Did not receive flowers and refusing to give me a refund stating that they will investigate and not in a contract to agree delivery date. Will never purchase from them again.these were meant for a cancer victim. Ruined it
When you send flowers to a special person time is really important, because of the freshness of the flowers and you usually send flowers on a specific and special day, nevertheless this company doesn't think the same. The flowers arrived 1 day later and when I did the query with the company, they just replied the following "…By making a purchase from Prestige Gifting, you are not entering into any contract that guarantees a specific time between the times stated. At peak times we reserve the right to extend delivery times..." so time and delivery date for them is not important, and also they don't do refunds even they ruined a special day and gift. Not a reliable company.
Warning- don't buy from this place. Overpriced and do not accept responsibility for giving you less than what you paid for. I ordered a large bouquet for my mum's birthday and that is no way a large bouquet! I paid nearly £50 for this including delivery! No refund offered and no replacement bouquet, only a discount when you order with them again- why would you order with them again after that?! Just save yourself the headache people!
My sister received a very tatty looking bunch of flowers today, 16th Feb. The majority of the blooms looked dead. They were for her 50th birthday which was on 11th Feb. Delivery was attempted on the day by Royal Mail. I paid £6 to Haute/Prestige for guaranteed delivery before 1pm on her special day. Although my sister was at home at the time of delivery she failed to hear them. They were returned to the sorting office. According to Haute/Prestige failure to take delivery was my sister's fault. It was "at my recipients discretion" not to accept delivery according to one of the very unhelpful "customer care" staff. I've never been in the habit of telling someone they were having a surprise delivered as it rather spoils the surprise.A further problem arose because I had noticed on my confirmation email that my name was down as the recipient for the flowers. I let the company know immediately and asked them to change it. Three days later I received a message saying it was too late to change it.My name being down as recipient meant the flowers could not be collected in person by my sister or her partner. My sister has had a tough few years, an accident on holiday left her incapacitated for 12 months then, tragically, her 29 year old daughter passed away suddenly. These things are obviously no fault of the Florist. But they do mean I want only the best for my sister, as that is what she deserves. We couldn't celebrate with her on the day.I thought I could rely on Haute/Prestige's professional service to make up for this.I have used the company at least 6 times over the past couple of years and have even recommended them to others.I just feel frustrated, and disappointed.Veronica Hesketh
Ordered medium size "Be Mine" flowers on website. Image below.
Received a drab bunch of a few roses which would be compatible to what you'd get in the supermarket.
It does not even deserve single star, but has to tick to start the review. It's simply disgusted Company. Order sympathy flowers they deceived to wrong address. Ordered well in advance for Valentin day, never get delivered. Third order which was actually placed in advance has to cancel and fought for refund. I have no idea how they having this excellent n 5 stars on their web site. They are a biggest fraud among flower companies. Do not business with them. Their staff is so rude and unprofessional
"An absolutely APPALLING company! Their guarantee for a specific delivery date is a SCAM!
Beware this company does NOT send flowers on the day you specify.
Below is an email I sent to them. As a result they have offer me a refund of £5.99….
I will NEVER use this company again. I will make sure I will use a local florist. They always deliver on time.
This company's 100% satisfaction guarantee is a SCAM. They hide behind the courier, in this case the Royal Mail.
If I could give them minus 1 out of 5 I would.
Please be wary of Prestige Flowers unless you want total DISAPPOINTMENT!
My email below-
Thank you for your reply.
I do not believe that the non arrival of the flowers is as disappointing for you as it is for me, and think this is a rather ridiculous thing to say.
You haven't suffered the embarrassment of not being able to present your partner with a gift on their Birthday.
Offering me a £10 voucher on my next order is, to be quite honest, an insult.
I contracted you to deliver flowers on a certain day, and you have not fulfilled the contract. Whilst, I appreciate that you will blame "third parties" for this, it does not alter the fact that I engaged into the contract with Prestige Flowers and that they have failed.
Therefore, I am giving you the option of rectifying this matter by refunding my money.
If you do not, I will never use Prestige Flowers again.
I will also ensure that none of my friends and family do either.
I will also be writing a negative response on all review websites featuring your company. This is something that I do not wish to do, but if you cannot reimburse me for your company's failure, I believe I have no option.
It has come to my attention that there are many negative responses on all of the review platforms that I have checked in the past couple of hours.
The Daily Mail has a regular section each Wednesday where they publish letters appertaining to poor customer service, so I will have no option but to air my grievances with Prestige Flowers through this forum.
I do not believe spending over £50 is an inconsequential amount, and believe the minimum standard of service I can expect is for the flowers to have been received on the correct day.
I await your confirmation of a full refund before I proceed with my actions.
I would also be grateful if you would forward this email to your Managing Director, and your Senior Customer Service manager. I would also be grateful if you would forward me their names, positions and email addresses please.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
I received a bouquet (Rose & Lily) from Prestige Flowers 2 days prior to my 74th Birthday on January 19th. I was not in at the time of delivery so they were left by the side gate to my property.
After following directions completely they were arranged in a vase but after 2 days 3 of the 5 roses dropped their heads and needed to be thrown away. After a further 2 days all the flowers were in a poor state and so were thrown away, even though some of the Lillies were still in bud.
I have received many delivered flowers in the past from different company's and I would certainly not recommend anyone to order flowers for delivery from your company.
I cannot send proof of purchase as the box has been thrown away
Thankyou
Paid for next day delivery. Email says they will be delivered 3 days late. They were for an occasion which I assume is standard for the type of product. I have requested they cancel the order and they are refusing. Apparently they have already been despatched which means they will be in transit for another 3 days. God knows what condition they will come in.
"JOHN.B" needs some serious training in customer service.
I ordered flowers for nearly £60 for my wife birthday, but received flowers like £10 from local supermarket. Definitely not like on websites pictures. Old and ugly flowers. Very disappointed.
Ordered over £40.00 GIFT FOR DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY to be sent to her place of work after a couple of days not received checked royal mail delivery this gift was redirected three times eventually arrived at my home address I refused delivery as the flowers would have been dead and I couldn't physically get them to my daughter contacted prestige flowers to be told that I inputted the wrong address on the delivery instructions this is a lie its a drop down box and I know I ticked the correct address but prestige gave me a different address which I checked does nor even exist in the drop down box of course I then checked my order and sure enough the none existing address was there I cannot prove this now but I suspect that their delivery address systems needs to be looked at prestige offered me £ 15.oo on a future order as a goodwill gesture as a result I have suffered a few days stress my daughter has no birthday gift and I am £44.00 out of pocket
People please be careful when you are ordering from prestige flowers they let so many people down
Despite me emailing the company the day the flowers arrived the reply they sent my granddaughter is in a photo below.
Do not give them your money!
A gift from my granddaughter of Flowers that arrived yesterday and looked sparse and pathetic. The roses have black crinkle ended petals. Lillies have damaged heads. Such a disappointment. I would never recommend this company and suggest you beware! First two photos are after four days……last two are from day of arrival.
I ordered flowers for my mum's birthday on 30 November. They arrived 10 days late, rotting in the box. I complained to the company who tried to fob me off with a £10 voucher. This was only redeemable against a £29.99+ order, with delivery charges extra. They re-sent the bouquet. It arrived on 28 December, again rotting and dead.
My daughter also ordered flowers for my mum. When they arrived (on time) all the roses were dead and wilted. They again offered the £10 voucher and re-sent the bouquet which again arrived dead.
I have tried to complain using the live chat only to be refused a refund, over and over again. They said they would get back to me but did not.
My mum's birthday was ruined and she is sick of having dead flowers delivered.
Avoid this company like the plague.
One star is one too many. I ordered 3 bunches of flowers to arrive before 1pm on the 21st. 2 bunches arrived and one had dead roses. The third bunch did not arrive on the 21st. This was costly to me as I had to go to the local florist and but another 2 bunches as I needed them before 1pm to give them to my son's teachers for end of term. I ordered "Medium" I would hate to see what small looks like because they were small and dead. The 3rd bunch arrived 24hrs, if yo have an anniversary or something special. Don't order go to your local where you can see quality and size
Absolutely disgusting, ordered flowers on 18th December with promise of delivery for 19th December,
Just been delivered today 22nd all DEAD….
Tried to contact prestige flowers on live chat ema8led them 7 times got absolutely NOTHING back from them.
Disgraceful service …. And how embarrassing too for my auntie to receive what should of been a lovely bouquet of FRESH flowers as this would be the 1st Xmas without my uncle!
I would NEVER buy anything from this company ever & would most certainly NOT recommend them too.
Date of experience: 18 December 2022
AVOID THIS LOT, ABSOLUTE JOKE!
Everyone who's thinking of using this lot, don't, pay a bit extra and use INTERFLORA! These lot are an absolute joke, no real way of contacting them and you'll just receive an automated message. Yes it's busy everywhere but you'd think they'd deliver with 2 days notice! Apparently it's policy they don't issue refunds, we'll see about that.
Avoid like the plague, you will be let down and your loved one won't receive anything but these lot think it's ok to take your money. Also they'll shift the blame onto Royal Mail which we all know are a joke too, so use someone else! Seriously disappointed. Thanks for nothing!
I chose Prestige to send a bouquet to a poorly relative last Monday 12th Dec, paying for next day delivery, and also after checking they used 3rd party couriers due to the postal strike, however my £58 purchase is still sat in the Bristol sorting office, and I can get no one at Prestige to respond to emails, or their Bot ticket conversation from last Wednesday. Whilst I appreciate the postal strike is beyond their control, I specifically used them because of the 3rd party couriers, and now not to engage with me over the lack of product for my purchase, they are choosing to simply ignore it? Sadly I would never use Prestige again for this very reason, as whilst their bouquets may be lovely, the lack of good customer care is shocking.
I ordered flowers for my pregnant daughter. They never arrived. I was never given tracking info which l paid for. When l queries that the flowers weren't there I was told it was hard to deliver to Scotland. Despite admission of no flowers being delivered and my sending countless emails l was repeatedly told l could not have a refund. Only replacement flowers. I didn't want the flowers as several days had passed and my daughter was no longer in hospital. A really awful company.
I ordered flowers for my partner for our 10th anniversary and they never arrived, despite of the fact that I paid extra for a morning delivery slot. They tried to blame Royal mail because of strike action and they offered to refund the delivery charges which was no help to me what so ever. There are plenty of other courier services out there, so why use Royal mail knowing full well there would most likely be disruption!
These people are either completely lacking in empathy, or lacking in intelligence. Not sure which.
I will never buy flowers online again, especially not form these people
DO NOT TRUST ON PRESTIGE FLOWERS. Prestige Flowers DID NOT delviered on the date agreed. It was a 18th birthday gift. Horrible Experience. I will never purchase again. I asked menay times but they did not solve. They send through external courrier services. I feel totally cheated. Order number ******* 20th november was not delivered the day agreeded.
Answer: And such a poor customer service attitude. They made a mistake and blame me...
Answer: They come with your postman. Hope yours is better than what I wasted £45 on as a gift for my nan. I ordered the paris bouquet it was all dead and more like a swamp bouquet
