Filled out the form like I did with gutter guy then immediately got spammed by Leaf Filter they advertise they do gutters then say oh sorry we will send you a referral without my permission it's some kind of shell company to make referrals then they psycho dialed me from a call center over and over this is a scam of the highest order

Luis Alvarado aka Luis Miranda came out to fix my fireplace and chimney sweep and fireplace cap. Had one burn and it cracked and popped out and he patched it the first burn and it did it again and the cap blew off the chimney. I paid 1.600 for the job and he never returned to givee my receipt and fix the box ignored my calls and text.

Claims to be "Best Roofers in San Diego" when they are neither a roofing company nor in San Diego. They take your info and sell it to other companies who want your roofing job and pay "Powell and Sons" (they are really Ad Practitioners, LLC doing business as Consumersadvocate.org) for the info, but there's no telling who or how legit these other companies are. Please report them to https://www.ic3.gov/ and https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/

This company pretends to be a local roofing contractor and then when I input my information for a quote, they pretended they couldn't help (a standing seam roofing company can't replace a standing seam roof?) and said they would send my information to other contractors. They then sent to Angi and Home Advisor who both sent out to multiple contractors. I received call after call and email after email and text after text, when I only wanted to speak to one person. I went through Trust Pilot to ask them to delete my info but it was obviously too late because I keep getting calls. This is totally deceptive and if I wanted to use Angi or Home Advisor I would have used their services directly. False advertising and deceptive business practices! I will never use any contractor that calls me through this - which is not really fair to them but I won't give this company any money from me.

This is not a business. This is Angi pretending to be someone else because nobody with any sense wants to deal with Angi. Angi's business model is to make contractors pay them to get leads, but in doing so Angi buys advertising to get in front of those contractors who would have been seen if Angi didn't cut in front of them on the internet. Now Angi has to disguise itself as a legitimate small town business called Powel & Sons to cut in front of local contractors. Disgraceful.

Powell and sons is NOT an actual company providing services mentioned on their website. They will only pass your information along to tons of other businesses so that they can contact you in order to try to sell YOU their services.

As soon as you enter your information, you will be bombarded by calls, texts, and emails soliciting services to you. If you don't want this to happen, DON'T enter your info into their website. You can read their privacy policy, which will explain that they will collect your information and give it to other businesses.

They are most likely profiting from selling your information to these third parties, and making money from affiliate marketing. They are not in the business to provide services, but to market the services of others.

I personally feel that what they're doing is dishonest and a bad business practice, which is why I'm rating them only one star. However, what they are doing is technically legal. This is why it is always best to research a company and read their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before taking any action.

Phony website that looks like a real contractor. But it's just a service that sells your information. All you get is inundated with calls many from badly-reviewed contractors. They should be ashamed!

There is no option to call the company, it's only done via their website. I made three attempts to request a quote for a new grease trap installation and I never even received one single response.

I have submitted 4 requests for a quote and in the last one I asked them to let me know if they can't service. To be ghosted and completely ignored is not acceptable.

Don't fill in your info unless you want 100's of aggravating unsolicited calls. This a a sales SCAM!

Filled out estimate form on website for screen door installation. John from another company called Design Windows informed me they don't do screen doors. I advised it's on their website which he adamantly said again that THEY DO NOT DO THAT. He said he'll talk to someone about taking it off webpage.

They only like "big" remodeling jobs...if you say you're job is a small one you will immediately hear weird loud sounds on your phone for 3 minutes before the line goes dead. No callback.

This company poses as a local contractor but appears to just be a source of potential customers whose info can be sold to unknown contractors who then pester you.

Do not fill out a quote form. They give all your information to telemarketers. If you're not the company doing the work then remove yourself from such searches. What a scam

Called for a roof estimate and got sold to Angie's list and Home advisory. If I wanted to list through those site I would have directed my business that direction
