I cannot find the words to express how magnificent Pelican Commerce is. I have been trying to figure out how to connect my Shopify site to Hostgator, and within 1 hour, Daniel made all of the connections for me. I hired Daniel and his team to migrate my existing e-commence site that was hosted on Big Cartel to Shopify. They migrated all the pages, the look and feel, the more than 250 product listings (including the photos, descriptions, price, variations, everything!) and got my new Shopify site set up to my liking. I of course had to provide photos and some direction of what I wanted, but they made suggestions and helped me navigate the new world of Shopify and all its options. I also had them set up a wholesale app, and we encountered one issue, but they efficiently fixed it. They were very fast, very affordable, and I would hire them again in an instant. For context, I own a brick and mortar retail store and also an ecommerce store. Having been a Volusion customer for over eight years I was reluctant to migrate my site to another platform. However, after researching Shopify I decided to make the move. We contacted the team at Pelican to assist us with bulk uploading products to Walmart from our Amazon listings. The staff at Pelican were very knowledgeable and professional in every regard. They were also very prompt with our questions and concerns before, during and after the project. After submitting a request on Shopify's Preferred Vendor list, I got a call from Pelican. I needed help moving two older e-commerce sites (http://www.toerings.com) over from Magento. They were very responsive to all my questions and needs, and got things done in a timely manner - something unheard of! I was also appreciative of their guidance in learning a new platform and recommending needed apps. We stayed within my expectations of price and launch date. Overall, they were always friendly, available through Basecamp, and got the job DONE!

Migration from (what I used them for) Big Commerce to Shopify took a bit longer than expected but was all worth it in the end (I only mention the longer time frame in case you're considering them and want to know how long it takes, which was about 8 1/2 weeks). They always answered all of my questions thoroughly and assured me that each step was going smoothly. If they needed anything from me it was easy to understand how to get them exactly what they needed so the job could continue swiftly. Over all I would highly recommend using them, over some other hands off company, or trying to do what they do yourself. They're clearly the pros!

I have used Pelican for multiple projects. This time we had them move two of our stores from Yahoo to Shopify.
