It's awful. Nobody explained nothing to us. Told us unlimited talk didnt happen. 35$ later and only talked 2 times plus the letters they mail takes 2 weeks to get there. Also promised that 10$on us had 3 friends join as well got nothing but more fees.
I made an account and signed up for a free trial. Read these reviews about bogus charges and canceled it immediately, but just in case I put a card with no money on it and deleted my bank card. They won't let you delete your card until your "subscription ends" which is 7 days later. Lo and behold 24 hours later I get a notification that my card declined two 39.99 charges. This site is the first and only place I have ever given this card info. I have contacted the authorities and am determined to erase myself from their site. I had to deactivate my card. I've enclosed photos. Oh yea, the charge came from "pgn.co". Imagine that.

I wish that this service would replace all the others in place at the jail facilities.
I've had nothing but trouble, problems and hassles. GTL connect Network, the other ones I am broke because of it and can barely afford to put money on my husband's books do to the other companies high fees. I wish my jail facility will allow pigeon to load commissary but at least now a lot of the other services are cheaper for me and I can send him pictures, greeting cards among other things. I've only had to use the customer service one time and even that was beyond amazing. Extremely happy with them.
My mail was sent back to me for several months. When I called to ask why, I was told as long as I have his prison number it should get there. Not so. The correction industry wants you to address the envelope they way they want it addressed. I followed their protocol but still it was returned. I then asked pigeonly why I should use their service if my mail continues to be returned? I'm still waiting for a response.

I was hesitant about using this, since I'm so old fashioned and use to mailing everything. I'm really not too computer savvy, but since I‘ve mailed my pictures off twice and they haven't been received, I figured why not give it a try. It only took me about 3 minutes to set up my account and send my photos right on to my hubby! I love it and I didn't even have to leave the house. They even called me to verify it was me, which made me feel more secure and ready to try. I set up a recurring payment acct. Since I will definitely be doing things this way! I love it!
Pigeonly is terrible. Twice with 3weeks $19.99 has been taken out of my account. I only have phone service through them and it's nowhere near $19.99 a mth! The first refund was a breeze to get my money returned. This second round, I'm still fighting for my $ to be returned. It's been over a month. Supervisor Katy is a joke and a liar. The phone #'s barely work on the weekends. It always technical issues for a service that's being paid for that you can't use! I'm furious! As soon as I get my $ back and find another company for inmate calls, I'm done with them! I'm contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUSINESS BUREAU as well. They need to be aware of this so called company!

Unethical —They promised phone calls, video calls, and computer connections. They promised delivering photographs and postcards. They did none of those the kiosks are non-usable, and I was charged for three months without them providing the services. I need to speak with them five times in order to get one of the months reversed. Don't waste your money

This company is a complete joke! I sent mail over a MONTH ago and it's still yet to be processed. I keep getting the run around and excuses of "were backlogged." You can't call because they phones lines "are down for maintenance" and your customer service is less than helpful. The holidays are practically here and you are affecting the mental health of us families and our loved ones!

Was very well please until I chatted with the online representative and asked her how long it takes for one to receive our letters. Supposedly they are going through difficulties and was told as of now she cannot say when they'd receive the letter. Usually it takes 24hrs to mail out now I will not know when they'll get my letter. Used this as a convenience instead of having to drive to drop off a written letter. Like everything the mobile way better. I will still rate at a 4 star.
Please beware pigeonly is always charging your account when you already paid or even if you no longer do business with them. It has happened to me plenty of times then I finally closed my account with them. Just recently I was charged twice unfortunately I lost my cool because I no longer have an account with them so they had no right charging me. Their excuse was it is a new system. That is a lie because it has been happening for years.

I wish I had seen these reviews earlier. They completely rip off money from your bank. I have called them bunch of times, demanding my money back that they charged for no reason. They promise every time that I will get refund. However nothing comes from them. Instead I was charged five more times after that call. This is just ridicules. I can't believe that they do this to people who are already in pain. By the way this is the first time I am writing a review. I guess you can assume how much this hurt me that it pushed me to leave a review...

I'm very new to the website. Just started by adding name it was simple elect to add credit to send pictures. Seems easy enough but I don't like that there is no direction for how it works or what will happen. And it doesn't say how it garuntee it's a credible city. Before Pigeonly I have been stressed to the max trying to talk to my boyfriend. I have been spending an insane amount a week or just a few phone calls. This makes trying to support him and comfort him as well as him do the same to me make us both just irritated. Thanks to Pigeonly I will be spending way less and won't have to worry about money. Its a blessing to have the ability to write my wife on the go, through my phone instead of have to go buy stamps, paper, envelopes and then sit down and write. This app is awesome I can b on the way to work sending a postcard, picture or letter. I love it and they dont try getting rich off of me like other apps that do the same thing, plus they have everything so I don't have to have 3 different apps. I can send money to her account, pay for calls, send pics, letters, postcards and arrivals from online. If you have someone locked up this is the best app to have. I was locked up 13 years and I wish they would of had this back then it makes it much easier to communicate

I've only used but so many types of these kinds of applications. As well as using in and out of building, and have seen others use other devices with the same kind of applications. This one, was not hard at all. It was easy as pie. Got onto the page, created acct, followed the quick review, and was basically on my way, to getting into writing a letter to a friend. It's by far, a very quick and simple app.

Answer: Hello: To all who have suffered multiple, unauthorized charges by Pigeonly. I have submitted all necessary info to classaction.org to initiate a class action suit. My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations. Answer: I have it and for the first month worked fine now not working so I just went and got a cell # in his area and said forget it not paying for a service that does not work And when you call customer service they keep saying they are working on the issue and it has been 5 days since my first call saying it wasn't working they are letting you get through for about a month then assigning the # to someone else attaching it to that persons number a big, Ole scam do not use them
Answer: You can send a postcard or letter to your loved one and include your assigned number. Or give them the number the next time they call. Also a lot of jails have implemented emails.
