PDFfiller has a rating of 4.5 stars from 5,073 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with PDFfiller most frequently mention customer service, small business and good experience. PDFfiller ranks 66th among Business Documents sites.
They simply copied the form I wanted from the IRS website. I should have gone there first. No up-front pricing info, filled in what I needed then Wham! You have to pay up to even print the document. Going to write the IRS and see if they can lean on these people.
It has been necessary from time to time to complete forms for travel and other official uses where it is important that the documents are legible. My handwriting isn't great, so recently my wife and I used PDFiller to complete forms for visa applications. We found the software easy to use and the end result very satisfactory. In addition, in this application, completed forms may be stored for future reference or reuse given that much of the basic personal information remains the same.
I wasn't looking for a handout and found the price point very reasonable. I actually found it cheaper to other similar services. Other reviews have people complaining about auto-renewal, but that's no different than a Netflix subscription. Simply, it's a really good program with an easy interface that allows me to do what I needed to do on a budget.
Sometimes I have a need to edit contracts, which are signed by customers and this app is damn good for this. It has not completely clear pricing, but I think they are working on it. Make it more clear somehow.
Company is a credit card scam!
I've been registered without my will and knowledge by someone with strange e-mail. They used my credit card details. I've been charged 20US.
When I asked a company about that, they VERY QUICKLY decided to refund after my first message, without checking anything. But if someone was registered as a simple user (even with a stolen card), why make refund so quickly? Without any investigation and questions? So I checked all the complains to PDFfiller and the answer is simple.
PDFFiller management knows very well about their methods to "acquire" users and stealing credit card data from other companies. This is how they do their "business". They should end in jail.
Evaluated product for less than half a day, and ultimately found it would not suit my needs. Less than 24 hrs later, I got an email I had been charged for one year subscription. I contacted them immediately to cancel and they simply canceled the automatic renewal set for 2020. Thus, I paid $17 and change for something I got absolutely nothing out of. I call that a scam.
When searching for a USPS form a pdf was brought up on the web page which I thought was just a form. When I tried to print it then a page appears saying I will be charged $6.00 I find this obnoxious at the time but paid via credit card. I then get an e-mail saying I will be charged $120.00. A pure scam. Avoid this company. They should not be in business.
Why don't they tell you upfront they want $$$$$ for this service? I suspected such but it's hidden well until you get to the end. I don't care for devious methods. It might be useful if you did a lot of this stuff. But for once a year or less, no!
This service is good for making paper work paperless. It has all needed options to make all processes fast and sufficient.
At the same time, it becomes complicated use it without manual guides at the first.
I want to delete my account. This is a useless site, because you spent time to fill out a form then find out the form you just did can't be printed or saved. This is a dumbest thing I have ever done in my life. If anyone would like to create a PDF file, you can use a regular word editor, then save as ". Pdf" file format. It's free and more effective.?#@*&%!

PDFfiller Team!
Like other reviewers, they don't let you know until you've done a bunch of work and try to save it that it costs money to use. By that point you've spent a ton of time working on whatever and you're stuck deciding whether you want to spend $20 per month or lose the time and the document you were working on. Garbage.
Actually, they do not make their pricing clear on their website and advertising. It says "Try it for free" so I tried it. What they don't tell you is that you cannot access anything you try until you pay a ridiculous amount.
Now watch as I get the standard "sorry for the misunderstanding" spiel from their auto response that so many other of these one-star reviews got. If so many people do not realize that "try it for free" means "try it and then pay or lose everything" then your advertising and website are not as clear as you claim. In fact, your website and advertising are downright misleading.
On the plus, for anyone who thinks the money is worth it, I did not think the program was difficult to use. It did everything I needed. I would have been willing and happy to pay a one-time use fee or even open an account and pay a by-use fee of a couple of bucks but $20 for something I will likely never touch again? After claiming I could try it for free? Ridiculous.

PDFfiller Team!
I spent a little time working on creating and editing my document, but in the end I could not print it.
Gladly that the support team quickly responded. I realized that I must save the document before printing.
UI needs some work
These guys have nailed the UX. If people are complaining about this being not user-friendly then I hope I never have to develop software for them. Sure, it would be nice if it was free, but wouldn't all decent software?
13 months after checking their program, I get a charge for somethinf I didn't agree to. Reached out to customer service to get some understand and I basically got a "sorry you got charged for something you didn't use, but we can't do anything about it" Highly disappointed. Don't recommend.
Al hi! The money-back guarantee period is indeed 180 days. We are very sorry you've noticed the charge after more than a year. Unfortunately, I would have to confirm that Support answer was correct.
I am not pleased that I had to subscribe to this service merely to get a print out of my tax filing. In the past I've gone on line with the IRS, completed the 941, printed and mailed it. Due to time constraints, I went ahead and paid your fee just to get the filing in the mail by the end of the year.
I think that your high jacking of the site is unscrupulous and I plan to cancel immediately.
First I bought it for my tax forms and usability impressed me very much. I didn't know how to send my forms but support service helped me in few seconds! Now I am trying use pdffiller in my business and I can say that it is really awesome tool.
So, all this software represents is a thinly veiled attempt to extract money from you. Anything you want to do won't be free. And anything you pay for likely won't work.
Don't bother with companies that don't provide costs up front and don't support their software.
This company charged my card for something I never signed up for and then for some reason I was able to log into an account that is not mine. I was charged $144 for some thing I never signed up for and it's absolutely ridiculous and I will let my credit card company know about this regardless because this is fraudulent and whoever is doing this is awful.
Sam hi! Sorry to hear about the confusion incurred! Please note that all accounts in pdfFiller are password-protected and verified. You can log into one only if you know the email login and the password, actually.
If you have no intentions to maintain this account and would like to get a refund, please email support@pdffiller.com. We will arrange account termination and the refund as soonest.
Hope this helps!
For a cloud based service as useful as PDFfiller, $5.99 isn't a bad price to pay whatsoever. It flip real estate and often have dozens of PDF documents to fill out when I close houses. PDFfiller saves me hours of time when it comes to fill those out.
Answer: NO! Any company that would lure veterans to use their service, then try to charge them to print or save their documents after filling them out iss a RIPOFF!
Answer: Tharun hi! Many thanks for your interest and question! No, our 30-day free trial period is entirely free, no hidden fees, no fine print. The first charge goes on the first day of the second month (and you can surely cancel prior to that, again, no charges). Hope this helps!
Answer: Many thanks for your question! There are two answers here, actually. First of all, nobody in pdfFiller Team has access to the documents you store inside your account. Our Support and Statistics can see the number of uploads and sendings, but NOT the contents of your documents. That's confidential information. Regarding your payments details: If you are paying for our services by a credit card, we see: ***********1234. That is, only the last four digits of your card, the date of transaction and the amount paid. If you are paying via PayPal, we obviously see the email linked to your PayPal account. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Susan, many thanks for your question! And yes, you can do that. Two things are important here. First, you need to register a password-protected account to make sure all your sensitive data is stored securely in our private cloud. Secondly - please, note that PDFfiller does not have any sort of official agreement with medicare, thus, your form cannot be automatically delivered to the needed office. In other words, you can surely fill the form with us, edit it later, print, save, email etc. But keep in mind that you are responsible for document delivery, this is NOT automated. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Bibek, many thanks for your question. And no, you will not, free trial is free :) But please, mind the deadline. Charging is automatic straight after these 30 days are over.
Hi Paul,
I am sorry about the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that we clearly show the pricing on our website and in all our Google ads as well. We also provide 100% money-back guarantee if the users are dissatisfied and request a refund within 30 days of their subscription.
Feel free to drop your concerns to our support team at support@pdffiller.com and we will get back to you soon.
