This company advertises one cheap monthly price and then charges a much higher monthly rate if you accept their offer. After contacting the company and submitting a support ticket, I received the run around. I notified Pay Pal, the company I used to submit funds to them, and was told once I did this, though they would have been happy to refund my money, could not longer assist me. First I had heard of them wanting to refund my money! Lol
PDF filler offers a free trial service for a month. I cancelled before the month ended and after a month they charged my credit card for a FULL YEAR subscription. My bank caught it (thank goodness) and marked it as fraudulent and cancelled my card. DO NOT use this site.
Just spent one hour editing a PDF and 90 minutes with their support because recipients could not see any of the changes. Recipients included our own web developer, he's not stupid. Even the cancellation didn't go through but I will say the offered to cancel instantly, must be used to it
Pdf filler put out a form supposed to be from the uk driver and vehicle licensing agency. To the best of my knowledge this form has nothing to do with the dvla. Since any signatures on the licence application form, which is probably bogus, are electronically generated, not hand written originals, I guess dvla would not accept them. When you try to save or print the resulting pdf application, you find you have to pay a minimum of 6 dollars per month. Unless you have some other use for pdf filler, you have wasted your money. This is a scam, because it is dressed up to look like a free service run by a government agency. I don't think it is even worth one star.
I came home from my work at lunch to print a two-page form and had to choose a plan (personal for $6) before it would print. Now, I find that I was charged $20! There was no reference to $20 on the page where I entered the CC info. $10/page is outrageous as well as deceptive.
Use this site at your own risk; I'm posting warnings on all of my social media pages including a national organization with over 26,000 members.
I will start a lawsuit after such a horrendous experience. I was supposed to pay $6 per month, but they took $72 from my bank in one go, which is not what I paid for. It gets worse, when I wanted to save a single modified file into my desk, they force me to subscribe to a professional plan which ends up taking an additional 100 dollars immediately from my account instead of upgrading the monthly fee! I closed my PDFfiller account ever since and I cannot get them to answer for this cowardly scam and get a refund.
The Chat Support kept hanging up on me when I tried to get them to delete confidential information that was input to passport form. I called them and no help there either. I think a class action law suit is in order to put these jerks out of business!
I had a good experience with this company, but I only needed their service for one week. I paid for a month, their shortest option, but they have since fraudulently charged me FOUR times, each time apologizing, refunding, and promising it will never happen again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first three times, but now I am convinced they are running a scam, and hoping I just forget to check my statement. Awful! Do NOT use them.
I was trying to be professional and used PDFfiller to fill out a PDF application. I spent a lot of time pulling together information and filling out the form. I thought I was saving it all along. I planned to look it over one last time today (two days after I'd begun)... and what's this? Where did it go? I'm in a panic and so, like an idiot, I "sign in" by going through my Google account. Who knows what I allowed them access to, and I'm afraid of them accessing what I put on the form. I should have researched first.
Spend 10 minutes uploading your form, add text, use the online signature to make your actual signature look like it's been copied by a 4 year old and then click save... then sign up for an account... then find out it's $6 a month
Er no!
I needed to create a fill in form based on one someone sent me. I signed up for the free trial of PDF Filler. It did a terrible job, and I ended up not being able to use most of the functions. Then, of course as I and many others foolishly do, I forgot to cancel. Later, my bookkeeper asked if I wanted to keep the $20 coming out automatically! I have now spent over $100 on this worthless app. I think one of the main problems is that when you look at the price, in large letters it says the basic plan is $6.00 a month. You have to click on the very small print to see that it is actually $20 a month unless you pay in advance. There ought to be a consumer protection law requiring that plans like this put the monthly charge up front, as large as the pre-paid fee. I have been lazy, and this is my reward, but please, others, if you want to try it, be sure to cancel it immediately and THEN make up your mind if you want to pay for it in advance.
I have never wrote a bad review in my life, I am absolutely outraged with this so called 'company' first I sign up for a $6 one time use for PDF filler and it charges me $99. Then I try to send the PDF file to an email in my Hotmail list and it says it has sent and my contact has not even received the email. After trying over and over again still nothing. Would appreciate my $93 back and a service that actually works. Thanks
If you ready the terms clearly, and carefully review everything, you get what you pay for. I didn't run into any issues. There is a little room for improvement, but I can't complain. I got my benefit from this, you can too, just make sure it's what you need! Lot's of people seem to complain because they didn't notice things in the terms.
They are totally misleading people in a dirty way. Don't expect to keep your work that you created unless youre ready to fork over $20 and a subscription. They don't tell you it cost until after you're done creating your important document. Don't fall for it. It was honest I might've spent a couple dollars but you guys can keep the document i will convert elsewhere just because your dishonest. You wont get my money!
Dominique hi!
We are very sorry for any confusion caused, we surely did not mean that at all!
Let's start from the end - file conversion: we actually have a totally free tool for that, here - https://altopdf.com/, this is pet project of our developers.
Secondly, our pricing is absolutely transparent and it is publicly available information. You can find our pricing options directly on our site here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/services.htm
There is indeed a difference between monthly payments and the annual commitment. Paying once a year would be cheaper in the long term, of course (but if you need PDF editing for a month or two, you can surely go with a monthly plan, no problem).
Finally, please note the free trial of 30 days. It goes prior to any of our paid plans. You would need to register a personal account for that BUT there are NO charges in the first 30 days, we assure you.
Hope this helps!
I would never use this service again. It is deceptive from the get go. They do not explain their fees up front and then over charge when they have you locked in. After 2.5 hours of filling in the form 990, I discover that the form is held hostage until I pay up. When I agreed to a monthly charge of $5.99, the fee actually charged was $71.88.
This is not a user friendly system.
There is no easy way to figure anything out, you have to hunt and seek. I still have not figured out how to find a blank version of my document without the Sample water mark.
The price charged is not ethical, it says on the purchase page that the annual rate gets a 65% discount but when we purchased we did not get any discount we paid the full price of $5.99 per month.
I apologize for the confusion. The pricing page says the following:
1 Year Subscription - $5.99 Per Month
Save 65% off regular price
$71.88 Billed Annually.
If you sign up for monthly plan, you pay $19.99/month. However if you want to sign up for 1 year right away, the price is $71.88 for all 12 months. This works out to $5.99 a month instead of the $19.99 - a 65% discount per month! The full 12 months is billed right away. Please check these screenshots:

I apologize once again for the misunderstanding. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you. Feel free to drop your concerns at support@pdffiller.com.
Thank you!

I used the site once. And it was not a good experience. The main problem with them is being dishonest. They are not clear about the fees. Although it seems a free service, specially if you go directly from a search engine, it is an expensive one. They automatically charge my credit card without any notice. However, they respectfully returned my money after I emailed them and expressed my dissatisfaction.
Tried to use this for IRS form 1120 a dead standard form. Every time it saved it introduced random errors. Utterly useless software.
IRS has its own which work really well and for free at https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf

Thank you for the feedback, and we hope you’ll give us another chance.
PDFfiller Team!
Basically the site is designed to trick you into editing a pdf, then holing your work hostage unless you pay for a subscription, which is either 70$ for a year or 20$ a month. The software itself is ok, although not really worth the money but this underhand tactic is disgusting. I'm left in a situation where I'm down 2 hours or 20$, and as a college student I can't afford to spare either
Complete scam. I cancelled my free trial within 2 days realizing it was a scam. I received a call from Fraud Protection services not long after about an unauthorized large payment they tried to bill me for. Thankfully it did not go through but pdffiller said they would try to bill me again in 2 weeks. Today Fraud Protection called me to tell me I had been billed over $100. To repeat, this was at least a month after I cancelled my free trial 2 days in! This company is a complete scam and I had to get my card cancelled. Do not fall for them!
Ellie hi!
First of all, we charge either monthly, or annually, so there is no way we could have charged you twice in one month. Also, you've mentioned "pdfFiller said" - was it an email? Or did you chat/email with our Support? If so, can we have your ticket number, please? We are certainly ready to investigate the case ASAP.
We would love to see this settled, however, for this, we would need more info. Please chat with our Billing Support over here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/billing?sl=support Our agents will make sure your free trial is fully cancelled and your card won't get charged in the future.
In advance, many thanks for your cooperation on this!
Answer: NO! Any company that would lure veterans to use their service, then try to charge them to print or save their documents after filling them out iss a RIPOFF!
Answer: Tharun hi! Many thanks for your interest and question! No, our 30-day free trial period is entirely free, no hidden fees, no fine print. The first charge goes on the first day of the second month (and you can surely cancel prior to that, again, no charges). Hope this helps!
Answer: Many thanks for your question! There are two answers here, actually. First of all, nobody in pdfFiller Team has access to the documents you store inside your account. Our Support and Statistics can see the number of uploads and sendings, but NOT the contents of your documents. That's confidential information. Regarding your payments details: If you are paying for our services by a credit card, we see: ***********1234. That is, only the last four digits of your card, the date of transaction and the amount paid. If you are paying via PayPal, we obviously see the email linked to your PayPal account. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Susan, many thanks for your question! And yes, you can do that. Two things are important here. First, you need to register a password-protected account to make sure all your sensitive data is stored securely in our private cloud. Secondly - please, note that PDFfiller does not have any sort of official agreement with medicare, thus, your form cannot be automatically delivered to the needed office. In other words, you can surely fill the form with us, edit it later, print, save, email etc. But keep in mind that you are responsible for document delivery, this is NOT automated. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Bibek, many thanks for your question. And no, you will not, free trial is free :) But please, mind the deadline. Charging is automatic straight after these 30 days are over.
Dear Ruth-Anne,
Many thanks for reaching out! If there was a charge, that means the cancelation simply did not go through (this might have happened if the Internet was down for a minute, for example). Please email support@pdffiller.com, we'll make sure your subscription is fully canceled and there won't be any future charge attempts. Thanks!
