Pity there is no 1/2 star. Bought Salami from Pick n pay in Howard center in Pinelands. Thick slices with the plastic still on. I called the manager. No such thing there. Only the deli manager? He argued at first, then went to look (I asked him to) and confirmed. Jip. Plastic on the salami. How do you recall all the food you sent with your family. He told me to find my slip and come back? Lol. Same shop, bought three packs of cut soup veg. Barley and lentil. Made a big pot of soup just to find that it is completely full of sand. The food is not safe. I called and called and called to warn them. They let me hold the line for 9 minutes, then 12 minutes, then just hung up... they really care you see... The food is not safe. Stay away
Busy with my shopping and the cashiers start shouting at me and comes to me in the shelves and tells me i cant shop anymore because they are closed get to the tills nobody help us they are all cashing up. If a customer keeps me busy after my business hours i have to help them. Will never shop at the southern centre and never recommend anyone go there.
I ordered a air fryer on the app. Nothing was mentioned about out of stock until the delivery guy stopped at my house with a delivery for which i paid 55 rand with no item because it is out of stock. No i have credit with pick a pay but i want them to refund the money back because i wanted to buy another air fryer on black friday no i wont be able to. You guys should really update the app so that it shows ouy of stock before customers make a payment. And then you guys also deduct the delivery fee and tip fee of the amount you own me how does that work. No air fryer, a delivery without any product and no refund so that i can order a air fryer somewhere else.
I went to trade route for juice special that goes for 47 for 3 from yesterday in the morning they were not there even today i think the staff has hidden for themselves and when we ask for rain check they have written that no rain check for items on promotion im not happy

I was at the Westgate Pick and Pay store yesterday and I misplaced by credit card. As i was leaving the store I decided to inform one of the staff members of my plight. I certainly did not expect any results but nevertheless I left my contact details to an ever willing Precious Bonseng.

One should not have to fight to get money owed to you back! I ordered groceries on asap, they cancelled the order, not me but took the money immediately and now I have to fight for my money back; bad situation.
I have been ordering online for delivery weekly for a few weeks now. Although I do tick that they can choose similar product if anything is out of stock, every week there are items missing. To date I could accept it but today they actually did not even deliver my brown bread with an excuse they had no brown bread of any kind in stock. Every week I order about 12 brown bread for the week. How can you not have brown bread! Now I have to go to the shops anyways, nullifying my reason for doing online shopping. I phoned customer service. The lady kept on asking me to hold on so she could log my call. In the end, after having to hold on for the 2rd time for how long I hanged up as there was just no will to assist me. Worst service ever!
We placed an order and noticed the Smartshopper discounts were not being applied. We notified the support staff who indicated it would be rectified. The query was not resolved and numerous attempts with the call centre proved fruitless. We received a mail saying the problem was resolved.
Will not use them again -their competitors are much better and customer friendly.
They sold a very defective kettle in Cornubia mall and when I returned their product, there was no sense of acknowledgement or apology, they acted as if its a normal thing, not even their female supervisor was able to pretend at-least and apologise. This is the 2nd time pick n pay has let me down and its quite pathetic
Purchased 4 half lamb packs, to my surprise when I got home, seems non of these lambs had back legs, necks and shanks. I reported this but to no avail. 3 people from PnP called but all with the same sorded story. Seems I was lying about my experience.

I placed an order with PnP ASAP last Sunday. The goods were not delivered on Sunday, and instead arrived mid-morning on Monday. None of the perishables had been refrigerated overnight. The milk bottles were blown up, the fish was warm and crumbling, lettuce was wilted, etc. I emailed PnP - no response days later. I also called them on the day and they were quick to send someone round to collect the perished goods. And after that I heard nothing. When I called today, I was told R300 would be refunded. They have no record of the returned food, which their own driver collected from me. I returned about R600 (ex VAT) of goods. I've spent about R100 on phone calls to them. The call centre people sound helpful, but still nothing has been done.
This app is extremely disgusting and got no sense of urgency. I ordered 13h00 but I didn't get my order until the following day 11h00. Some items were missing I didn't get my refund even. My advice to you is do not order from pick n pay asap at all. They don't even care to call back when your airtime has run out. So frustrated and disgusted.
Pick 'nPay Jackal Creek will never be the same after the passing on of Jacque. I used to call and ask him to keep bonny meat for me...which he would but now the bones are scrapped white with no meat on them at all. What a disappointment! Will never go there ever again after today.
I am very dissatisfied with the attitude of your staff. They look you in your face and don't greet, I Swiped my card and the cashier literally didn't have the decency to give me the slip in my hand, I had to tear it off myself and take my items myself. For as long as I've been using Picknpay Claremont I feel they treat people by their skin colour and looks.
I ordered a few things including bread and milk and they delivered the oldest stock, the bread expired the next day (it was so hard) and the milk as well. This is was so disappointing.
I also order banana's that had mould on them. This is truly unacceptable.
The deliver incorrect products. No refund. Bags poor quality. Cannot hold products on delivery. Delivered broken eggs, broken 2l milk. After sending them numerous emails you lucky if you get a refund..
Cashiers working at that picknpay I believe that they didn't go for customer service training they don't greet customers they always have sad and ugly faces. Everytime when we asked for cash backs they don't have money I hate that picknpay it really irritates me please management of picknpay do something about that shop.
They don't deliver your purchase nor give you a refund like 60/60 does and force you to purchase from their $#*! app again. My money is my money and they try to force me to purchase their $#*!ing products again! That is bull$#*!!
On 14 April I logged an email for a delivery made on the wrong date. The delivery was scheduled for 30 April and the order was incomplete. The goods were not accepted and returned with the driver.
I keep following up to obtain a refund or even a credit of R202.96. All I receive are automated responses.

Purchased something, waited hours and then delivery was moved to the next day. I canceled n got refunded into the wallet on the app. From there i had to eft it to my bank account, i did that on 08/03. I am still waiting for the money to reflect in my bank account. I call them every day and all i hear is that they have a backlog and that they apologize for the inconvenience. Will never use them again EVER
