I bought over 12 items on the site and they were all worth next to nothing but I paid over a few hundred dollars just to see the same items for sale not even 24 hours later. It's sad really. Seems like a scam to me
Policeauctions sells unmitigated junk. According to my jeweler, the "diamonds" were painted on the necklace. Unbelievable! However, PA had enough integrity to give me a refund, excluding shipping. STAY AWAY! You'll find better quality at a dollar store or in a Cracker Jack box.
I bought numerous items for Care Home team as s thank you for keeping covid out of my Care Home. I purchased solitaire diamond rings watches earrings bracelets stating 1 carat also gold. None are gold and the value stated was $*******. 00, they aren't worth a grand in the UK. Poorest quality diamond available
I ordered and receiver 4 rings from you that were advertised as real diamonds and rubies. Upon receipt I took them to our jeweler and after doing a appraisal we were told they were fake and not work anything. Are there any class action lawsuits out there against these people? They may return part of your money however they keep the shipping fee and also charge a restocking fee. WRONG. I will be contacting our lawyer re this.
I won an auction for a 10k gold topaz ring and instead received some tiny little black earrings. I followed directions for sending the item back for exchange, but later was only given a credit as they said they had no more rings or anything close to it--that took a month. Then I check the site and the ring is back up for sale. Customer service people were very rude and kept talking over me. I had become a good customer until this happened. Their loss, never again.
So I won a bid for 4 piece amazingly cheap diamond set and for only 151dollars i thought wow i won! But then prior to paying decided let's check Google and see what people had to say and boy am I happy I did that! Lol share the word folks stay away from these scammers! Its a shame they use the Police name in doing so... everyone should delete their accounts in my opinion!
Won a bid and received item. The ring was lovely but it turned from gold to black the 1st time wearing it. Same ring has been up 3x since. This site is scamming people with fake cheap jewelry and will give you the run around when requesting a refund.
Jewelry was fake. Costume at best. They mislead or lied when they said "diamond" counts... they meant fake diamonds or those such low quality... worthless. Took to sell... no offer... not even a dollar. I suspected ad much when I saw what was sent.
Police Auction.com They lead you to believe that they are an official "police auction". Showing other items like cars etc. However, It is a total ripoff. Everything is Fake. They add things to their site to try to make it look legitimate, but it isn't! Please don't spend your money here. You will get total junk and be so upset. Plus, they will keep charging your account 7.95 a month for Police auction. Even after a refund of one month, they continue to charge you. This leads to dragging on longer for you, as you have to engage with them to get them to stop charging you. A real pain in the A**
I recived my first six items, all of them are fake, I took to a place for knowing the value, He said, you can have all this in a flea market for$5.00 each, shamed on me I believed this was an honest bussines.
PoliceAuctions.Com is a total scam on customers and there stone's. Their photos are deceiving and fraudulent. The photos mislead you to appear that they have clarity. There is no clarity to any of them. I told them via email that I would be taking them to a gemologist for appraisal value. Unfortunately, by the time I could get an appointment with a credible gemologist, it took too long to get results due to covid and time expired for return. Now I'm stuck with over $700 spent on junk, no value stones. I burned myself and hopefully this posts keeps other consumers from being burned by a scam product site.
The site impersonates a police auction page to sell cheap low quality jewellery at inflated prices. The items pictured are often worth thousands of dollars but the items delivered are cheap knock offs with glass jewels low quality gold or other metals painted gold. Many of the items snapped/broke in the mail. Might as well be called fakevalubles.com
Note that the page also has given itself fake reviews to try balance out people calling it a scam
If any one never get ripped off in your life before, please buy things from police auctions. They should change their name Thiefs auctions. I recently bought a mini projector and I paid two times more price than Walmart price. I really don't know the bidders I was bidding with the others are real or not. Ok I didn't compare the price of the things I bought. How but the others, will they won't check the price too. I don't thing so. Something is fishy. I bought almost close to $2000. I really got ripped off in this websites. Please be careful.
I bid on two rings from this site. What was supposed to be a ruby and diamond ring and an emerald and diamond ring turned out to be cheap plastic "stones" in settings that look like they were formed using a hack saw. This "jewelry" was not even good enough to be classified as costume jewelry. I have applied for a refund but am going to protest through Paypal as well for a refund. These people are shysters, scammers, liars and are only out to take your money. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bid on anything from their site!
Just had an appraisal done on the so called sapphire I purchased at the police auction and it is not even a sapphire. The cost of returning it is hardly worth it when you factor in shipping and the ridiculous exchange rate from American to Canadian. You lose both ways? If it is to good to be true, well...
Cheapskate, nothing more than the garbage sold at night market. Bought one bracelet which I think not even worth $20, paid more than $200. You can see from the way they packed the product, no need signatures, just like cheapskate small parcel
If all the people on this complant site. Hate police auction as much as they say. Then do something about it. Its not hard to over bid. Win the auction. And don't hit pay.if every one on this site did that police auctions will have a bad day i am not telling anyone to do that its just a idea someone gave me. Of course two wrongs don't make a right. There is nothing anyone can do if you change your mind and don't want the item you just won
They have received (4) four payments for (2) two items and refuse to send the items. I have done (3) written notices and (2) two phone calls to no avail. They say the address is not exact as on the card. AND it is. Exact enough to remove money from my debit account. Now they say to try a different card or write a check to hold the item for 14 days. They ALREADY have four payments. Just ask Dan!
Made a huge mistake by buying from this site. I received one of my purchases and have already sent it back, hopefully I will get my money back. The ring that I purchased was cheap rubbish, nothing like the picture or description. I though it was to good to be true so I bet when all the rest of my purchased turn up they will be getting sent back as well.
Today was my first time being on this site and so I end up bidding on 2 items one will end@ 1 am and the other will end tomorrow so far I'm winning. So after reading these disclaimers I will not be paying any of my hard earn money to these scam artists thanks to everyone who posted on this site
Answer: No. Don't waste your money on this fraudelent site.
Answer: I'm reading terrible reviews where people are saying they had jewelry appraised and they are worthless. When you say something is fold or diamonds is that true because I'll send all 7 of my items back if not. You can't deceive or lie to people.
Answer: No you are not getting what you think. They are fake jewelry send back
Answer: Shipping is not free. It has cost somewhere around $9 to ship items but my items were small. The bigger they are, the more expensive the shipping cost.
