Terrible
February 25, 2016

I used Priceline website to book one hotel night in Avondale, AZ to take my daughter for a medical appointment, I am not familiar with the area. The hotel that this cheap website arrange for me was 25 miles from the hospital plus was a super cheap hotel and dirty with a terrible customer service that I had to pay a extra charge of $20.00 dlls because I requested two queen bed, the guy in the hotel saw us walking the meeting and my 2 childrens and of course that they knew that I didnt have other option than pay extra.
I contacted Priceline very frustrated for the hotel location (Confort INN 1344 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ) hotel service and hotel conditions not good for a sick child, with very bad attitude and of course no willing to help, this lady told me was my fault because I use cheap rate! IT IS WHAT YOU OFFER PRICELINE!. My budget was very tight and unfortunately I was unable to book another hotel close to the hospital location and at least a clean hotel. Was a nightmare, please dont use this site, it is a scam! You offer cheap hotels! With a mask of good deals! Never in my life will book on this site! Terrible experience for me and my kids.

I took a week off from work purchased a 4 day get away. I paid Price-line directly $1100 for Air, Hotel & Car. Spirit air canceled my flight without notifying me. I spent many hours on the phone getting my money back in dibs and drabs. First Spirit deducted $189 "agent Fee" on a $300 flight that they canceled after calling numerous supervisors we got that reversed. Then Price-line claimed the hotel would not issue refund so I called the Westin Missions resort they assured me that had I booked with them I would be refunded if airline canceled flight so Price-line admitted that they were charging the $687 PENALTY for a hotel stay I did not use because Spirit airline canceled my flight they made a one time exception and issued a $687 credit. Now the car although Hertz claims there is no penalty whatsoever Price-line did charge me $15 penalty. So the vacation that I paid for thru Price-line was canceled and cost me $15 penalty.

My friend paid Jet-blue for the same hotel $1200 and had a lovely trip! Lesson learned STAY AWAY from PRICE-LINE!

GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents. I booked airline tickets from Houston to Manila and paid flexible change, which means I will pay only the difference of the rate at the time if I reschedule my tickets, in this pandemic period to protect myself. But Priceline.com keeps stealing from me. I called Princeline.com agent to reschedule my tickets today. I called 5 times this morning, and in the first 3 time agents kept silent after said Hello playing music all the way. Then the 4th time and 5th time had a lady agent tried to help. I presented the trip and tickets I found in Kayak.com, then she asked carefully the flight numbers then give me a price which is over $3300 more expensive than the rate I found in Kayak.com. Her explanation is "Kayak.com is not Priceline.com" and her price is from Priceline.com. This made me very uncomfortable, but I decide that I will try to find a trip in Princeline.com then call its agent to do the reschedule again.

I searched the trip in Priceline.com in the evening again and found the proper trip with reasonable price, even though rate has doubled. I called Priceline.com. An agent started working on the reschedule of my trip. What surprised me is that she told me that she cannot use the price searched/displayed on Priceline.com but can only use another system's rate, then you know what happened -- the rated is over $2000 much more than the price displayed on Priceline.com -- same depart/return dates and same flights but price has gone up by over $2000.

I kept asking her if this is Priceline.com policy for you agents to cheat customers in this terrible way after the same situation happened to me twice already this time, she can say nothing but silent, still insisted on that she can only let me have this price. I told her that I will put what I experienced today on the web review, but she can only kept silent. I would say, GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents.

I just returned from a 9 day trip. I stayed the first 3 nights at Music Road Inn in Pigeon Forge, TN for a conference related to my job. This was not booked by Priceline. I did use Priceline to rent a car from Hertz. I chose to pay the extra for full coverage insurance for the 9 days. After the 3 day conference, my Fiance' and I drove to Reidsville, NC to visit the site of her ancestors and speak with her relatives. We went on line before we left the conference and reserved a room in the area for two nights. When we arrived to check in, we first asked how much a room would be for 2 nights. They told us the exact same amount Priceline said. I then asked about discounts for Disabled Veterans. They gave me a rate that was considerably better than Priceline. After that, we just looked up the rate on Priceline but did not reserve it. When we walked in and asked for their cheapest rate, it was less than Priceline. While on this trip we received notice from home that my Fiance's 73 year old brother had been rushed to the hospital. We cut our trip short and returned home early. I called Hertz and asked if I turned in the car early would we be refunded the last 2 days. They said yes. When I took the car back they refunded the 2 days plus an additional discount. I called Priceline, who I paid the full coverage insurance fee to, and asked about them refunding the 2 days I didn't use. The cost for this coverage was $11 per day for 9 days, or $99. The refund would only have been $22. Since the lady told me she had no way to authorize the refund, I asked to speak to someone who might have a way. She connected me to a man who said he could not refund the $22. He asked what the emergency was and I explained. He repeated, he could not refund the $22. This was my first experience with Priceline. I don't know what the rental would have been on the car without them. I do know that all the rooms we stayed in were cheaper without Priceline. I also know that $22 in not much to loose a future customer over.

My son is thousands of miles away studying abroad in South America. He needed a ticket to go to Chile for school studies, so I put the money into his expense account to make the trip. He went on Priceline.com and booked the trip. Priceline sent him a confirmation email that included confirmations of the flights and dates from the airline.

The next day they called him to tell him the Airline had rejected the tickets but they could rebook him for another $300 - ON THE EXACT SAME FLIGHTS! I called the airline who told me they never rejected the reservation - PRICELINE CANCELLED IT! So I got ahold of Priceline, but the people I spoke to (and yes, even the so called supervisor "Eddie" id 2i) are nothing more than script reading morons who either cannot or will not help you. They also will not let you speak to anybody else. This is a pathetic business model, and after we have spent over $10,000 with them in 12 months - they will never see another dime. Dishonest is the only word I can use to describe them on a public forum, be rest assured there are worse words in my mind about them now.

You don't track our flights if changes are made from the original flight plan. It cost extra to modify any changes to the plan made months in advance and is never the same as when booking it. The pickup time was schedule for 9:35am on my return to the airport flight and my flight was scheduled to board at 11:00am with doors shut at 11:45am. It is 45 minutes to the airport from Secrets Maroma Beach Resort and I didn't feel 30 minutes was long enough to get through customs' and get on my flight in time. I was having trouble with my phone getting messages and received your message on the 20th that was sent on the 19th. I tried to change the time but was not in the 24-48 hour window for my scheduled pick up on the 21st. It was said in the email that the airport was only 15 minutes away and that is a lie. I paid $66 for a taxi so I didn't miss my flight. I feel and demand a refund for that transfer. I will go to Priceline who sub out to Booking.com and complain about your scheduling and services.

We entered in the name of the city we wanted to stay in, and found a very discounted rate at what appeared to be a nice hotel. Come to find out, the hotel was 10 miles outside of town. We called to switch reservations and ask for a hotel in town, since staying IN TOWN is obviously what we wanted. We were told that we could not cancel or switch to a different hotel, even though, their site was completely misleading as to where our hotel really was. We spent time on the phone with Serg, who said it was impossible to cancel and that he was the highest level of representative we could speak with. He advised us that the hotel was in the "shaded area" and it was not their mistake. He also told us to log onto the Priceline.com website and fill out a form, so we did while still on the phone. After that, I grabbed another phone to call the hotel to see if they could help. They confirmed that they indeed were outside of town, and told us to have priceline (Serg) call them and they would help cancel. Immediately after speaking with the hotel manager, Serg was magically able to cancel. Also, because I filled out the online form, Joe began to e-mail me. He also advised that the hotel they found us was in the "shaded area" that we requested. In the "shaded area" and in the actual town are two completely different things that these representatives do not understand, and don't really care about. After a couple e-mails with Joe, I asked for contact information for a supervisor. I was again told that who I was speaking to was the highest level available. He had e-mailed me a few times and got my name right, but then he addressed me by another name, and even called me to leave the exact same message, regarding the "shaded area" on my cell phone. Basically, do not book through priceline.com, even the hotel that helped us cancel said this! And the representatives will feed you full of BS, give you the runaround, and clearly do not give a hoot about their customers, or the quality of service they provide.

The refund policy sucks. Not recommended. Unless you want to have issue down the road, go to the airline website directly is a better way to book.
