Prestige Flowers are part of Prestige Gifting Ltd. I would urge you to look at Prestige Gifting's reviews before purchasing from this company.
My friend ordered flowers for my birthday. They arrived on time but after a week, the buds had still not opened despite the fact that they were fed and watered as directed.
It was extremely disappointing and, to add to the upset, I had to let my poor friend know that the flowers he ordered were dying before the buds even opened.
I felt bad that he had spent good money on these and urged him to request a refund.
There is no phone line, so he had to go back and forth via the email contact details and each time, they tried to pressure him to have a new bouquet sent out. I did not want another bouquet from this company as the first one was no good. Also, to receive a new bunch of flowers 10 days after a birthday somewhat misses the point.
My friend is on the autism spectrum and finds this kind of thing very difficult to deal with and each response (and we are talking over a dozen messages) basically ignored everything he explained to them and it seems their strategy is to browbeat people into backing down and accepting a new delivery of flowers (because that's way cheaper for them).
Yet, under consumer rights law, if the flowers are intended for a specific day for a special occasion and they are not fit for purpose or not as described, the customer is entitled to a refund, they don't have to accept a replacement bunch... which is quite right.
Photos of the dying buds were even forwarded to customer service and apparently the Florist Manager deemed them to be of good quality! This is 7 days after receiving them, the buds still not opening and the ends of the buds blackening and wilting!
Of course, you can't speak to the "Florist Manager" yourself, you just get some standard response with an insincere apology and yet another pressuring message to accept a replacement bunch.
Further photos on day 11 (brown dead buds falling off etc) were sent and guess what? Another lame apology and attempt to pressure my friend into accepting a replacement bunch!
Having explained repeatedly that, no, this is not OK because they were meant for a birthday which had long since passed. Not to mention the disappointment and upset caused - they still were not going to even contemplate a refund. It's like banging your head against a brick wall.
It has been a truly horrible experience.
So I emailed them myself to cancel any attempt at sending out a replacement and have informed them of my intention to pursue this now as a formal complaint direct to the company's Directors.
The Managing Director is Simon Crowther and the Business Development Manager, Philip Crowther.
I would urge anyone who's had similar problems with Prestige Flowers or Prestige Gifting, reading this review to do the same. Their correspondence address is:
Office Suite E237

Another Director is: Christopher Miskell
Correspondence Address: 10 Henley Road, Wychwood Park, Weston, Cheshire, CW2 5GD
All this information is public record from Companies House. I state that for legal reasons.
Please write to these Directors and Trading Standards with your complaints...
Do not waste your time with the customer service chat or email. You will get nowhere and that is, in my opinion, done purposely.
I believe this company deliberately attempts to frustrate the customer to the point that they back down and accept what they do not need to accept. I am utterly disgusted at how they operate.
They seem to feel that they are above the law and because it's such hard work to get any resolution, I'm sure many people give up and give in.
However, they are not above the law. And despite the fact that this seems a large battle for a relatively small amount of money, my friend and I will pursue this matter via a formal complaint direct to the above-mentioned Directors.
If this fails, we will be writing to Trading Standards and making this situation known widely on all social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram etc.
We will be pursuing this legally thereafter, out of principle. Companies should not be allowed to hide behind generic email addresses that are manned by staff who have to follow a script.
They should not be allowed to keep using the excuse that phonelines have been cut-back due to Covid (other organisations are still managing to remain contactable). It's all a convenient way of dodging accountability and this is not acceptable.
People buy in good faith from you Prestige Flowers and Gifting! It's your customers who pay your salaries. You need to do better!
No lame replies on here please. We know they have no substance, will not be actioned and are simply done just to maintain face online.
We will be in touch with the Company Owners
Avoid this Company, you will get terrible customer service and go around in circles trying to get a resolution if you have a problem with your order.
I couldn't use or enjoy the flowers because they died before the buds even opened (as per attached photos).
Ordered for mothers day. Huge disappointment
Ordered for mothers day. Packaging and presentation well however quality of £50.00 bouquet of flowers was poor. The quantity of the bunch was no where near worth £50.00. Very small amount of flowers for the price and they had all wilted by Tuesday despite following the advised care so now put into bin.
I thought i would have got a decent, well put together arrangement of flowers however it was the complete opposite.
I have brought better flowers from the supermarkets which lasted 2-3 weeks.
I will go back to the supermarkets from now on as this was a massive disappointment for my mother and myself as I ordered them thinking it was going to be money well spent.
Guys I would not waste my money on prestige flowers they are not worth it what so ever. Take my advice and buy from somewhere else.
Following my review, prestige flowers replied. They requested photos however unable 2 forward any as none was taken due to the poor quality hence was not excited to take photos. As i stated previously flowers put into bin 2 days after delivery.
Customer services stated they will send me another bunch!
Surly companies give you an option as to wether you would prefer a refund or another delivery?
Well I await this delivery and will be taking photos of this bunch for sure.
£50.00 is a lot of money to throw away when unsatisfied with your order.
Prestige flowers state due to the government/corona virus, can send flowers for delivery 1st may as Dpd unable 2 deliver.
Can't understand this as I see numerous dpd on my street delivering still so very strange.
This company is a dodgy one and they know there flowers are poor quality hence why never provide a refund unless u take radical action.
As they would be providing refunds regularly 24/7.
When and if I do receive this 2nd bouquet of flowers If small amount, limp, mouldy I will take action and report to trading standards as this is taking the biscuit with us all 100%.
Won't ever order from these ever again.
I honestly don't believe anyone that gives a good review at all.
Probably related to the company or work colleagues plus all the 1 star reviews the company replys the same repeated thing. Email them with reference number and they will sort it out! More like email a load of rubbish avoiding a refund.
To date it is now the 1st of may 2020 and expecting this so called replacement bouquet of flowers which was appalling on mothers day.
I have not received any communication from prestige flowers regarding this delivery.
I emailed them enquiring about this.
I have not received a reply as yet.
I guarantee I will not receive this and will take this incident further.
Its now 2nd may 2020 no reply received from these people despite contacting them three times during yesterday.
Do not order from these nasty scam artists unless you want to be disappointed.
I honestly do not believe these good reviews.
Very hard to believe.
As these peòple wouldn't behave this way if they treated there customers properly.
What goes around comes around and each and every one of these scam artists will get what they deserve.
AVOID, AVOID.
I never really leave reviews but have been treated so badly by this company I feel compelled to warn others of my horrendous experience with this truly awful company here goes Never use this company you will be left feeling disappointed unhappy and embarrassed, ordered a 40 rose bouquet for my wifes birthday the delivery was on time but what was delivered was beyond belief they turned up in a cardboard box and when my wife opened 15 of the 40 flowers were snapped on the stem or the heads were broken off the rest of the bouquet was in a sorry state, I contacted their customer service and I use the term service lightly because what I recived was far far from service, asked to send photos of the damage which they claimed was minimal and offered me a 5 pound voucher I was flabbergasted and wrote back I was unhappy and I considered the damage extensive we then exchanged email tennis with them offering worthless and complete nonsense advice on careing for the bouquet which after 2 days was practically dead unless there was a divine miracle that could resurrect these roses from the dead theyd had it, the customer service then offered me a 10 pound voucher which I told them to stick as I would never use this company again, they guarantee 100 % satisfaction on their site will I was not even 1% satisfied they guarantee 7 days freshness for flowers these barley lasted a day I have now been told that is there resolution accept there 10 pound voucher or have nothing unacceptable why would you give these bunch of cowboys more of your hard earned money they are a total joke with no customer service avoid prestige flowers like the plague and use interflora there costs are all up front and they send a quality prouduct unlike prestige Flowers who say free delivery then sting you for a massive deliver charge wish I had stopped my order at that point, Dont end up like me disappointed and out of pocket prestige flowers in my opinion are the worst company to deal with and use poor quality products and charge high end retail prices the give the illusion they are high end retail when they are definitely not their prouduct shows they are clearly low low quality if I stop just one person using this joke of a company I will be happy buyer beware, also just noticed all the good reviews are verified orders but any poor reviews are not strange that not, just goes to show what an unscrupulous bunch they are not to be trusted at all
Prestige Gifting owns several brands so be careful who you order flowers online from, as my flowers sent from Prestige Flowers were not as described with regard to quantity having paid the supplement to increase the size of the bouquet. The directors of Prestige Gifting have several directorships of different trading named flower companies some registered at companies house others not. Along with a close link with associated directors of Flowerline Limited a distribution and wholesaler of flowers, who I suspect will be Prestige Flowers distributor as they are for Debenham Flowers, 123 Flowers, Barnardos Flowers, Home Bargain Flowers and I suspect many, many more. The company Flowerline has many outlets and describe itself as the largest distributor supplier of flowers in the UK. I suspect that they are! They do not show a telephone number to contact as again I suspect that Flowerline handle the customer service for many brands and as such a telephone line would be more inconvenient for them. Whilst I found their customer service by email to be politely worded and carefully crafted the replies were inconsistent and possibly replied from cut and past preformed text by different employees. A search on the internet bring up a 0844 customer service number, which is highly toxic at up to 44p per minute. This shows that the company try and discourage customers from telephoning them. The 100% satisfaction guarantee is worthless and pointless if you read their terms and conditions of the guarantee. The Prestige Flowers and Prestige Gifting the parent company have had advertising complaints upheld by the ASA against them in regard to several issues. From my experience the pictures shown on my order where not representative of what was being ordered or what was actually delivered. You will note, with research, that the reviews on Prestige Flowers are 5 star but, in reality, some doubt should be raised against those reviews when you consider the reviews on the parent company Prestige Gifting is 1 star on the same review websites. With Barnardos flowers you will see the prices are cheaper than Prestige Flowers but do contain less flowers as shown in the pictures compared to Prestige Flowers meaning possibly that the 25% REFUND TO BARNARDOS could be done by giving Barnados customer less flowers in their bouquets. Whilst the company highlights that it has increased it staffing from 4 to 300 over a two year period they must be doing something right, you would have thought. Surely such a progressive company with so many brands should be able to show you in some detail what you will receive in your flowers as my experience the dame flowers are shown with all 3 sizes only the size of the photographs changes, again this could be seen as intended deception as my order after contacting their customer service was short of 4 lilies but they insisted that the order was dispatched correctly. In future I will be ordering my flowers which offers a 0800 customer service and order number to be able to talk directly with the company should a problem or query me necessary. The ASA said The ASA considered that the bouquets received by consumers should resemble, as closely as possible, the images displayed. The ASA noted that in the images provided by the complainants all the bouquets were less voluminous and had significantly fewer flowers than advertised and in some cases, an advertised flower or similar alternative was missing altogether. As the bouquets did not resemble the products displayed in the ads the ASA therefore concluded the ads were misleading Be CAREFUL which supplier you choose to send your flowers.
I ordered flowers, a balloon and cake for my Mother Birthday from Prestige flowers. I placed the order 6 days in days in advance and they didnt arrive! I understand that sometimes things can go wrong, but I was obviously very disappointed, especially since I had ordered them well in advance. I contacted the Company and expressed my disappointment. To my horror, instead of trying to put things right or offer me a refund, Prestige Flowers was only interested in quoting back to me their terms and conditions. Now Im a reasonable person, but to send me your terms and conditions when youre clearly at fault certainly wasnt the response I was expecting. For time sensitive gifts and in fact all gifts because of their lack of interest in resolving problems when things do go wrong, I wont be using this Company in future. Dont think just because youve ordered them well in advance, that they will actually be received by your loved ones on your specified date and dont expect refunds or after sales service. At time of writing, still no delivery and still no refund. Copy of response attached:

Warm Regards,

Ordered flowers for my wife for our anniversary on the 29th September, for delivery today 2nd October. I was originally under the impression they were a little like Interflora and used local florists only to later discover they use couriers, such as Royal Mail.
I watched the 'tracking' all day to see if the flowers were being delivered and as it's going to an institution, I'm aware that the office my wife worked in would close at 5pm as the mail room for the whole organisation closes at 4.30
When I contacted, I was given the excuse that 'the third party' being the courier and they have no control over their business and delivery times can be up to 6pm or 7pm under certain circumstances.
Obviously this is no use to us now, not only is the office closed but also my anniversary surprise to my wife has been totally ruined and this cannot be undone or erased.
I simply want a refund for the cost of the flowers (my purchase price) along with the charge to me for delivery which was over £5.00 I don't want any goodwill, or freebies, I don't want anything more than I am owed. I just want to put this down to bad experience, poor trader and not use them again not that this will at all bother them for they are not interested in receiving word of mouth from customers who use real florists.
Further update 3/10/2017
Royal Mail informed me that they hadn't received the goods for delivery to their premises for delivery for the 2nd October and this was indeed reflected in their tracking app on the Royal Mail site. When questioned further Royal Mail were able to indicate when it required to be sent to them for them to deliver and Presitge Flowers failed to do this.
Prestige claim to be 7 days a week and this order was put to them on Friday 29th September for delivery on the 2nd. When you complain to this company, all they do is spout of 'terms and conditions' but for those of you who live in Northern Ireland, Scotland and beyond the 'centre of the universe of Yorkshire' beware this is what they hit you with...
4. 2. 3
Please note that in some circumstances courier delivered products to Northern Ireland, Scotland and harder to reach areas may take an additional working day in transit.
We are sorry if you overlooked this information but we have made every effort to ensure that our customers are aware of any possible delays when ordering the next day courier delivered range of flowers.
And so a lesson learned, never to use this company again as in my opinion they almost operate like scam artists and do not know the meaning of customer service. Their agents are liars, as i have multiple emails all of which tell different stories. If I could have given this company minus 5 on a score, I would have. Avoid like the plague and stick to proper florists.
