Who IS this From?
July 22, 2016

Came home and found a box of flowers sitting in the sun---opened it up---no indication of who this was from---called the company with the reference number---they would NOT tell me because of PRIVACY!---hey folks this is NOT medical information but a lousey vase of flowers. IN the mean time I ask friends if these were theirs since I had just come home from the hospital----how embarrassing ----two days later Proflowers called with the name of the sender--------------this is not quality customer service!

Never Again
July 21, 2016

I used to use them often because I've always been happy with the price and the service. This last purchase was not the same. I called and asked for a refund because my flowers got sent to the wrong address (still delivered since they just drop them off and don't even make sure they are delivered fo the right person). They say they couldn't do anything except maybe give me like 25% off something. So my friend doesn't get her flowers after her grandmothers passing, I'm out $60 dollars and "I can't order something else." No thank you. I will never use this service ever again.

A friend was in the hospital dying of cancer. I ordered flowers for Saturday delivery. Proflowers called me FOUR DAYS LATER, on the following Tuesday evening (today), to let me know there was a problem with my order and it had not yet been delivered. My friend has been DEAD FOR THREE DAYS! She died the day after the flowers should have been delivered! Shockingly terrible service. I am devastated.

Recently a colleague of my boss lost his three year old grandson. My boss was out of the country so he asked me to send flowers to the funeral. We ordered flowers from proflower.com and expected the flowers to be delivered to the funeral. The day AFTER the funeral I received a call informing me that the flowers were not delivered. After this we will NOT be using proflowers.com in the future. These flowers were supposed to be my boss's way to express his sympathy to this family. We expect quality service and send flowers to people frequently and proflowers.com is by far the worst flower service we have used.

Yesterday I received a bouquet of eight small flowers from my kids from Pro Flowers for my birthday. The worst, most pitiful arrangement I have ever received. It turns out the arrangement was supposed to have been far larger and included chocolate covered strawberries. If you want to hurt someone's feelings and waste your money, use Pro Flowers.

I had ordered some flowers on my dads behalf to be delivered to my mom for their 25th anniversary. Well they arrived that day in the morning but when I opened the box I saw flowers but not the ones I had seen on the picture. They were ugly flowers, 2 roses fell off the stem & I had to cut the bottom of the flowers. I could of gone to the store & bought flowers & made my own bouquet that looked better than this. It was a waste of $50 & will be sure I never use this company again. So disappointed & worst thing is when you call the customer service they hang up on you as soon as they hear a complaint.

I have been using ProFlowers for special occasions for over 7 years and have never been disappointed. The flowers always arrive in Bud form and bloom beautifully over the next few days giving the receipient plenty of time to enjoy their gift. The flowers always arrive on time.
Recently a unique experience made me appreciate ProFlowers so much I felt the need to brag on them publicly. My parents had unexpectedly left their vacation home early and incidently the same day my gift arrived. I frantically tried to reschedule the delivery but betweeen UPS and ProFlowers there was nothing to be done.
I called my Mom and explained she would not be getting her Flowers as she did not inform us she was leaving early. Then unexpectedly ProFlowers shipped a new set of Flowers to her for FREE! I was in awe of this. Completely over and beyond my expectations.
While I hope this type of thing is avoided in the future it is so nice to know ProFlowers has my back and that I can rely on them to help me show my loved ones how much I care!

I recently ordered what was pictured as a beautiful pink Azalea bush in a white ceramic/glass planter/vase for the funeral. It was the mother of a close friend I've had since childhood and I loved the idea of her taking this bush out of the planter, putting it in the yard, and thinking of her mother every time she looked at it. When I went to the funeral it was nowhere in sight so I started taking notice trying to find it. At this point I was worried that my plant hadn't been shipped at all. When I finally found what was sent with my card I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a small basket, barely larger than the small box of tissues sitting next to it, with some mixed plants in it, nothing she would be removing and planting in her yard that would have her thinking of her mom for years to come and certainly nothing I would have picked if it had been offered in the first place. To say I was mad would be an understatement but more than that I was disappointed because of how much I knew the plant would have meant to my friend.
I called Pro Flowers the next day and after speaking with several people the best they could do for me was a 40% refund. All I really wanted was for them to send the Azalea to her but since the funeral was already over they wouldn't send it because it would have been a change of address. Now I'm out the 60% of the original price for the hideous arrangement they sent plus the shipping and service charges (they weren't going to refund any of that) and the amount it's going to cost me to go buy a bush for my friend because that's what I wanted her to have in the first place and Pro Flowers took that opportunity away.
I know they are sometimes forced to make substitutions but this wasn't even close to comparable in style, size, price range, or color. Needless to say, I will never order from Pro Flowers again.

Poor replacement
June 1, 2016

My azalea plan died in 2 weeks - when I called them they said they were "out of stock on azalea plants" and sent me a cheesy lily instead. I called back with 1/2 hour and inquired about an azalea plant - they said they "had a great variety in many colors" I was too disgusted to ask for a refund - just advised my family never to use them again.

I ordered a beautiful arrangement to be sent to my daughter at work on her birthday. I knew from the website that they would be delivered in bud form to ensure they bloom after you receive them and last for awhile. She received them on Tuesday and by Thursday they were wilting. Some of the buds never opened, but they were wilting and the petals turned crunchy and black. I followed the instructions to a tee, cut stems, put the supplied plant food in the water, took leaves out of the water, etc. After this happened, I read reviews on the Consumer Affairs website. They received one star from 305 people. That definitely says something about this company. I just wish I looked before I used them. Buyer beware!

If i could give a negative star i would. I ordered flowers for a coworker who had heart surgery. I sprung for the premium bouquet cause she needed cheering up so by the time they tack service charge, delivery and tax it was 80.00 okay no worries im not cheap. But when she sent me a photo of the flowers i was instantly angry. It looked like a bunch of flowers someone had picked up at the grocery store and stuck in a vase.
So i emailed CS twice... Today they called and asked me what the problem was... So i told them and was put on hold for almost 10 min. When she came back she asked where they could pick up the flowers and deliver more. I told her that my friend had gotten out of the hospital ( which isnt local 8 hr drive away) and i didnt know when she would make it home. Then she said oh well we can give you 20% off next order. I laughed and told her i would never order again she asked again where they could pick up and deliver flowers. I was not happy at this point... At least give me back a partial refund since the bouquet was so small that was delivered... she stated her only option was 20% off, i asked for supervisor none available. Customer services first language is not english, they do not listen to what you have to say. My advice NEVER waste your money on this company!

This is the second year in a row that ProFlowers charged me for premium delivery and delivered way late. Last year I let it go.
This year was ridiculous.

A day late, they asked me to make another selection. I called customer service. The "Customer Service" guy was so clueless that I eventually told him to cancel the order. At first he pretended that he didn't understand me, then he acknowledged that he had been asked to cancel the order and would send me an email when it was done. Of coarse, no email arrived.

Four days after the delivery date, I received an email asking for clarification of some point of the order. I responded, "Cancel the Order!". Well, a couple hours later my mother called and thanked me for the flowers. I had already told her that I had cancelled her flowers. She was amused, at least!

So, then they sent me an email asking for a review. I called "Customer Service" again, several times. They tried speaking with thick accents so that I couldn't understand, transfered me around from slurrer to slurrer, hanging up on me, etc. I finally got to someone who seemed to try and help. I asked for a refund of the premium service charges, $12.99, I think. The lady told me that she would refund the entire service charge and said that it was $26 and change. I agreed.

So, I received a $7.50 refund.

ProFlowers is simply not trying to provide service.

Ordered flowers through their website with a guaranteed delivery the day they were due got an email saying they would not be able to deliver spent 2 hours on the phone arranging a delivery sometime in the next three days with something similar that we ordered a week later still not delivered. I'm going back to 1-800 Flowers because they are way more dependable and helpful. I will never use the site again!

Your flowers were way more expensive than other similar companies, and fees were hidden until the end that almost doubled the price, but I had already bought a living social coupon for it so I needed to use it. The only reason I bought that one and not a different (there were plenty on living social) was because there was a guaranteed delivery date on Mother's Day. If I had wanted flowers delivered TUESDAY I could have bought cheaper ones. $95 for the smallest amount of flowers you had? That's absolutely ridiculous. I don't think I should have only been refunded the $25 delivery cost but also refunded half of my order. I'm obviously not going to use the "$10 gift certificate" they sent as an apology because there is absolutely nothing you can buy for $10. I feel like I completely got scammed. I think they KNEW they couldn't deliver by Mother's Day but they kept it up to get more people to buy. Very very disappointed.

I ordered flowers from their website with plenty of notice. Almost a week later on the delivery date - no flowers. For days after I had to call every afternoon asking where the flowers are and constantly get told - delivery be tomorrow. Finally after that went on for a while they grudgingly gave me a refund. AVOID PROFLOWERS

I cannot believe I used this company without reading these reviews beforehand. I ordered a simple bouquet for Mother's Day, and paid for a guaranteed delivery date of Friday. Considering it was a school, it would be simple to have them arrive on a Friday and I wrongfully assumed the name of the school would be code for 'deliver during school hours'. Boy was I wrong. My delivery date changed multiple times without notifying me, as I monitored it. Calls and emails failed to provide any changes. The delivery was attempted first on the Saturday before Mother's Day (my delivery date should have been the day before), but the school was closed, go figure. The second attempt was Monday, after Mothers Day, but it was made AFTER school hours, so again still not delivered. Tuesday no change in UPS notification so I called and after 4 hours of waiting and 3 phone conversations, I was informed that the vase had shattered and would not be delivered but would be sent back. If it had been delivered Friday, as I was guaranteed and paid for specifically, this would have never happened or been an issue. I honestly cannot believe this is how a company runs, terrible and unreliable customer service that I spent way too much time on hold with. My friends and family were floored as to how much effort I put in just trying to get answers and get these delivered. As of now, I have no idea where these flowers are or if they will be delivered.

They are TERRIBLE! Stay away, seriously. It's May 11th and my mother has STILL NOT received the flowers I ordered for Mother's Day which was 3 days ago. No phone call to me but an 'We're sorry, we can't meet your delivery date... but your order will be delivered by Tuesday.' It's now WEDNESDAY at 6:00 central time & im again trying to chase down the f-----g order! Gee, Happy Mother's Day, mom! I want to ProPlants/ProFlowers (all the same).
I call customer service & they tell me 'your order didn't deliver because there's no florist in that area.' This is in the Dallas-Ft Worth metro area... in one of the fastest growing cities here! So why the hell was I able to enter the delivery address & delivery date then receive a CONFIRMATION that my order will deliver on Saturday May 7? The customer service (yeah, right... They're crappy) asked me 'well, what do you want me to do?' Get me to the highest manager there. I got Jill, Assistant manager out of Conneticut.
At least this company is consistent, they f----d up my order last year too! But those TWO orders were a different city, but both in the same county & area. I'm not even sure the missed delivery ever happened. I'd guess not, especially since it looked like the same thing was going to happen here. Sure, keep my $150.00
My future flower needs will be calling a florist in the city where I need flowers delivered & skip Pro Plants aka Pro Flowers. I'd HIGHLY suggest everyone do the same!
