I absolutely adore the clothes from this business, but this business itself is horrible. Order something in April it's now July and have yet to receive it. They haven't responded to my emails and according to their rules on their FB page, you can't ask about orders on there. If you try to ask via FB page your comment gets deleted OR the admin turns off the comments on said post.
If I ever get my items, this will be the very last purchase I make with them.
I ordered several dresses in early October. Kept two of them and sent the rest back. The company owes me nearly $1,000 in credit and they have suddenly stopped communicating. They will hear from my attorney next week.
Love the clothes! Worst customer service ever! I don't know how many dresses I have from this company but this month my husband has ordered me five in total one he made a mistake on and got the wrong size even though I had the tags on it they told me they would not take it back that I was stuck with it! All I wanted was an exchange or even a credit on my account! Unbelievable
This is like a weird shadow company, like ordering off of an Instagram story. They have no customer service people, no phone number to call, emails go into the ether, returns are never processed. I've known about them for ages and know that girls used to be able to get dresses here but now it's just not a real site to order from. I ordered two sizes of same dress and wound up returning both because the fit was so odd. Took forever to get someone to answer me about returning. Paid for shipping back. No refund. No answer to emails. No one ever available to chat. And then as a final eff you to someone who spent money, was blocked from the facebook group which is the only place to reach the owner. Blocked for describing my issue and asking for help. RIP PUG
I love the clothing but customer service is abhorrent. I placed an order over a month ago and haven't received any updates. Every time I have ever emailed customer service, they only always answer with what seems to be a robot generated response. For what it costs, I expect customer service to be top notch and it falls well below expectations. They claim to be an all inclusive group but the admins on their Facebook come across as bullies. So disappointed to the point that I will be selling most of my collection.
As others have said customer service is lacking. The items are over priced too. I purchased something that said it was back ordered till October. October came and went with no update to I contacted them on November asking when the item would be shipped and if there wasn't a projected ship date to please refund me. They never even gave a projected ship date they just said they would refund but then it took a week for that to even happen. Had to contact them again about the refund before received it. This company has really gone down hill. Use to love them but think this will be my last purchase with them.
I have to unfortunately report a similar bad experience to other users. Using the size guide, I ordered a dress online and received it only to find it was way too small. I paid for it to be returned, as is their policy, and had no response. I finally called and left a message, and got an email response that they could not accept the return due to stains on the garment. I asked for pictures of the stains and received 5 pictures without any noticeable stains. They wrote that I could pay for the garment to be returned to me if I wanted. This business should be shut down.
This place is awful and I have never had more of a terrible experience with anything clothing place until now. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I ordered a green Beatrix gown. It didn't fit right and the quality was awful so I sent it back and paid for shipping. It was delivered two days later on 11/22. Didn't hear back and contacted them on 12/2. They said they got it and would do an inspection. Two weeks goes by and nothing. I emailed twice in the two weeks. Finally heard back and they said it didn't pass inspection? I tried this dress on for 5 minutes... they said it had an odor? They are liars. Then they said they would send me the dress back at my expense. Don't waste your money. The dress was cheap and not the money I paid for. I'm all about reviews and want to buy from trusted sources. I will never buy from this place again. They are not to the trusted. Terrible company. Go somewhere else.
I placed an order for a dress on may 12th and was emailed that I would be receiving a tracking number within 5 business days. I logged into my PUG account and emailed from their Contact Us form, I emailed twice and both times my email was ignored. I reached out to their IG account and was told they don't handle customer service issues. I emailed them directly TWICE, I called all their numbers on file including the number on their Better Business Page and was ignored or the numbers were not working. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, they emailed and said I was added to a refund list but have not yet received a refund. I'm so annoyed by their complete lack of customer service. Very shady. Even emails from their customer service don't include the name of the representative emailing. VERY SHADY. This is what scam companies do.
They have the absolute worst customer service in the history of CS. I was issued a refund because I asked for an update on a preorder from May 2023. I asked Jan 29th 2024…. I did not authorize the refund. I wanted the dresses. This is not the first time this has happened. They did this with a pair of shoes I had ordered that were out of stock. I have never known if a business that freely gives money back. I asked to talk to a manager and was given the run around via email. They clearly use chatbot so as it was a canned response. I asked to talk to Christopher 4 times. He repeatedly evaded my requests. To offer me a 20% off discount for my next order. No thank you. Also currently the full site is 30% off. They offer more items from resellers than their own. And a lot of the items can be found for less money on SHEIN Torrid and Alliexpress. Do not buy from them. You gamble with your sanity when you do.

I purchased 2 tops and a skirt from them for a function. 10 days after tops delivered I called about the skirt. They had literally forgotten to mail the skirt. I told them it was too late for my function and I needed to return everything. They shipped the skirt anyway. Even through they screwed up, I had to pay to ship the tops back ($12). They threatened to not refund my money because they tops were received in 15 days instead of the 14 in their return policy. Even though the return was due to their mistake. I received the skirt and shipped it back. All items were returned in original packaging and it still took a total of 10 weeks to get my refund, minus shipping costs. So THEIR MISTAKE cost me $30.
I will go naked at Dapper Days in Disney World before I ever visit their site again.
Just a terrible experience. I can't even be bothered typing out the whole thing, I'm so done with these people. Just take it from me and all the other reviewers here, PinupGirlClothing are dishonest, arrogant and have no respect for their customers.
The dresses are priced way too high for what you get. Bad fabrics, crooked seams, unpredictable sizing, high shipping, and terrible customer service. I don't understand how they are still in business. There are plenty of choices out there for retro clothing, including custom stuff on Etsy. PUG is not worth it. Nothing ever fits right and they don't care about their customers.
No or slow response to email. Had to return a dress where not only do I have to pay for the shipping, but they also take an additional $8.25 off my refund for what?!

In short, tried several times to make contact with them regarding an issue and received no response. Continued being tenacious until eventually they did reply, only to initially totally fob-off any responsibility.
This is a company that exudes arrogance and is only interested in getting the customers dollar, no matter what. They are either the most incompetent bunch of buffoons ever trying to operate a business, or calculating low rent crooks. Either way, shop with them at your peril!
Order another Monica dress in a different color but it didn't fit. Sent it back & haven't heard back from them. Called for an update & here we are 30 days later-they're telling me it didn't pass inspection. They will send you pictures of a random dress telling you it's yours.My only option is to pay for them to ship me the dress or a 50% refund. If your clothes don't fit they will commit fraud & get AWAY WITH IT. Buy at your own peril. They lost a good customer. Disgraceful.
I returned two dresses, never got credit for them. They don't respond to any contact and forget calling them. They never answer, it goes to a mail box, that is always full. Do not buy from this company, a total rip off!
I ordered a swimsuit from them in the hopes that it might fit my very large chest. I went with a Large but it was still too tight. I called customer service and they gave me instructions on how to exchange it. I can only speak from my own experience, but I didn't have any of the issues others claim to have had. The swimsuit is also excellent quality. If it can hold up to my 34DDDs, it's strong enough for just about everyone.
Absolutely awful, ordered a dress that did not fit and decided to return it. I called and emailed customer service the day I got it and no one got back to me. Had to call someone to get and RA number (you have to pay to return any items you don't want). Because of the poor customer service, the dress did not make it back to them within 14 days, and I was stuck with credit. I will not be ordering from them again after this.
I placed a large order from Australia. I had measured myself but i was shocked to find that when i tried on the clothes i couldnt get anywhere near to doing them up. They are about 2 sizes too small. So i wanted to send them back but despite all my emails i have not even had a polite response from them. I am disgusted with their very poor customer service and the fact that i am stuck with clothes that do not fit. I will never buy from them again and urge you to boycott them also especially if you do not live the States.
