I would have got in contact with the help desk on about 10 occasions seeking help in install and upgrading pixel film products, and then also technical questions when i have struggled work out an a feature. Every time i have got a reply in 24 hours, and they are genuinely happy to help and have fixed the issues each time in one email. Sensational. The 4 products i own are also amazing... so 10/10 for service and product

I had an error message for a plug in not being compatible with my M1 Mac, and was getting a red screen trying to use the tracker. Support chat helped fix my issues with very easy instructions and in less than 5 minutes! Very impressed with the service.

I have been using PixelFilmStudios for a while, and I've always loved their products. They're easy to use, easy to install, and they offer excellent quality!

I struggled all day trying to search the internet for an answer, tried everything and failed. I tried the Autobot on the PixelFilms website as it was out of hours. I got a response within 2 hours giving me a code to find the files and asked to send a screenshot. I now accessed LIVECHAT and just attached the screenshot and was given the answer immediately.
I followed the instructions and my problem was solved - time 2 minutes!

I was turned on to these Plugins a few years ago and told that 'With FCPX and a few plug-ins from Pixel you can rule the world'. I don't rule the world, but clients love my edits. And that's the important part. Customer service is top-notch and the plug-ins are fantastic.

Installed a plug in and received the common red screen in FCP. The standard steps in the guide didn't help and I was getting frustrated. Joined the online chat support and they fixed it right up for me! As someone who's sat through plenty of agonizing tech support experiences, this one was exceptional! Thanks!

UPDATE 02/23/2022: I followed the responder's suggestions ans was able to solve the issue. Much appreciated, was solved quickly. I changed the rating 4 stars now, still find the website difficult to navigate when needing help. But appreciate the response!

I installed M1 chip updated plugins but I still get message when I open FCP that plugins need to be updated. Impossible to find any help on PFS site. They also limit number of downloads on plugins so if you change computers or need to re-install plugin you will eventually need to purchase another license. Overall plugins have not worked well in FCP, very slow and lag from hell. One star is too generous for these folks due to lack of support.

Live agents are available Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM PST to speak with you in real time. Or if you're not able to come in at that time, you can leave an email ticket with our chatbot at any time. An agent will be able to answer your ticket during business hours. Please note that if you do not receive a response in 48 hours that you may need to double check your spam folder in your email.
The Download limit can be reset by customer service. You do not need to repurchase a plugin that has hit a download limit. We currently have this measure in place to prevent website piracy.
The message you are seeing does not affect your ability to use the plugin. This appears because the plugins are both compatible with Intel and M1 systems, so they install both versions of the apps during the installation. You can contact customer service to show you how to remove these items, or you can click "don't show again" in the window.

2 years ago I bought about $128 of Pixel Film studio software. It worked at first on my 2012 Mac Mini with mojave then one day POOF! No joy, all my plugins stopped working! I reached out to Pixel support and they informed me that they no longer were supporting my mac or mojavie but instead were re tooling everything for the new M1 chip. Well I wasn't planning on getting a new computer at taht time but a bout a year later while waiting on endless render times with my slow old mac I though, well what the heck. I got a 2020 Mac mini M1 with Monterey, 16 gig ram and 1 TB SSD. Tried to reinstall my plugins bu no joy>> Kept getting that annoying RED screen of death! You know the one> Well I again reached out to Pixel Film Studio support and got the delightfully helpful Chloe. She not only was supper helpful in getting me the missing FX plugin folder I was missing in my install path, she looked up fonts and control surface work a rounds that I was dealing with after I was able to successfully get all my plug ins to finally work. Chloe you saved my faith in not only Pixel Film Studio products but in humanity its self. Good costumer service seems to be a thing of the past now a days but not with Chloe. Thank you so very much!

Most issues can be resolved pretty quickly with all the right information. It always helps to have some screen shots of your Mac Specs and FCPX Version number as well as some screenshots or a screen recording of the issue.
