Pay pal is great over all to use online to pay with when ordering on line just remember amazon does not accept pay pal make sure which sites does. Pay pal is good way to receive money on line too
I am a freelancer and i work mostly online and Paypal is the best thing that helps me to convert my money and i can easily transfer my money to my personal bank account.
I have had PayPal for years and no problem, recently they offered me a "Cash back MasterCard" I got it and it was fine for the first few months, I got rewards as promised ETC. THEN when I was making my Feb. Monthly MasterCard payment. Their system went down in the middle of it and caused me to make two payments of over $2,000.00 as my total monthly charge on the card was over $1,000.00 I contacted them and ask them to reverse one of the over charges and the chat person said they couldn't but could send me a check. Well I told them to just post it on the account as a credit and I would use it next month to pay on the master card bill. So they posted it as a credit to the account. Then with out my knowledge or permission each time I made a purchase they would deduct that amount form the cash credit I had on the account and charge me a transaction fee and pay it to the credit limit on the account. The only authorization they had over that account was a ONE TIME automatic payment on the due date to pay the total owed during the month. I ordered them the send the remaining back and the chat person said they would and also send me a "$25.00 adjustment check" the remaining balance came but I never received the $25.00 check but it shows it was sent on my account. ALSO they don't even show the transaction charges on my monthly statement which was posted a week ago. I filed a complaint with the D. O. J. And am waiting a reply but so far nothing. Word to the wise if you over pay the card be sure to make them send you a check and not post the over payment to the account.
Paypal is refusing to delete my data and closing my account, while asking for a social security, even if I am not willing to use their services. Please do not use their services
For buyers paypal is great. For sellers, paypal will hold your funds, close your account for no reason, and keep your money for up to 6 months! Seller beware!

Got a clothes washer from AppliancesConnection.com. It arrived damaged. Paypal told me to pack it up and send it to AppliancesConnection.com at my own cost to get a refund.
I recently made an online purchase for $605 for an Android Game App. The seller made false claims about the item. I filed a dispute with paypal stating that the item was not as described. Immediately after filing the dispute without asking me any questions they just closed the dispute in favor of the seller without any explanation to me. I have been doing business with paypal for many years as a seller for my business. After this, I am looking to switch to a different company. I rarely file any paypal disputes and the day I do, Paypal doesnt care and just disregards it. STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL - THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS- THEY JUST CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY!
I have sent them about 15 msgs within 1 year everytime they send me a msg saying we will respond within 24-72 hours, and then nothing, or i ask to get a msg from a REAL PERSON and not an auto msg and always a auto msg, i have $400 in my frozen account and no1 wants to help me, i will never use these scumbags

I ordered something from a company that I later found out was in China PayPal did NOTHING to help with my dispute! Went to order something on Etsy, PayPal pops up and says if you apply for and are accepted for our credit card you will get $20 off this order. So I applied and was accepted but the $20 off NEVER happened. Contacted customer service and Daniela asked me basically to prove it so I copied and pasted the info back to her. After that I got no response until I texted that I was going to complain to sitejabber which she replied to 16 minutes later. Then she said she was going to transfer me to the credit dept and I was back on ignore. It's been well over 10 minutes and I'm still on ignore. I'm so done with this company. Won't use the credit card they gave me after today.

I received a payment for $5000 today on 12-22-2022 on my PayPal For me to be able to buy my 3 kids Their Christmas and to pay bills As soon as the money got in my PayPal balance my account They placed ahold on All of my money I called PayPal and they told me I had to wait 24 hours And my phones would be available After doing so my Funds was made available but had a limitation restriction on my account Now called PayPal again And they advised me I could not withdraw any money or access my money but I could have some more money sent to them And that they would let me know something Monday after Christmas If I will be able to receive my money or if they will hold it For over 200 days I recommend everybody to watch YouTube videos and sign the petition

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
