This is really amazing -- from a company that should appreciate their customers who are willing to pay for their overpriced items especially. I ordered two robes for my granddaughters priced at $ 70.00 each. Easy enough. Free shipping. Great. The day they before they were delivered, they are reduced to $ 47 each. I assume, no big deal, I will call for an adjustment. But guess what, they won't adjust the price. I have to return the robes for a refund and then order new ones. AND I HAVE to pay for return shipping OF COURSE. Does this make any sense? They also have to pay to re-ship the new robes, the same exact robes. Bad business. I won't be ordering from them again. Only from companies who have RATIONAL policies regarding returns and credit adjustments.
Wanted to say how much I appreciate the help of the Pottery Barn for Kids (and the whole Williams-Sonoma Inc) customer service team for helping me out with a special birthday present for my grandson.
I had ordered a chair and accidentally shipped it to the wrong address. While it did not process the way had "expected", they were able to deliver the chair to the corrected address at no additional cost and before his birthday. And my grandson *loves* the chair.
Having worked in customer service for a Fortune 1000 company, I know the effort put forth by the team to make this happen and wanted to express my true appreciation for all their help!
I love the products sold by Pottery Barn Kids. I have ordered my children's bed and some playing stuffs from here. The products are really good. Enough sophisticated, aesthetic and adorable for your child. I am satisfied with their product, But a bit of problem regarding shipping time and cost. Hope they will overcome it, and will buy again.
*edited. The company did issue me a full refund.
I ordered a backpack from PB Teen (Gear-up drip Painting) & it tore less than 3 months. The recycled bags are cheap, DO NOT BUY and waste your money! The backpack only housed lunch box and folder for a 2nd grader. I will not shop here again.
I've had an amazing experience with PotteryBarn Kids. I purchased a floor lamp with glass shades from them and accidentally shuttered one of the shades myself a couple of months later. I wrote to the customer support asking if I could purchase these shades, but they instead sent me a set of shades for free, knowing it was my fault. If I can count on them standing behind their products to that extent I'll keep buying from them for sure. Thanks PotteryBarn, great job!
They fit well. The material (100% cotton) is exactly what we were looking for, as we're always striving to purchase clothing that is made of natural fibers. The pajamas are soft, and our child seems very comfortable in them. Seller was prompt with shipping. Overall, this was a highly satisfactory purchase, and one I would without hesitation make again.
PB Kids does not seem to have an option on their site to write reviews of products? I never even noticed this. Anyways, I am writing about their kids backpacks - Mackenzie - boy and girls. We purchased these items (with lunchboxes) in 2010! We are STILL using them! This my 8 year old twins 6th school year using them. That is 2 years of preschool, Kindergarten, First grade, Second and now Third (I will stop after this year, starting to finally have some guilt) They have HELD UP like crazy. They are not just starting to look worn after 6 years of use. Machine washable. Lot's of pockets. Not a single zipper broken. They are quality and I would purchase again. I would also include photos here if I could, but does not seem to be an option to do so.
Just wanted to take a moment to recognize Pottery Barn Kids for being super reliable in the 15 or so orders of polka dot baby blankets that I've bought from them over the last 8 years. Each one was personalized and my friends looove them! Most of the time I'm amazed that these blankets (each personalized and shipped all over the country) arrive well before their projected delivery date... especially in the Greater NYC area where I lived. I think only 2 required an extra week or so doing to being back ordered, but they were shipped in a reasonable timeframe and were worth the wait.
When we order our kids lunch box we didn't know the ETA would be for the following year…recently received a bill that was 7 months old. Over five phone calls. We just keep getting the same message "all taken care if" and "it's on the way" and yet we have received nothing. I didn't get what I bargained for, this company gladly took our money but have failed to literally deliver what was order in July of 2022! Now April 2023
They are a joke. Don't believe their estimated delivery dates if something is not in stock. They just keep pushing it later and later each month even though I called and asked when they would actually ship it and they told me we were on the next shipment that was coming in. Still haven't shipped a month later again. They keep putting a pending charge on our account for the item and then eventually get rid of it because they still haven't shipped it. Customer service is no help. Very disappointed in them as I already have the table and have been waiting 5 months for the chairs with no end in site.
I ordered a European pillowcase and matching comforter for my daughter in February, pillowcase arrived in March, it is now May and still no comforter. Always same reply to emails, can't say when it will be shipped. Have just requested a refund for product and $25 delivery fee. 12+ weeks is an absolute joke. Get your act together.
Ordered an entire bedroom set for my son in July 2020. We finally got our last piece in March of 2021. It took 9 months to get all of the pieces after the original estimate was 1 month. As other reviewers have stated, they do not update you on any delays. Delivery dates come and go and you need to call them up and ask them what is happening. On top of this, they shipped the wrong item to us multiple times throughout the 9 months. The customer care reps do not seem to care at all when you call them. DO NOT order from Pottery Barn. Go anywhere else.
This company is pathetic! I just tried to return an item and they told me it was "final sale" and could not be returned! Where was this mentioned when purchased? No where! I am hearing about this for the FIRST time that this was final sale. I would have NEVER bought this blanket had I known! If your companies has a ridiculous no return policy on version items then there needs to be a warning that comes up when purchasing somewhere…I should not have been able to completely miss it. Now I have an poor quality uncomfortable expensive blanket that NO ONE wants! No wonder the store closed near me, I will never buy from this company again.
I'm not one to complain or write a bad review but I have to with this one. I purchased a blanket back in June when I was expecting my daughter (September) since using this the blanket has frayed and the stitching has come away (7 weeks of use!)I contacted the company to see if there's was anything that could be done. Well the response to this was absolutely shocking to sum up the email there's nothing they can do. As a company that like to put a hefty price tag on their products you'd expect a better customer care and quality of product. No offers of a repair, refund, replacement or part refund they also don't offer any guarantees or warranty's. I will certainly not be using this company again and il be telling friends and family to avoid!
Ordered a Disney princess toddler sheet set With a personalized pillowcase, all I received was the pillowcase. When I called to find out where the rest of the order was they said that's all I had purchased. I clicked my confirmation email link and lo and behold it goes to the whole set. She tried to explain some loophole about how I ordered just an extra pillow case! Absolutely ridiculous I will never buy from here again! Not sure how they can get away with stuff like this my confirmation email clearly goes to the set not just a pillowcase.
Anyone who is leaving more than a one star review for Pottery Barn Kids has either been paid off, works for the company, or hasn't actually used the product yet because let me tell you- it is JUNK. Overpriced, poorly made, piece of garbage, complete junk. We received the Colton backpack as a gift and it frayed and disintegrated within 2 weeks. Customer service won't do anything to remedy it because I don't have the order number- it was a gift and I don't want the giver to feel badly that they wasted their money by asking for the order details. Very sad that they are coasting along on the "quality" Pottery Barn name but then don't even allow reviews on their website of their crappy products to warn other potential customers.
I placed a large order that included several monogram items. I never received a confirmation email, so I few days later I placed the same order again. Apparently the first order was placed, and it arrived shortly after, and most of the monogram I asked for was incorrect. They are also not crediting me back the second identical order placed, even though they admitted to having issues with their confirmation emails going out. I never should have given them a second chance, I had a horrible experience with Pottery Barn Kids five years ago, where none of my order arrived before Christmas even though it was placed over a month before hand. I get having lots of orders, but don't let the orders be placed if you don't have the inventory or man power to execute the order. The item below is just one example of the awful errors, the bottle was supposed to say "Robby"
Ordered a stocking for our new born that was due to come Dec. 16. They didn't even email saying it was pushed out to January 16, I just checked because it never came. Now it's 3 days to Christmas and we have no stocking for our newborn. Terrible.
I did my registry through Pottery Barn kids and regret every single second of it! It has been a horrible experience, over an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone and then being given no information when things are missing, late or you want to return something. Items were received scratched or damaged and I cannot get any help! Horrible horrible customer service! I will never ever shop here again.
Ordered a $1200 cameron storage system, came ikea style self assembly low quality, refused the delivery and now weeks later still have not received a refund after an hour on the phone and 10+ emails to customer service
Answer: Hi Vicki: We are so sorry to hear about your recent experience when you inquired about your order. Please email our elevated team at support@potterybarnkids.com and we can then reach out you directly. Thank you.
Answer: It's not possible. Buy from somewhere else. These people are useles
Answer: Both! They sale items that they do not have in stock and have no idea when or if the items will be back ordered. Impossible to get a refund.
