My account wouldn't let me pay any longer and kept asking me to add an additional card to my account even though there was nothing wrong with my set up. Costumer service kept telling me it was a problem with just the one transaction when no transactions would go though, on any trusted sites. There was no problem with payment or funds on my end. I was more or less told "sorry I don't know" and wasn't offered any solution. Big waste of time and energy dealing with this company, they ran me around in circles with vague theories and ultimately didn't do anything to help me. Id just made a new account recently because I'd had other previous bad experiences with them and their awful customer service a few years ago. I should have stayed away, I'm just going to delete my account again and go back to good old fashioned credit cards.

I find it totally amazing that PayPal seems to be allowing companies that are not legitimate companies and scamming people to use their services. In order to get your money back, you have to pay shipping back to China, which is as much as the product.

I am shocked that even during this COVID crisis, you cannot contact PayPal support by phone OR by their website messenger. They are dealing with your money! I run a global call center that does not deal with financial transactions and we were able to have every agent work from home in a matter of days. GLOBALLY. In this age of technology, this is not hard to do.
They are rejecting resolutions, in my opinion, without even reviewing them. I was scammed by a fraudulent website and have questioned their resolution twice, and they have rejected it WITHOUT attempting to contact the seller. I'm very disappointed with them, and guess I'll have to suck this up and move on.

Recently you can not contact PayPal customer service. They are dealing with your money so if there is a dispute they do not have anybody for you to contact, but they will charge for the transaction, no problem with that. Try to stay away, not worth the trouble

I got scam by a buyer for my gaming laptop and they charge-back me and open up a case. Its been 5 months and the case is still open with no help at all. I contacted them through there phone and chat two months ago which they just told me to wait longer. Two months Later, I BBB them and they dont respond at all. I twitter them they ask for my account and case number and after i give it to them, they dont respond back no more. Dont sell stuff on eBay. EBay is no help at all, they told me to talk to PayPal about it. USPS wont help cause since he sent the package back because of eBay, i cant get insurance for it too. Now the thief has my laptop and i lost a lot of money because of it. Lesson Learn. Warning to others not to sell on eBay and expect a resolution if you get scam. Do NOT use PayPal for international bank transfers. They use third party operators that they don't tell you about nor do they have any information on. They are forcing me to give this third party operator a power of attorney to have the funds deposited into my account, but PayPal doesn't have my full name.
To change my name on PayPal I have to send in documents and their platform doesn't have a submit button!
Their support is terrible, the call option is disabled, their "Report a problem" flow is broken, the email option only sends auto responses, and the twitter option gives you the same reply over and over.
They don't care about providing proper answers or helping you find a solution. They keep regurgitating the same useless information. This has been the worst experience I've ever had and they refuse to revert the transaction and have the funds put back into my PayPal account.

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
