I have had the worst experience with this company. I was really excited for my son to receive his first lego box for his birthday. The box took over 3 weeks to arrive (way past my son's birthday), and had so many missing pieces, that he couldn't even assemble the legos. I sent an email reporting the missing pieces and my concerns with the delayed arrival, and I never received a response from Pley. I tried to cancel my account before the second billing cycle, but had to return the first toy before I could cancel the account. So, although there had been no attempt by Pley to resolve the problem with my first box, I returned the set, and after waiting weeks with no response or acknowledgement from Pley, I looked at my online account. I had been charged another monthly fee while still receiving no communication from Pley! The package I sent included the USPS tracking number provided by Pley. I have no idea what's going on with the package I returned, or my account; and after multiple attempts to contact a representative at Pley, have not heard one single word from them in response. Has anyone else had this problem?!
My niece is the biggest Disney fan. I was excited when I saw this because it's the perfect gift for her, especially since I don't live close by. She loves getting surprised with the pink box on her porch! She's loved every box so far! Keep up the good work!
My daughter is having so much fun with her cyber speed pley box! Easy to assemble, and love to see her having fun with her teen brothers too. Customer service answered my questions within 24 hours. We can't wait to see the next box!
We ordered our his first Hot Wheels box December last year and was able to get it just in time for Christmas. He was very happy with it and enjoyed it thoroughly.
We were gifted this for Christmas and our son loved it so much we decided to subscribe. The box came with a track and several cars and a really cool shirt. We like the quality and love the fact that our son will get a different box every months. We would definitely recommend
I purchased the Hotwheels subscription from them for my 10 year old in December and he really liked it. He wears the t-shirt to school and we had fun putting the tracks together.
Like many others above, I signed up in December and haven't received anything as of February except a credit card charge. No response from customer service after two attempts.
I already have 3 Disney boxes and my daughter loves them. Customer service was able to answer my questions pretty quickly. The contents are definitely worth more than the price of the box. Very satisfied subscriber!
I ordered the Nat Geo Subscription box back in December (guaranteed delivery by Christmas). Long story short, I have not received my box. They have no contact information other than opening a case. I have opened numerous cases and they have responded anywhere from 2 days to 1 week later with nothing but excuses of Christmas delivery was behind, the shipping carrier was behind, gave me a bogus tracking number and now (the newest) is that they moved warehouses and are behind. Sent most recent email to tell them to cancel the subscription and refund my money. Has anyone been able to contact them via phone?
I had membership for more than one year and toys never come on time. And since 11/17 to 01/31 they sent me one toy, but charged all the month.
Please don't get subscription service from them.
Customer service is non existent. Tried to cancel and get a credit but my toy is not showing as shipped back even though it is and the site won't let me cancel! Not a happy customer.
I have never been more disappointed in a service in my life. I pay them 11/22. I don't get my first rental until a month later. I contact them and they ignore me. Then they tell me they moved to a new warehouse and they will get the rental to me. So they haven't mailed it right? THEN CANCEL IT LIKE I REQUESTED! But no... they give me a stupid credit and mail it anyway. I get it. It's missing pieces. They don't explain you have to fill all this junk out before they will acknowledge it's been received. They don't even let you know they HAVE received it. Now it's 1/26. Thus far... I've gotten ONE RENTAL over a TWO MONTH PERIOD WITH CRAPPY SERVICE. Be smart. Don't use them.
We signed up on Dec 3. We have yet to receive a toy and customer service has not responded to 3 emails. They continue to charge our membership despite multiple attempts to cancel our membership. Horrible customer service!
We have been members for a year with no problem. Suddenly, they have not shipped my toy and I cannot get a response from customer service.It has been 6 weeks. I am incredibly frustrated. It has never been a problem before. I am really upset with this company right now.
I ordered on dec. 17 for promised chirstmas delivery. I emailed the company they got back with me a few days later saying it was being shipped but it wasn't there fault it was just the shipping was to busy to keep up... anyways i finally got my box 19 days after i ordered.
I had sent another e-mail checking where my box was and i had never recieved a tracking number. I had never heard back but i recieved my box so i didn't think of it much again. Until today when i recieved this email for customer service saying we recieved your inquiry about your box we see you fot it on dec. 29 sorry it was late... ok so it really take you almost a month to respond to a email.
I also wrote about my bad experience on their facebook and they deleted my post and a few other people said the same thing about them deleting anything negative against them
Also the box we received was not worth the money so i canceled our subscription
I gave it two stars rather than one, because perhaps they will fix my problem. I ordered the Hot Wheels subscription box and it did ship and was delivered according to the tracking number, but I never did get it! I was surprised to see so many negative reviews here. I have ordered countless subscription boxes and never had this happen before. I contacted them on 12/27/17 and they claim that it will take 24-48 hours to respond. It is now 1/8/18 and I have heard nothing! I sent a f/u e mail. If I do not hear from them within the next five days, I am off to my credit card company to dispute the charges. Not sure what is going on, but the Christmas rush has died down, there is no reason for it to take this long. Maybe they are going under...
Pley sounds good in theory, but in reality they make a lot of guarantees and false promises, but deliver nothing. They provide no contact information besides a web form that they don't respond to, so after they take your money and run you are basically out of luck. Please stay far, far away from this company.
Ordered a Nat Geo subscription box for my son for Christmas. Placed order on 11/17/17. Paid for it and was placed on a "waitlist" UNTIL I shared my purchase on social media. On 12/18, I contacted Pley about where the box was and was told there were mass shippings going out during the week and was provided a Tracking Number for my box once it shipped. It is 12/24 and I still do not have the box and the tracking number hasn't been activated. I notice that that according to the website, new orders placed by 12/19 were guaranteed Christmas delivery. Not impressed by customer service or commitment.
Ordered the Hot Wheels subscription box for my son. They claimed it would be here 12.21.2017. Great, not essential for Christmas, not counting on it for Christmas, but a nice bonus. Contacted them on 12.21.2017 after never receiving tracking information. Was rudely met with being questioned why i didn't just check my email (the one i never received) or my account, which i was contacting them from that was not updated with any shipping information. The tracking information was incorrect, both number and shipping company. Once corrected I found no information on shipping, because they haven't touched the package yet. Was told it wasn't coming in time. No apology for the delay. After hammering the point home that they are not meeting expectations they finally just agreed that their shipping falls short of expectations and "needs work". Proceed with caution, avoiding like the plague is recommended.

I have contacted them via email, which is the only way, and have got zero response. I filed a disputes to the membership charge with my credit card company. Then I filed an official complain at BBB. BBB is undergoing a formal investigation on them. I hope hat there will be some constructive results.
