PayPal is a horrible company with regards to a customer being screwed by a company. Any credit card or debit card company would simply return you your money, but not PayPal, never. I lost about three days of work due to a faulty program and requested my money back. The company would not refund. PayPal denied my request after basically just accepting the company's bs and not verifying what they said at all. I could provide screenshots proving that what they reported to PayPal was wrong, no Sir, case closed.

All PayPal is doing right now is a Covid-19 Ponzi Scheme with customer funds. They are taking 6 weeks to review bogus charges while they instantly freeze the funds from the vendor yielding them over a month's worth of earning interest on your money. This is not about being short-staffed. This is an intentional deception to create cash flow.

The worse service I have ever received. I was scammed on 2 purchases using Paypay... Paypal did not provide any assistance. They are impossible to reach + avoid you using Robots to answer you on their website. They will not help you with a dispute. Avoid at all cost!

I have been a loyal paypal customer for years and have conducted hundreds of paypal transactions and never asked for a refund. I recently cancelled a service for NEXTSCRIPTS that is billed through my PAYPAL account and cancelled it on time. The service says cancel by 4/21/20 which I did. It does not state to cancel BEFORE 4/21/20. There is a difference. I was billed $49.95 for a service which is paid in advance. So I am not actually receiving anything for the $49.95 charge. I was billed anyway and asked for a refund for a service that I will not be using. PAYPAL declined the refund and probably never reviewed or did anything to actually see what the renewal agreement says. Sad to say it but I will no longer be using paypal. There are other / better options out there now.

I was recently scammed into using paypal for paying for an item that was never delivered. Paypal did nothing to help or try to investigate my claim to prevent the scammer from continuing their activities using their accounts. I never received a refund for the money sent, instead paypal proceeded to blame me for not handling my account. Blaming a victim of fraud is what they did. I'm extremely distressed and disappointed

I have avoided this service for years out of fear of getting scammed. So many times I have read about people getting scammed with PayPal when buying online. The one and only time I try this service I get scammed. I wanted to buy a trampoline, which I never got, and the seller wanted to go through PayPal. Instead of helping me fix this issue, they had some guy from PayPal call me and email me, only to tell me he doesn't do disputes or claims. They can't even help me fix this issue.
Since it was a Google add I chose to buy through I thought it would be safe, but I've learned my lesson. If anyone wants you to pay with PayPal, it's 100% a scam.

Every single transaction I e ever had on PayPal was, in one way or another, MESSED UP! It's all on PayPal's end, too. They hold my money anywhere from 3-21 days, and won't give me a direct answer as to why. Customer service is NO HELP! Once my $300+ is released, I will be DONE WITH PAYPAL!

Despite the claims, PayPal does not offer seller protection. EVERY complaint, even those unjustified, will 100% of the time be decided in the buyer's favor. Even though your legitimate sell does not qualify for a return based on site rules, PayPal will allows force you to allow the return. This is not what they advertise. Sell at your own risk. Use other payment methods when available.

Buyer protection is a joke. It's not a straightforward process and they clearly default to and side with the seller. I have asked several times to speak to an agent, but no luck. I tried to appeal the decision against me. There is a 10 day window. Decision made yesterday, I tried to appeal and I was told the timeline had run out. Ridiculous.

Today someone stole from my boyfriend's account more then 130 through his PayPal account. He wrote to PayPal about situation, they investigated and the verdict was: nothing's wrong with this payment and closed the case. The place where money " went" was some game company named "Xsolla", which my boyfriend never heard about and never used their services. It's impossible to reach PayPal by phone and after closing the case impossible even to write them back and fight for your customer's rights. That is very irresponsible from PayPal which keeps bank data's of so many customers who are relying on their security and help in such kind of situations and in reality they turning their back on their customers.
Now we had to contact boyfriend's bank and ask for help and fair investigation from them.

PayPal is a joke! This is the second time I attempted to buy something from a merchant and had to use PayPal to complete the purchase. I hesitated hoping this time would be different. The first time I ever used PayPal I purchased goods and NEVER received my order. This time, I ordered merchandise, my purchase was for a bike trailer for my kiddos. I received a tracking number with this purchase, but NO bike trailer came in the mail... Instead I received a small miniature rubber toy. I complained to PayPal and asked them to investigate the company I did business with. Their response was to close my complaint and stated they did so because I had received my package along with a tracking number from the seller, even though I had explained I spent money for a product I did NOT receive. PayPal is okay with merchants ripping people off and still allowing them to operate business under PayPal. Buyer beware! I never have any issues when I use Amazon and will be sure to use them for EVERYTHING from now on. I did dispute the charge to my cc and cancelled the card as well. And cancelled my PayPal account. PayPal will NEVER have me as a consumer again!

"Seller Protection - PayPal Seller Protection is a protection we provide sellers from claims, chargebacks, or reversals that are based on the following basic requirements:
Unauthorized Transaction or Item Not Received".

If there is ANY other reason, including unknown reason, which happens with chargebacks when credit card companies do not bother to provide the reason, you won't be protected. Even if PayPal has proof that customer received what was ordered.

To add insult to injury, PayPal would keep these fraudulent customers, so they could rip off other sellers.

Paypal are allowing fraudulent companies such as Sophora Media Pte Ltd and VIP Auction to rob honest, hard-working, and often disabled people. They are not willing to investigate these unauthorised payments, despite a great many complaints from many victims (check reviews). Paypal's facilitating payments to these companies and their ongoing compliance is scandalous and shocking.

The GDPR is here for the europeans to protect their data and privacy. PayPal is breaking these laws, i am not allowed to delete my account/data. Therefor they are breaking laws. And they are unreachable. So i cant resolve it with them. This is my answer, a ton of horrible reviews. Back in the days before Ebay bought the place PayPal had a load of potential, now just stay away from it. Trust me, weird things are going to happen. It became a toy of hackers and the biggest crooked guys from the Silicon Valley. Truely stay away from PayPal. Your data isnt going to be save.

PayPal never cares about sellers.
In every dispute with clear evidence they will still refund the money to the buyer.
They are taking our money and give free products to the buyer. Not only they take tons of money from our sells they also don't care about us.
