I bought 2 fitbits through google play-they came with 6 months free premium subscription. But google play took $14.99 after just 3 months and are refusing to refund. Just as well I noticed early or it would of been more. They are thieves. BTW a 1 star review because 0 is not available, shocking service.
Horrible customer service. They don't care about fraudulent purchases made off of devices. So be careful because you will eat the money going through them. $160 in 5 minutes my bank even flagged it and shut down all debt cards. But Google said $#*! YOU basically. The girl I talked to even said yes luckily you called ASAP. Because it is pending we can do something about it. NOPE 3 days later they let it go through. And said oh sorry we can't do nothing about it. Will be going back to Apple as soon as my phone contracts are up. Never had Horrible costumer service with Apple. First time I had to contact Google and it was a huge $#*! you basically.

I been using Google Play Cards for years in the past 2 week when trying to make a in game purchase it is declined. I contacted the Help Center multiple time and they say I need to wait 48 hrs. By this time the purchase I wanted to make has expired. Can't I get a real person to fix the problem

Just a good app source for android devices... It has almost everything, and I say "almost" as there`s nothing perfect, this one has lots of useless apps too. But if you know what you`re searching for - everything is ok.
Purchased play cards from Walmart. Every time I have to wait days for them to review the receipt, and eventually I get what I paid for. Which is bad enough.
Not this time. All I get is a response saying that they won't help me. Save your money, go with apple or something. Google gets away with robbing people.
This company gets you hooked on playing their games by sending you a link for free points, then when you make purchases they literally steal your money, giving you very little bonuses on the games and low pay out points, until you run out and want to play more. That is stealing and taking advantage of an addiction they are creating and offering you nothing in return, but another link for a few more points so you will continue to purchase more. There should be a class action lawsuit against them, and they should be made to give back everything they've stolen.
If you are thinking to buy an app to try within Google Play's 48-hour criteria on its refund policy, don't do it. Like many reviews on this site and others say, they will refuse without telling you why. If you did buy with a credit card, use email to politely ask for a refund, get their refusal in writing, then dispute the charge with your credit card company.
I am only 10 so I have a child's account and for some reason it made me go through over an hour of security just to be able to pay for something in a game, then we bought a ten pound gift card and wasted our money since it didn't let us even use it
I'm new to gaming started a game and it said Google play verified and recommended. Spent fair bit of money to catch up with other players then realised the devs never respond constant issues with game. One player asked devs for refund and they blocked his account. Then other players found out about it and left the game now the game is dead only 1 or 2 people there lol but they are leaving now also. I was refused any kind of refund from devs so I asked Google play for some kind of refund as I can't continue to play the game even though I invested so much into it. Google play refused to give me anything. Shame really such a good game devs destroyed it :( so anyone new like me do not listen to Google play verified etc they are not going to protect u in anyway same as devs there just for the money. I understand why it is under the "music" category but for me personally this service is not about the music at all! As a constant Android user its the main source of getting all sorts of apps and I`d say it has loads of those for any purpose you might imagine. Also has some developers who try to promote complete sh*t but those are moderated I guess.
My wife discovered that someone spent over 1400£ on coins for a game downloaded from Google play. We don't know who was but perhaps a child. We asked for a refund within 48 hours but Google replied it's against their policy and we should contact the developer. The developer in their website says purchases are normally not refundable. That can be legal but certainly isn't fair
We bought a Google Play card for our son for his stocking. Thankfully, it was only $10.00. When he scratched off the card, the code came off as well. We contacted customer service and they told us they were not responsible for "damaged cards." Even though we provided a sales receipt and the original card info, they refused to help. Can't help feeling they took advantage of us and stole our money. I won't be buying a Google Play card again. I'm shocked that stealing $10 from a kid was worth more than our business to them.
I have four $1.00 holds on my card, I can't see what they were for and when I reached out for help, the guy kept repeating himself, would tell me he understood and then looked up the transaction history and tried saying they were for purchases back in 2022 and those purchases were made on a completely different card and bank account. He came up with whatever he could to falsely resolve the issue. I haven't used google play since the beginning of 2023 when I had to switch phones. I'm livid.
Stay away... robbed of 120 quid with no explanation... shocking company! Bought a card x 2 occasions that wouldn't work get a no reply email basically stating my concern is not eligible for appeal. No explanation
Google play took the ability for me to download gab and parler away. I can only download social media apps that google controls impeding competition thereby controlling free speech and the message of china takeover.
