The overall reputation of the company reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding its customer service and support. Many reviews highlight frustrations with delayed transactions, ineffective resolution of disputes, and a lack of proactive communication. Customers frequently report feeling unsupported in cases of fraud or issues with received goods. However, some positive sentiments emerge, particularly regarding the perceived reliability of PayPal as a payment method for certain transactions, which customers associate with enhanced buyer protection. Despite this, the overwhelming trend indicates a critical need for improvement in customer service responsiveness and dispute resolution processes.

Forgot the password. Requested code sent to email, received it, entered it. Next, they ask for a second validation, and only option is via phone; I've since switched numbers, so that's not viable. No other options. Only access to customer service is via phone, NO EMAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR AN ONLINE COMPANY! Well, I'm abroad the UK and can't afford roaming tariffs. I can't contact them, can't reset the password, can't create a new account with my email (only a different one)... So I guess I'm screwed. Thanks, PayMoron.
Company called sposamore cheated me of 511 Euro.
The company markets its self as an Italian tailor. In addition, when asked by email they reply their products are tailored in Italy NOT CHINA.
After checking the many positive reviews on trust pilot and contacting the web shop, I placed an order.
My Item came from China not Italy and I refused to accept the DHL parcel, the parcel was back sent to china.
At sposamore website, it states, 100% money back guaranteed when paying with Paypal, and the customer is protected and refunded which is opposite to Paypal protection terms and conditions 3.2 Exceptions stated. Paypal protection will never apply, if the order is marked as custom in any way "all Sposamore orders will be marked custom as default as the claim to be tailoring company.
This contradiction make this a loophole that customer will be subject to and will lose as I did.
Paypal is informed and full documentations of this case were submitted, but paypal is not willing to do a thing and will continue allowing people to fall in to this loophole and profit on this unfortunate fraud and deliberate. It seems making money surpasses anything else.
Please be on this lockout to avoid this kind loophole and fake and fabricated reviews.
Please go to my review about sposamore in sitejabber for full review on this case or search the web for spsoamore and review. You will get a shock of what i uncovered.
Condescending "customer service" If you have any kind of dispute plan on waiting for months and then maybe get your money back. Be sure to have funding from a real company like American Express so you can get your money back.
An Ebay seller advertised new-in-box sewing machine and sent a used, yellowed, broken with machine with missing parts. The box was intact, but had been opened and taped shut. The machine was $1200. Paypal sent an email saying investigation needs to be turned over to UPS, if they did not hear back in 3 days the complaint would be closed. The email was automated and I could not answer. UPS DID NOT EVEN SHIP THE PACKAGE. It was evident that Paypal employees did not read the complaint and just wanted to get issues off their list. I am working with my credit card company to reverse the charge. I am also discontinuing my use of Paypal.
Basically stole 5000$ for 2 years because there is apparently an account with negative 150$ in my name; They wouldn't allow me to just cover it with an account balance; they demand I send them a USD check; WTF is the logic of that; just take the money from the account and pay it.
I'm have been using PayPal for quite a long time and generally, I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing that could be improved is the transaction speed between my PayPal and bank accounts, especially when I receive some refunds to PayPal
This platform is good, but they charge so much comission... I hope they could decrease. And allow users to use the same account for all the countries, because I lived in Venezuela and I'm now in Peru and I had to create two different accounts.
Paypal can be very simple and good but they have too many restrictions for international transfers, they really police transactions especially to indian nationals. They need to improve more so in this area of their service.
Pay Pal works fine for one time transactions, but beware of setting up reoccurring payments with PayPal. If the billing amount changes on a monthly bill, you can easily end up paying the bill twice when you change the payment amount. In my case the bill was paid for the original amount and paid again for the updated amount.
I spent almost an hour on the phone with Pay Pal to find out that their actiquated system does not allow you to update the amount to be paid on a reoccurring payment. When you update the payment amount, what happens is you set up a second payment to the same source. This is like nothing I have ever seen.
My advice is do not set up any account with PayPal to be paid with reoccurring payments. If you do choose to use PayPal's reoccurring payment system, beware that you cannot change the amount of the payment if your provider raises or lowers the amount you are billed. You must delete the current reoccurring payment and set it up again for the new amount.
I never had a problem with PayPal until I attempted to use their reoccurring payment system. If you choose to set up a reoccurring payment through PayPal beware that their system for this is antiquated. My advice is only use PayPal reoccurring payment system If you have no other option.
AVOID - PayPal doesn't care about you AT ALL!. They freeze your transactions and have no interest in helping you solve the issue, the customer service numbers either don't work or are not answered. They didn't care I was left stranded at an airport and missed my flight.
They hired people who dont speak good English well. I wasted 40 minutes on the call with the customer service person!
How does their business work? Only half the time do they recognize my password. I only use it to send money to my son now. Sometimes I try it (like just now) to buy something. Then they joke they dont think my password is right. Sure. No problem. I have other easy ways to pay. Just puzzled and curious why they enjoy messing with me. Some bored millennial sabotaging the business?
I got a dispute with banggood
1) The product is not as described and I can proof it, months later they are still selling it.
2) I went to the dispute centre, Paypal did not even read my complain
The asked me to send the product back and that is exact what the fraudulent seller wants. Because the costs are so high that this is not economical viable. In this way paypal support fraudulent sellers. There is also in the resolution centre no way to communicate with paypal.
Very dissapointed in the way paypal misuses its market dominant position
WHY CAN I NOT GET THE CORRECT INFO THE 1ST TIME, OR EVEN THE 3RD. EACH REP GIVES DIFF INFO ABOUT SAME ISSUE, OVER AND OVER. TAKING 10 MINS TO GET THRU NEW AUTOMATED SYSTEM, THEN REP LIES TO YOU. TAKING 6 CALLS TO FIX ONE PROBLEM, THEIR ERROR NOT MINE, FINALLY RESOLVED, AFTER 6Y CALLS, 4 HRS ON THE PHONE, AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED 12ST TIME. I DON'T HAVE THE TIME OT INCLINATION TO DO THIS. A YEAR AGO I WOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED PAYPAL TO ALL, TODAY I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCY OPENED IN 1999. I JUST CAN'T TRUST THEM ANYMORE. AND ALL OVER LESS THAN 100 BUCKS, BUT A LIE IS A LIE, AND IF THEY'LL DO IT ONCE THEY'LL DO AGAIN. NOT THE WAY I DO BUSINESS.
Paypal protects seller more than buyers because sellers pay them, but PayPal acts as an intermediary to make my payments more secure and has a system through which you can report the case and ask for your money back.
In general measures, Paypal has to continue investing in its platform, such as including the sale of coupons or gift cards!
PayPal Is Full Of It. I Had So Many Problems With Them And With My Account With Them. I Had Lost a Lot Of Money With Them. And For Some Reason My Account Has Been Closed Twice By Them For NO Reason At All. I Will Never Recommend Them To Anyone!
I was told that my recent payments were under a 72hr review, because of my spike in business. Isn't that the idea? Paypal is the biggest incompetent company I've ever dealt with. Because of this I lost out on two jobs. I wonder if there's a class action suit against them yet?
I attempted to purchase a phone through a website called Swappa a couple nights ago. Using PayPal to make the sale. There was an issue with the site, so the order didn't go through, however the funds were taken out of my account anyway. After contacting their customer service, who basically gave me the run around and told me to just contact my bank, I am now having to file a dispute to have my money returned, and also have a new credit card printed.
I sell on eBay
Money is sent to pay pal
I enter my tracking info on packages
Anything to make it run smoothly but not quite
I received a $105.00 payment 4/25
I still don't have it I called and got it off hold which is what happens to funds once eBay is payed it's sent to pay pal and is put on hold eventually beinv released to show up available on your account summary in pay pal
To have it sent to the bank or a card it takes an additional 72 hours to do that
So I sold item 4/25 was paid 4/25
Had $105 taken off hold yesterday and sent it to my card but was given the up to 72 hourhours
Answer: I would not recommend PayPal to anyone for anything they're a joke of a business
Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
Answer: They have become a money laundry scamming allowing company. Stay away at any cost.
Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
Answer: They dont. They wait for you to forget it. You get money back if you fill in a form after 180 days.
Answer: Do never send money to PayPal. That money is lost. This company has become a Giants money laundry company.
Answer: No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.
Answer: It doesn't matter if you report them or not PayPal won't do nothing about it they continued to let the scammers operate on their site and do not protect consumers
Answer: SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT LOT, THEY CLAIM TO REFUND AMOUNTS PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DO NOT ARRIVE THATS "BS" I HAVE HAD 3 SUCH CLAIMS FROM 14 TRANSACTIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT A REFUND DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THEY ARE CROOKS, FULL STOP, KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THEM.
