saying that the bouquet I ordered was "no longer available in the area to be delivered". I was already asleep when I received it then I worked a 12 hour shift on Mother's Day and did not see the email until I called my mom after I got off work that night and she said no flowers had been delivered.
Since I live over 8 hours away from my mom, this was the best mother's day gift I could give her, and I know she loves flowers and it would have meant a lot to her.
I just got off the phone with ProFlowers, talking to someone who sounded like they were reading a script into a very muffled microphone so I could hardly hear them.
I explained my situation to them and the best they could offer, after being hung up on once, and put on hold for over 30 minutes, was a 10% discount on my current order, and delivery on Wednesday.
I can't believe that they would be so cheap in response to a complaint. Especially with flowers that were supposed to be delivered on a holiday.
I asked for my money back, but we'll see if I'll have to call them back to get that to actually happen.
I know I will never be ordering from ProFlowers again. I will not spend money on a company that is so unreliable and has terrible customer service.
I have always ordered from ProFlowers when it came to surprising loved ones on birthdays and other special occasions. Of course, on Mother's Day, I expected to order from ProFlowers and for them to delivered the same fresh, timely bouquet. Nope. I ordered the flowers back in mid-April to be ahead of the curve (and to also use the many discounts they offer before holidays). I ordered a great bouquet, filled out all the information, and clicked 'Confirm.' I even made sure the flowers were delivered the day prior to Mother's Day so I knew they would be delivered. Come Mother's Day: MY FLOWERS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. I called ProFlowers, and after talking to an oblivious representative, I asked for the manager. I was on hold for a total of 35 min. Waiting for someone to let me know what happened and to offer a solution. I finally got in touch with a supervisor, Janine? Janette? They told me that all it said in their notes was my order had a 'processing error' which was out of their control, and I SHOULD HAVE been contacted. I never received a phonecall, an email, nothing from ProFlowers. Oh, and apparently it wasn't ProFlowers' fault, it was 'whoever does the processing part.' After arguing with her, she finally said she would give me a total refund, but the earliest my flowers could be delivered were the 17th! I ordered these flowers in advance for the day before Mother's Day, and now they were going to be 10 days late? Then she said my order was 'so specific' that she could send a different bouquet for the following Tuesday. Again, after Mother's Day. I told her I would like my refund and I will never order from ProFlowers again. I have never been so disappointed and let down by a company. Clearly they do not understand how important holidays are and clearly do not respect returning customers. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
They ruined my Mom's Mother's Day. Ordered Calla Lillies on 05/04 for delivery on either 05/06 or 05/07. Well surprise... I called Friday evening and was told "your order is still processing" Called again Saturday morning and again was told my order was still processing... Long story short, my Mom never received the flowers, but I was still charged.
Buyer beware
First of all they were never clear on the price until after you paid for it... 29.99... turns into nearly 70.00 bucks... wow. Next... i placed my order 4 days before mothers day and hot an email at 4:30 pm on mothers day saying the flowers wont be there until 2 days later. Wow pro flowers, whats the point 2 days later. They ripped me off and didnt send the flowers the proper day. If i could give yall a 0 i sure would but 1 is the lowest. Take your flowers and shove them where the sun dont shine
My fiancé ordered two dozen roses for me for Mother's Day. When they arrived they arrived in a box. I was STUNNED when my fiancé told me how much he spent. I've seen better flowers at Walmart for a quarter of the price! So extremely disappointed and in awe of how a company could false advertise and basically scam its customers. HORRIBLE don't waste your money!
A $19.99 dozen roses cost $45.00! Plus the flowers look horrible. Do not waste your money. Call a florist direct in that area and have them deliver. I will never order from them again.
I ordered from ProFlowers nearly 1 week ago for my wife and my mother. I ordered the exact same arrangement for each and upgraded them both to a fuller arrangement. They were both received today and that is when I got pissed. So the flowers for my wife did not look anything like the pictures, they came is a box and the flowers were seperated from the vase which i thought was tacky... The vase was almost as tall as the arrangement and after cutting the bottom of stalks the flowers were barely out of the top... The flowers arrived in bulb form and the instructions said please wait for 12hrs to see them in full beauty (well I'm at 11.5hrs and they still look horrible)... After 1pm my mother called and said she loved the 24 assorted roses... I never ordered her roses, they were supposed to be tulips and amethysts... after calling customer service and spending a long time on the phone with a person with no human emotions I managed to get a refund on my wife's order and on my mother's arrangement they claimed they reserved the right to substitute any order if they ran out... they never even told me theyou ran out and I ordered 1 week prior... they finally said that they would send the correct ones to her Tuesday (I said that isn't mother's day but fine)... I told them I have never been so dissatisfied with a flower order such as this one... Stay away, save your money... You can get a lot more for your money buying a gas station flower arrangement... Read the reviews and believe them, NEVER AGAIN!
Was very worried after I ordered and read all the dreadful reviews about proflowers... sorry so many had a bad experience but mine was perfect. Flowers showed up on time, healthy looking and everything. I admit I wasn't sure what I was going to get from boxed up flowers, but they looked great. Hopefully they last a week as advertised. Oh one con to the whole free shipping thing they want you to sign for... hidden fees! I'll be sure to cancel before a months time. Don't really care if I get the discount because product was well worth making my girl happy for mothers day!
Ordered these flowers as a mothers day gift. Look nothing like there pictures i am so disappointed live and learn. So unhappy with them and the arrangement was 29.99 ended up being 61 and some change. This company should be ashamed. That money was hard worked for and a big expense on my budget, but for mom i thought she will be so pleased, worst flowers ever. Update, i wrote this review a couple days ago, since then Pro flowers is in the process of refunding my money. While the flowers were disappointing, there business is solid, i did not expect a refund.
I ordered my mother flowers for Mothers Day a week in advance. I paid the additional delivery fees for delivery on a holiday which way out cost the flowers themselves. The flowers never came on the day they should have been delivered and when someone finally picked up the costumer service line, after being on hold for 20 minutes, all they said was they are en route with fed ex. This was at midnight on the day after they should have arrived. If they can't handle a busy schedule like Mothers Day or Valentines Day, they shouldn't guarantee delivery dates and they definitely shouldn't charge obscene prices for delivery fees and "care and handling" fees when their flowers are literally get tossed onto your front porch by a fed ex delivery person who doesn't even work for Proflowers. Big mistake on my part thinking Proflowers was a reliable and worthy place of business. Please save yourself the frustration and buy your loved ones flowers elsewhere.
We ordered a casket adornment for my mother in laws grave site for Mother's Day. They delivered a cheap arrangement in a vase. It was supposed to be a spray. How do you set a vase on a casket?... sold as Casket Adornment. It was horrible and they stood by their policy that substitutions are allowed. That's the same as saying that delivering a pig instead of a cow is ok because they're both animals. Insane. Even the poor kid on the phone who tried to help me was embarrassed at such a stupid response. Stay away.
Yes please do not use this company. My husband purchased flowers from this company for Mothers Day. They were suppose to be delivered on yesterday. Have not received them. Now the delivery date says May 13th. This is ridiculous.
Nobody speaks English on their customer service and they don't understand it either! The flowers never got delivered had to disputed the credit card charge to get money back. I called in several times lengthy waits and they couldn't process through the language enough to fix the problem! Worst customer service ever. Don't use Proflowers!
I bought a dozen roses for my wife. $19.99 special. By time it was done it was over $50. Ok fine. They arrive, two stems broken off. Put those in a bud vase on my wife's night stand and the rest in the vase they came with included in the "$19.99" deal. Petals and leaves falling off. One day later half of the roses are drooping. I followed all of their directions to the T and was extra careful handling them. Wrote to customer care and got nothing. No response... at... all. Buy local. You'll spend the same amount, get a better product and help support the local economy.
This company is awful! Terrible customer service! They didn't deliver my mom's gift on the day I requested and didn't even try to correct THEIR mistake!
They didn't seem to give one F! When I told them I wanted to cancel my order, they were happy to do so. Like they could care less to keep my business. Do NOT waste your time or money.
Answer: CS could care less and obviously lied to me. I looked like a fool to my lado love dearly. I can screw my own life with out an assistant costing me $85 bucks.
Answer: You're going to have to call to see if the recipient even received them. When I ordered from ProFlowers, the flowers were never delivered and when I contacted customer service I was told they couldn't be delivered until 4 days after the event for which I ordered them. Customer service did not see the issue and felt this was nothing more than an inconvenience. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.
Answer: I paid over 100 for twelve on Mother's Day and never received them …… Hopefully I get my money back … Buyer beware
