Hardly takes a genius to work out the problems
There are too many desperate men way too many men compared to the number of women on POF and that in effect causes the women to start being picky
I looked and only saw women offering very little demanding ridiculous things and saying things like there has to be an attraction or they won't reply or if you only say hello in your first message they would ignore you

They were totally oblivious to the fact they weren't attractive and hadn't put nothing in their profile

Just full of ridiculously picky imperfect women with numerous faults, overweight, unattractive, unintelligent etc etc demanding a perfect guy. 99.99% will still be on here in 5 years as they won't entertain the idea of dating anyone who isn't a perfect 10

Started chatting with a guy... Tim... his profile was all lies. Met him for a date. His profile said he was 5'11" and he was 5'5" when he got out of his car. He had told me he was Shawnee Indian & was raised in OkIahoma. I asked him his last name and he wouldn't tell me until I did a back ground check on his phone number... which is under a womans name. I confronted him about it so he decided to tell me his last name... which is Cantu...& he admitted he is hispanic, he grew up in Garland, Tx. I was willing to go on another date and it went good. Then came the third date. He wanted to come pick me up & go to dinner. Then he said he cleaned the house so I can come over afterwards. I told him if I'm coming over afterwards I'll just meet him at the restaurant then go to his house and leave when the date was over since he had to work the next day. He lost his head and started screaming at me on the phone and said I was going to spend the night. I told him we never agreed on me staying the night or even coming over after dinner. Then he started getting even more upset. So I told him maybe its better we don't go out until he calms down. He said he doesn't care how I feel about anything. I haven't heard from him since. Dodged a weirdo that's for sure.

The first profile I looked at was an unattractive overweight ginger bird with glasses. She put "I've very particular at which kind of men I'm attracted to" I'm like WTF? How can SHE be picky looking like THAT The rest of the site was just as bad. Women who are who legends in their deluded minds thinking they are a real hot property
All the profiles said things like
Don't message me if you can't hold a conversation
Don't message me if you're under 6foot tall
Don't message me if you're looking for one night stand
And on and on and on. Just a list of things you can't be if you want to message them. Nothing at all about what they can give to you. Are they having a freaking laugh?
As if they couldn't be worse most contain swearing too. Such as I'm giving up on this sh*tty site or Tired of twats in tinfoil. Where's my knight in armour.

I'll be blunt here. They're all pigs and dogs and how they have the bloody audacity to sit there like lady of the manor turning their noses up at men is incredible and shows how these sites are full of wack jobs and crazies

This site is full of scammers! Fake profiles, and yes the site itself scams! I get a lot of "someone sent a message emails, go to the site nothing their! I get a lot of someone wants to meet you emails, it's always a fake that tries to get you to sign up for something else that doesn't even have the POF LABEL! One had the POF look to the site I was sent to, but had misspellings! More than likely Ghana! The Ghana scammers are seriously bad! The few profiles you see where the women look attractive, they never answer you! So they're fake. I have even fudged on my profile trying to trick them, no replies! And FYI I have dated models, so I am not ugly! The rest are just skank whore fat $#*! pieces of crap, they couldn't get a date to save their lives. But there are the hookers that try to get you to Go to another site that they claim is from POF that protects them. I think that's called a pimp! If I had a dollar for every minute I've wasted I could go to Russia and find a real bride! I was on match.com before joining POF it also was horrible I should've researched and found that match now owns POF so they're the same bull$#*! site! Forget about customer service I've tried that. You get the same generic email back that has no content as to the complaint I made repeatedly! They simply don't care. Save your money and your time! Gonna try eharmony next, have a feeling I'll be back here posting another!

Freaks oddballs, weirdos, fatties, divorcees, women pulling silly faces and others looking smug, not to mention the numerous fake messages you get when you sign up

Biggest problem is the women are nowhere near as great as they think they are. Distinctly average would be too generous. The vast majority are really rough the type you wouldn't be seen dead with in daylight. Yet check the bio on their profile & they have a 20 point checklist before you can message them lol. And they all have chips on their shoulders and a real attitude all thinking they are some hot property lol
Stick them out in the real world and no man alive would give them a look. Now they are online they think they are some great catch.
My guess is they sign up and men who would date anything message them and they get big headed

Any men messaging these lot needs locking up. Even after 10 pints they wouldn't be attractive. You couldn't find a website full of less eligible women if you tried. Talk about damaged goods

So here is a review from a woman: there are some decent men on the site. But too many are looking for a FWB. Too many expect women to get in a relationship with them instantly, without even seeing if a friendship is possible. And the audacity of separated or partnered men to be on a dating site saying they want a relationship is laughable. There are men on the site, who can't even write a simple sentence, but think that they will have something wonderful and intelligent to say to women with college and university degrees. And as far as looks, again, there are some decent, attractive ones. However, there are a whole lot of men on the site, who need some serious help in presenting themselves attractively. These men are not groomed. Some look like they are related to Santa Claus. Some have not bought any new clothes in a decade. Some wear tee shirts and/or shorts in every picture (I hate the sleeveless tee shirts). Some don't wear any shirts. Nasty things! Some dress like pimps. Some are just down right, low down, trashy looking. A woman interacting with some of these men will experience doubled standards and sexism.

The same women seem to be on there forever with the photos that never age

Every profile is full of demands 'Make me laugh' "messages only saying hi will be deleted" "make an effort in your message" which is laughable because their profile is usually empty and also no way they're hot enough to dare be that picky about what they want. Since when do unattractive women get to call the shots?

I can honestly say I've never seen a site with so many rude aggressive misfits in my life. Doesn't take Einstein to see why they're single

Just a website full of out of shape or old or average looking females all determined to get the prince charming. The females on this site have lost touch with reality and actually think they're princesses

The men have to shoulder some of the blame as well. If they weren't so thirsty messaging anything female with a pulse they wouldn't be so out touch.

The whole thing is a scam. They put you on autorenew without asking or informing you and then when you can't message others because the site refuses to allow contact with others because they only want you to contact people they think you should contact regardless of what people set their filters at this crosses the line to theft by deception.
Then try to get your money refunded because they only allow you to contact people who are 10 years younger and look 30 years older... I refuse to date Zombies or play re-animator sorry...

I had two people message my profile. The first had a headline which read TIMEWASTERS DO NOT MESSAGE ME!
Firstly what kind of impression does that convoy to anyone thinking of sending mail? Why would that be an appropriate headline, hardly says I'm a happy nice person does its. Secondly as if you were a timewaster I seriously doubt by seeing that you would think oh I best not message her. That just screams drama. She was 41 and longest relationship was UNDER year. I see why now

Second one was 38, couldn't be bothered to fill the about me section in and longest relationship was over a year. She put she was other ethnicity despite being White. I'm guessing she didn't get what Caucasian meant

Everytime I browse on POF its the same tired old women with the same photos, month after month, year after year. So you know their photos are out of date. They love to bleat "where are all the decent genuine men?" but that's just bs
They will have received plenty of mail from genuine decent men but they want someone who is ridiculously good looking but they darent put that. They want someone who is stunning on the eye regardless of the fact they are extremely ordinary or even worse

Online dating sends women deluded. A women who is 2/10 becomes adamant they won't settle for anything less than a 9/10 male. And they wonder why they can't get a man. It's totally irrational

And don't get me started on some of the bios they are just rants normally a 20 point checklist that you must adhere to. Must love dogs, must love roadtrips despite the fact they don't drive, must be over 6 foot. Give me a break

The 1st thing I noticed is ALL the women on POF regard themselves as princesses regardless of how old, overweight and rude they are.

I'm 30 and it kept showing me women in their 40s with leather skin, tattoos and more blubber than a whale but the thing that stood out most was how demanding and rude they were in their profile bio. They didnt realise they ain't 20 anymore and they can't be picky and choosy at their age.

So you have unattractive overweight rude women with no social skills and a real attitude problem

I took advantage of their 3 month package deal and only used it for 3 weeks. It was not even worth my time. As you use the site day after day you will notice how different women will message you the same exact responses. You then began to notice something is wrong and you are being jerked off by the company. If you're bored and don't mind scammer / robot love then feel free and spend your cash. Otherwise if you are serious and seeking real love, by pass this site. I give this site

You can tell straight away from the profile of the women that they get inundated with messages from men
They complain they're sick of men sending them 10 messages and not getting the message they're not interested and they also seem to whine alot about d1ck pics they get.
First I have no idea why a man would want to send 10 messages to a woman if she didn't reply to the 1st one and secondly what kind of man sends those d1ck pics? But then you look at their profiles and they call themselves hotbabe69 etc or have photos half naked so really what you expect to get?

Without wishing to be rude the women should be grateful they are getting any messages judging by the attitude they have on the profile. Rude aggressive and unpleasant, why would I even want to message them? Then you have the ones that can't even be bothered to fill the the section about me out and put just ask. Lazy. You ain't going to find the sort of woman you would take home to your parents on here

I was online dating about 10 years ago and was actually okay as not many people were on it but now its useless for men. Every woman wants a white knight to rescue her regardless how old or out of shape she is and it seems to me there must be 300 men for every woman and that's probably being conservative. So if you're a decent guy you'll get ignored anyway due to the sheer numbers of messages the women get

Lots of the profiles I viewed had the woman longest relationship at under a year. That's hardly inspiring confidence either when they're in their late 30s. Do they have issues making them undateable or have they been riding the c*ck carousel for years and finally want to settle down now their looks are going?

From what I've seen the women are not attractive pleasant or sociable enough to demand what they are looking for. They will be still be on here in 20 years. They are getting hundreds of messages and still being uber picky crying 'where are all the decent men?" Its obvious that unless you are a Male model who is 6'5 tall and drives a Porsche then you will be ignored by the women. That would be understandable if they looked like they were cheerleaders of the Dallas cowboys but most look more like the cows

Update from last reveiw, I really find pof.com to be a rip off. I have improved my profile repeatedly to no avail. And the woman that reach out to me are very average looking, a few scary bad AND the one that look good are FWB types. Besides the ones that are even remotely attractive are in japip, usa, so far that to imagine a chance is as remote as jumping to moon. Truly a total joke from my two month experience. Don't bother maybe other websites are better -match? I bet not. I already upped for eharmony and now this pretty dissapointing.

As a paid upgraded member, the benefits POF claims I get don't exist. The only thing it empowers me to do is monitor or stalk other members. Support is non existant. I have not received a response to 3 general inquires I requested 4 weeks ago... Site is full of average, mediocre to less than average people, attitude and diva's. Fake profiles and scammers. The popularity meter in itself is a scam provided by POF to generate revenue for themselves. The matching algorithms are laughable: my matches are WAY out of my criteria.

I was going to join But after reading the pathetic accounts from folk I cannot afford to waste money!
Its all the same bogus men and women. People who have seemingly been around for ages. So they are not getting my monies after all.

Why are there not decent sites offering decent rates plus real people?
Its all hinges on your feelings and if you believe. I dot think it happens its a sham..
