This is if ridiculous! I am a new user. Saved a couple of pins got suspended- then they reactivated my account. Then I got suspended AGAIN... without me dong any activities. I am done with this. Don't waste your precious time.
I just closed my Pinterest account, which I used to enjoy, because of all the swearing in the comments by disrespectful and inconsiderate people who don't think about anyone else. I then emailed Pinterest to ask them to disable the comments feature as it's a big negative. I am hoping that other people will do the same to get the message through to Pinterest.
Attempted to log in and denied due to cancellation of account. No explanation given. Was told explanation would be sent via email. No explanation received. I know one might think that porno was pinned, but nothing like this was ever pinned. Still have no idea why account was cancelled nor was I given any opportunity to appeal. This could just be an error but am not even allowed to ask.
Pinterest has started scrambling my board's, so I have stayed off. I don't have an easy answer for anyone having this problem. Year's ago Pinterest was fantastic, you could message friend's, they would tell you when someone liked your Board's,You could arrange your board's the way you liked.I do think that because of the constant porn they took a tough stance and have gone a little too far the other way.Just my opinion. To the lady having this problem, I would just boycott them alltogether until they change back.
I used to love Pinterest, but I have to say I'm really starting to hate it. The pop-up advertisements are taking over and really making my experience unenjoyable. Ads which cover the majority of the photos or blogs, which take forever to load and freeze the page, and not just one time, but multiple times on the same article or blog. It's out of control. Do an unobtrusive side bar, if you must, that doesn't freeze the page or make it load slowly and let us get back to enjoying your site.
Try it for whatever interests you the most in life, in the world of Things. Cars, artwork. Best feature is quick save of most things you see on the internet so you have instant photofile.
My SOLE complaint, they do send you suggested pins you might like every day, but I often find something there that I DO like. I find it invaluable, and have only some thousand images on my "boards" so far. A really deep-end artist could spend days seeking and finding inspiration. And, no, i do not own stock, am not an employee or agent--just use it and LIKE it.
Was good a few years ago. Then they started messing with the format, saturating it with useless ads that don't match any of my interests and locking accounts. Got tired of contacting customer support with no response. Awful. No wonder they're losing subscribers and scrambling to monetize it. Was a good idea which is now poorly executed.
A great idea with atrocious execution. Never seen anything that should be so simple and straight-forward FUBAR'ED ($#*!ed Up Beyond All Recogintion) so badly. Want to create a board and put some pictures on it? Too bad for you! THAT'S going to require a tutorial. The morons that made this website obviously don't know the meaning of 'intuitive': the Number 1 requirement for any website, ever. Since 1999. If people need instructions on how to use your site, you $#*!ed up.
I opened an account several years ago because a search engine sent me to a Pinterest site and I was required to open an account to view it. I have rarely gone back to Pinterest and really do not see any value in it. Now that I have learned how they manipulate searches to drive traffic to push the companies political and cultural values, I have deleted my account. I encourage all users and advertisers to stop doing business with this mockery to free speech and opinion.
I have noticed that it is becoming very political (both sides). And it seems like every3 pins I go to are no longer there; or even nothing to do with what was pictured.
Getting to big. Will DELETE soon I am sure
So pinterest is $#*!. I try to be myself and be confident as a 15 year old girl and post pics of me, sometimes in my swim suits and they always deactivate my account which makes me feel ugly and worthless. Like is it not okay you know. So pinterest stop deactivating my account!
I reviewed the Pinterest terms when I signed up and re-reviewed them after receiving a notice of suspension. I have many personal and business ideas pinned that I am suddenly unable to access. Rather than some form of summary suspension, it would be courteous to be contacted about the potential concerns to see if suspension is warranted first. I find it insulting to be suspended without notice or specific reason. If this is going to be a practice, then I have little reason to participate in this community.
Lots of teaching and helpful articles are available in the site that can improve ones way of seeing the world. What am trying to say is that the site/business sparks the creativity hidden inside ones mind. It help make your hobbies your talents and If you are finding it difficult to choose what your to go for being around the site help you come to a decision. Believe the site is worth checking out...
I've been unsubscribing from this page about 3 weeks in a row and I get notifications every day! Every other I kept unsubscribing, but I keep getting them anyways, which made me think that this is Scammer Page. It never became a drag to unsubscribe from any mail sent to me! I think you can do better, unless you guys are actually scammers. Next email will be to the Better Business Bureau.
I HATE it. If you do a basic google/Bing search for DIY or what every you need, a darn Pinterest link is bound to show up. So you click on the link it takes you to Pinterest but doesn't show you what you clicked on. Instead hundreds of similar other crap appears making you waste time looking for what you need. Then when you find it and click on the picture, it takes you on yet another goose chase! After spending an hour search... I gave up went back to me original search from google, saved the picture and did a image search. Took me right to where I needed to go.
My notification light is always lit, showing me what people I don't even know have pinned. Yet my family and close friends... nothing. I takes me DAYS to find things they've sent me. Make it easier to find that! And give me the freedom to turn off notifications for certain people.
I used to love Pinterest. That was when I had control over my designs and my order, i. E. putting boards in a series. Suddenly they were all over the place and made no sense. They won't stay in the places I put them and instantly flip back to the random and ugly design of some thoughtless programmer.
It's a great site I enjoy it. Problem is my old hacked account still remains from years ago and I can't do anything about it. I was using it one day and then one day I logged and found new boards of something random to do with health. I tried to delete them and nothing. I mailed Pinterest and then I was unable to ever log back in for some strange reason. I really want that account gone!
Things are disappearing from my boards. Then when I go to search them it says it's saved to my board - but I've scoured it up and down three times over and I know it's not there! If I try to save something to a board from a different site, I get the spinning pinwheel of death. I'll leave it up for about 30 minutes trying to decide if it wants to save it or not, and then end up just closing it out of sheer frustration. Guess I didn't need that recipe that bad, right? Lastly I understand needing ads, I'm a marketer myself. However, when it overtakes my feed and there's no content I originally wanted there, it's not doing your consumers any good. The whole point of Pinterest is seeing content you want, not what others decide you want.
Pinterest needs to clean house and check the companies allowed to advertise. The entire app is cluttered with scammer retailers. Just read the reviews for over 90% of clothing shown on pinterest and everyone has lost money. How are people finding these scammy retailers with websites that are here today and gone tomorrow? Look no further than the pics on pinterest linking them.
Answer: I warned everyone about what a piece of crap pinterest is and now their true colors are showing. #PinterestSucks
Answer: I was sent a message on May 29th alerting me of my suspension, with no explanation, only that they would be sending an email explaining why. I sent an email to their help desk explaining I was a long time member with thousands of posts, none of which I considered to be against their policy. They acknowledged my email and said I'd get a reply shortly. I have not heard back nor do I expect to. This is not the first time this has happened and I have learned my lesson. They have no regard for their members and their customer service is nonexistent. Never again!
Pinterest has a rating of 2.1 stars from 475 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Pinterest most frequently mention customer service, multiple times and email address. Pinterest ranks 482nd among Social Network sites.
