I am very concerned that the CALVIN KLEIN ESCAPE EDT perfume that I purchased from this website is fake as the smell does not linger or stay on for more than 2-4 hours after spraying. I have been using ESCAPE for the past 30 years and know the perfume very well. It stays on the whole day especially on your clothes.

Also for the past 2-3 years this perfume has never been found in any of the Airport duty free shops especially in Singapore where I stay and countries I travel world wide. It was one of the most popular Calvin Klein perfume range. Both Escape for Men and Ladies. That is very strange. I also read a few online chats saying ESCAPE has been discontinued for a long while now.

I wrote to their customer support and till now could not proof that it is a genuine item from Calvin Klein and that this product is still in the market. See their response below.

Basically they said it is your own fault buying from their website. No one forced you to buy and if you had doubt about authenticity of their products its your own risk. Its like saying its your fault for buying fake goods from their website.

They were willing to take back the goods but I have to pay for all shipping costs which will be more than the purchase value! Very ridiculous proposition.

Be careful and do not buy from this website. Both Perfume.com and FragranceX.com

My wife used to like this fragrance when she was younger, so I thought it'd be a gift with a twist of nostalgia. Then, despite paying extra for expedited delivery, it was a day late than promised. She appreciated the thought but hated the cologne. Maybe she never liked it and never told me, but I don't think she's that good of an actress. I doubt you go from liking to hating a fragrance, so they must have changed the scent, or it was a counterfeit, or something. And now, since the package is opened, I can't return it or swap it for something she likes. $100 down the drain.

I have never had an issue with Perfume.com! The products arrive in a timely manner and you can't beat the prices!
