They do not answer your emails.
They do not answer your PM's.
They do not answer your chat box messages.
They do not answer your comments under FB posts.
They simply do not care about customer service at all so make sure that if you are going to buy something that it is the absolute perfect size and item and do not expect any correspondence at all if there is a quality or sizing issue.
I have returned an item for a refund and there is no sign of any money transfer taking place. And no contact at all from the company.
Also the 15% off your first item purchased offer if you sign up for emails is a fraud, I did this and no voucher or offers were sent, and again, no response to correspondence.
I have had to resort to contact via consumer protection, which is ridiculous.
If they have shut up shop due to covid or something they should make this clear on their social media and website so that customers are not left in limbo.
Clearly they do not value their customers nor need your money.
Plenty of other brands out there who do.
I had to email and contact them 5 WHOLE $#*!ING TIMES for them to "finally" refund my order...WHICH THEY NEVER EVEN DID...I waited 1 whole month to get my item, it never even left them. Had to contact them 5 times with them STRAIGHT UP IGNORING ME THE 4TH TIME, and again lying to me about taking action the 5th time. This is absolutely unbelievable. DONT BUY FROM THEM
I have been shopping with this company over 10 years. I started off going to their warehouse for sales and then eventually their online presence grew and I could buy online. It's always been an easy seamless experience and I've never needed to exchange. I follow the size guide and I follow the other fans of the brand and know which items are true to size, ones to size up or down on. Not everything is made of the same material, cut or lining. Some items are very structured which makes the item look so stunning. I have always received my packages within 3 days normal shipping through FedEx.
Customer service has always been prompt and courteous. The owner has always been accessible to the customers and tries to make everything to a high standard. I enjoy the fun fabrics, sexy silhouettes, and high quality this brand offers. It's my #1 go to brand. I have never had any issues and am surprised to read some of these comments.
Just want to add that most brands have very low resale value if you ever want to sell. Pinupgirl however will get you at least half of what you paid. Can't say that for any other brands minus desiger labels.
I ordered several dresses in early October. Kept two of them and sent the rest back. The company owes me nearly $1,000 in credit and they have suddenly stopped communicating. They will hear from my attorney next week.
The dresses are priced way too high for what you get. Bad fabrics, crooked seams, unpredictable sizing, high shipping, and terrible customer service. I don't understand how they are still in business. There are plenty of choices out there for retro clothing, including custom stuff on Etsy. PUG is not worth it. Nothing ever fits right and they don't care about their customers.
I used to LOVE this site and shopped quite frequently then something happened in the past year where their customer service took a nose dive. I'd find items in my cart I never put there or the site wouldn't work at all. Their online support was absolutely no help. It was as if someone hacked my account. In addition to that they NEVER keep enough common sizes in stock and sell out immediately. Unless you are an extra small or 2x good luck ever getting a chance to buy anything. Whoever is in charge of their purchase orders is an idiot. In addition, if you send anything back to be returned you receive NO confirmation if that return was received. I no longer have any incentive to buy from them.
The owner does not allow negative comments about her products on the Facebook group. The owner does not allow comments about other clothing or other websites (Instagram, Pinterest) on the Facebook group. The owner blocks and removes people from the Facebook group for violating these terms, so if a user, say, posts a photo of themselves in a PUG shirt but a different pair of pants, the post will be taken down and in all likelihood the user will be banned.
So there aren't a lot of places I can say that the clothing is just not well made. The fabric is cheap--thin, threadbare, stretches out. The construction is not good--despite having a size chart, clothing tends to run 1-2 sizes up or down from what it should. How? If a pair of pants you call an XL normally has a 36" waist, they should have a 36" waist. If you produce an XL and it somehow has a 32" waist or a 40" waist, you need to call that a different size.
I have never bought clothing from Pinup Girl that was the size it claimed to be.
They don't really take returns or exchanges. The prices are exorbitant for how poorly the clothing is made. They police their reviews on Facebook and their website so you can't actually tell anyone how the products are made. If you bring up any of this in the Facebook group, you get explicitly told how much they don't care about customer feedback.
Scammers. Big time. I ordered a dress to the tune of 200.00. Recieved it in mail... tried it on... jumped through all the hoops... paid the shipping and sent dress back VERY next day. Tracking showed dress was returned. With in a few days. No refund. I have been emailing... live customer supporting ect... still no refund. You can't call... don't bother. The number has a full message box and you can not talk to a live person or even leave a message. I have bought thousands of dollars from this company. Clothes are great. This has been my only return to this company. After a month still no refund. I'm very sure I'm screwed out of 200.00 DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I repeat... do not buy from this company. Want a great retro dress? Amazon has them. 30.00... and the return process is so easy. Pinup girl is a scam artist with returns. Order at your own risk. I truly feel a class action lawsuit should be opened on this company. Too much if our money has been kept by them.
I spent over $500 for dresses that did not fit for a refund on October 15,2019. Left several messages, sent emails and as of today November 11,2019 no return phone call, email or refund. This company is horrible. I'm out of $500 and PayPal just refunded my out of pocket shipping cost that I had pay to return the items. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Worst experience I've ever had. Customer service was by far the, pardon the french, sh*ttiest I've ever had. I asked to cancel the order before it was ever sent, they ignored me. I sent it back immediately. Shortly after they told me they hadn't received it yet and it was still processing. Soon short thereafter, they said it didn't fall upon their 14 day return policy because they "didn't get it in time." Save your money, put it in a business that actually will take care of you. Don't support jerks like this.

I went through quite a PUG phase a couple of years ago and bought hundreds of dollars worth of clothing (all directly from the website, no seconds or PUG "yardsale" items). Over the course of a year I bought dresses, shirts, skirts, and pants. I can honestly say I only ever wear two of the items I bought. Although I like the fabric quality of all the clothes, every item has some flaw (poorly sewn seam, slight ripple in the cloth, bulging pockets, slightly uneven hem) or strange thing about the fit. I look back and can't believe I invested so much money in PUG clothing. When I first noticed the little flaws, I tried to ignore them, as the returns/exchange process with this company is expensive and onerous. Unfortunately, the flaws would bug me everytime I put on the clothes so I just stopped wearing them. Quality control seems to be a major issue with PUG, and for the price, the clothes really arent worth it. (Expensive) lesson learned, I won't buy from here again.
The ladies that work in customer service are the worst. I really think they could give a crap about anyone who spends their money there. The customer servicr manager is an old hag who is rude and talks over you. Theg rip you off during shipping and return process.
1st time and last time customer oh and the sizing is wayyyyyy off. Do our self a favor never support this horrible business.
I can't believe this company DOES NOT CARE about their customers! It's so hard to get an answer to a simple question about anything here and when they do answer you, it's short and clipped and the arrogance shines through.

SHADY, SHADY, SHADY... DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER! I've had a credit with them for over a year now $160.00. Can find nothing we want, so we decided we will just buy a few purses just to get my money back. Will the purses have been on backorder for as long as I can remember... I nor my daughter will be shopping here again... And believe me I tell everyone do not order from this company! I've contacted the Business Bureau in California for help after reading the sites reviews, I'm not the only one they have refused to issue a credit.

Hard to believe that after spending thousands of dollars, you are no longer good enough to spend your dollars at a company. After many years of support and positive experiences, this place has taken a nose dive and no longer values customers. I expressed serious dissatisfaction with the rudeness, lack of customer service, and quality of their products last November. This was met with no explanation or apology, just snarky push back from this woman who is an "admin" on their Facebook group. Now, months later, I am kicked out of the group. Why? Because I disagreed with the owner on this forum. The owner refers to herself as "Supreme Overlord". That right there should have been a red flag. She just posted this video, sobbing about bullies, saying she was closing the store down for good. Well, guess what! I'm the panic dog closing, her poor customers must've all bought enough of her poor quality product to keep the lights on! She's not closing! What a scam. This isn't just my personal dissatisfaction. Tons of customer service, quality, and complaints about how rude and miserable the owner is have been coming to light more and more. Just look at that lawsuit with her former employee (which is public, btw). Laura is a con artist and I highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere - unless you feel like being "curated".
