Too bad I can't give zero stars. I had a credit in my account that disappeared. Trying to call Google Play customer service is like talking to a wall. First, you can barely understand them. Then after a full 15 minutes (no exaggeration) of them "authenticating" my account, they tell me that my credit expired. WHAT? Then, trying to get a supervisor on the phone is impossible. They tell you someone will call back (total lie). By far the most frustrating customer (non) service experience I've ever had. They are so many great subscription services. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu... I'm a happy subscriber to all of them. GOOGLE PLAY ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! Don't waste your time or money
I should of said something before, but Google play store seem to have games that seems to copy others. Most of them are like bootleg knock offs of some games I played in the 90's and early 00's. You look for one particular game and always got the bootleg version. Step your game up Google

Google neglected to vet a developer, and as a result, they have been providing no support for their in-app players, and reports go un checked. Players are subjected to harassment and then are ignored when reporting to the developers. I requested a refund for all in-app purchases. And was met with a rude Google Play representative named Judy. I requested a survey and was not provided one. I attempted to connect to the chat again and was met with rep nicklaus and requested a survey and was ignored. Then my support chats would no longer connect. They blocked me out of the Google play support system. I would like to speak with legal in regards to this.
Noted the flaws and bugs of an app in a constructive criticism way, but Google's new automated systems even takes that as too agressive and it's now useless to state why on the low score ad it wasn't "friendly enough". So writing a text review is now useless.
Google Play breaks into people's financial account's. Stealing your money out of your bank account. I had to cut off my bank account card information, dispute transactions that I didn't which I was not aware of. When I try to notify Google they charged me even more money without my authorization, or even my Knowledge.
If you try to contact them, please be advised that they will steal more money out of your account since they already have your account information on their files.

As I speak right now,right now as I'm typing, there is pop-up blogs that keeps interrupting my phone calls, internet searches, etc from Google Play Telling me that my phone have a virus when my phone is BRAND New.

Do not purchase gift packs of google play cards. They are made cheaply, with paper cards, so when the sticker is removed to redeem code the code tears off with the sticker.
They Do Not refund for the faulty products and you will just waste money.
Just another typical biased big tech company who only cares about $$ and control. I can't access any app they don't like. They have bull$#*! excuses while an app like CashApp who continues to steal from people is allowed.
Even as I was paying monthly on my app, they were still charging me weekly as well. When I noticed, they advised that I didn't meet their refund policy. What a joke...even after I stopped the weekly debit, they still taking my money... have to toss my credit card and get a new one and my advice is never add your card to google.
Been buying in game purchases for years and reached the platinum level so a perk is you get a box to open every week gives you up to 100 points wich is 1.00 dollar so I've kept track for the last 24 months mist points 6 which is 6 cents my average is 3 cents be advised my total spent over 2 years was 4,564 dollars. What a joke and insult to give pennies to someone spending that much. Google a greedy scam like the rest
For over 10 months Google charges me $4.99 to $10.99 a month. Sometimes twice a month. I can not use my debit card on my Google account but someone I don't know can. I tried many times to get this fixed but can't. I even tried getting a new card but it cost $50 which I do not have because Google is letting a stranger take my money. I just want them to remove my card from the other account or accounts that are not mine. It's been over 10 months trying to get them to stop charging me for other people's Google accounts.
Google Play charged me for a purchase the day after I had already requested to cancel the payment! And yet they have the nerve to charge me and state that they will not give me a refund. What kind of bull$#*! is that? I cancelled my purchase request and yet they still went ahead and charged me the day after I requested to cancel the payment.
On 5 july 2023 rented a movie in Google Play. Due to system errors I could not see it ( the film did not appear on the library) Support group could not fix the problem and reimbursement was refused 0n 15 July. No explanation was provided
Purchased content within a game that didn't meet my expectations and requested a refund under 48 hours of purchasing. They took a day to get back to me and stated the refund request did not meet their policy. Ridiculous.
I purchased an app yesterday morning on Google Play. It's purchased directly on Google Play, not an in-app purchase. Then I found the app not working as expected, so I requested a refund right away and that was just a few hours after the purchase. According to Google Play's refund policy, the refund window is 48 hours, thus that refund should be eligible. But Google Play refused to issue the refund, and their customer support kept telling me to read their refund policy, and also kept mistaking that my purchase was an in-app purchase. Then today, after having contacted with several of Google Play's online support reps, I was told that my money had been sent to the developer and that I had to ask the developer for the refund. I have told Google Play that I had contacted the developer but received no response, but Google Play doesn't care. And even until now, it's still under 48 hours after the purchase. I have used Google Play since the Market time some twenty years ago but Google Play has now become extremely discouraging and disappointing!
After more than a dozen emails and online chats, Google still repeatedly denied their fault and refused to offer the refund. Their Customer Support staff were still ignorant about their return policy's guidelines. Finally I got hold of the app's developer and he helped by initiating the refund for me. Now I have got my refund, but Google still owe me an apology and an explanation of why my refund request was turned down.

If I could give no stars I would. Why in the hell would you allow an app called spoofing in your Google play store. I am a business owner and they got my business number to go around trying to scam people out of money. This app is bull$#*!. You need to take that app down. I bought two $50 Google Play gift cards. The first one I bought I went to redeem, and it said that I had to redeem it in the country that I bought it in. I live in the United states, I bought it in the United states, I went to use it in the United states. I argued with Google about this and I had to send in a receipt and a copy of the card. I figured it would be a couple days, so I went and bought another $50 card at a different store. Again, in the United States. And the same results. It would not let me redeem it because it said I had to use it in the country that I bought it in. I sent receipt and copy of the card to Google over and over again and they refused to honor it. Now I am out $100 and they have $100 of my money. And they refuse to make good on it. I will not be buying Google cards again for any reason. It is a buyer beware sort of thing when you buy from Google that's all I can say!
I purchased a gift card for $100 and when I went to redeem it it's not working the receipt from the store says activated so I called Google Play customer service and it doesn't work I don't know who to reach about this matter the store won't give me a refund even though I have the receipt because it's a gift card does anybody know another number I can call I feel like I just had $100 stolen from me
The customer service number says call back during business hours and when I call back it's the same recording even during those hours is there any live customer service I can talk to you and the number I would appreciate it thank you it's a Google play gift card

Answer: It's a legit company just not as secure as we are lead to blelive they should be checking apps before adding them to the playstore and if they are checking them upon entry their should also be random checks to see what the apps do on our phone and to ensure the developer hasn't made changes to the app that affect their consumers.
