Prescription was filled incorrectly--glasses not useable. I ordered glasses from Zenni with the same prescription and can see perfectly with them. Payne seems unwilling to admit they made a mistake. I'm surprised more of an effort was not made to keep me as a customer, since I had purchased many pairs of glasses from Payne previously.
A second pair that I bought with a different order number has been a problem, and after a month, it is still not resolved. I just keep getting answers through email to do this and do that and report what you see and take pictures and attach them. It's never ending.
I used to buy my glasses for my mom off Zenni but they were constantly breaking! My mom has had a pair of these for at least 8 months and they haven't broke, so we ordered another pair! They come within a good amount of time, and the price is great.
My 6 year old boy goes through glasses like crazy but these frames and lenses have been very impressive. They have held up really well and I will continue to purchase his glasses through Payne Glasses.
I love the bending hinges for kids and my daughter like how you change the colors. I also received my shipment before estimated delivery date. They were great about changing the prescription after I had ordered.
My glasses were nicely made but does not darken yo shades in the sunlight which I paid to get these type of lenses. It barely darkens in the sunlight, to the point you can barely tell the lenses change. As a matter of fact, this is the second pair I have received like this after paying for these particular lenses that gets dark in the sunlight. I'm not getting what I paid for.
The glasses are so great, they look just like they did with the try on feature. I didn't need to adjust them at all. I have since ordered 3 more pairs. I now have 5 pairs for less than I would pay at the eye doctors, even using my insurance. I love them.
I have bought over 20 pairs of glasses from Payne Glasses for myself and my family. Never had any problems and love the prices and selection. Less than a third of the cost I used to pay at my optometrist with insurance!
The only difficult thing was making up my mind which one to buy. I like them all. I bought prescription glasses and the instructions are easy to follow. My eyes have different specs but my glasses fit perfectly and delivered much sooner than I expected.
Payne glasses have a great price for high index progressive lenses. They have a great process to ensure the lenses are positioned correctly even though you're ordering online. They arrived very quickly too. I will be a life-long customer.
It has everything that my niece needs to learn as she is going to play golf after years. Thankfully she saw the funny side and she is very happy with it. A really good buy and a bit of fun at the same time :)

I have been purchasing glasses from Payne for a couple of years and never been disappointed. The quality is great, so many frames to choose from and usually takes a week to get them. Will keep buying from here.
I was very Impressed with this company from the ordering process to the delivery. They were quick and efficient. I even had to do an exchange for a better fit and since I have a complicated prescription. I received excellent service and a quick turn around on that pair as well. I am extremely satisfied with my glasses and with the service I received. I will definitely recommend them to others!
I have ordered glasses from Payne 2 times and they did it perfectly. Great product. Prescription correct. Very nice carry case. I started buying glasses from Zenni. I ordered a duplicate to one I had gotten from them before and they sent something with a totally different prescription. I argued with them on the phone for days and threatened to take them to court if they did not do a refund.
Third pair I've ordered from PG. One pair for my son (he still has those). My last pair I loved but were lost. New pair fits great, looks great and cost a fraction of what I used to pay at an eye doctor for glasses. I will continue to use PG for my family's needs.
This was my second time ordering from Payne Glasses. These glasses are nice quality for the money. My first order took a little longer in shipping than expected, but they made up for it with this second order. It came almost a week earlier than expected! Go ahead and take the chance... it's worth it!
I have ordered a few times over the past 2 years. Very satisfied with every pair. Quality made, best pricing ever! I now have a different pair for each day of the week, and didn't break the bank. I get compliments on each pair and always make sure to tell them where I purchased them.
I don't know where the original error was, with me or with them, but my first pair of glasses didn't work out, but they re-did them, even let me choose different frames, and now they are perfect. The customer service was exceptional.
Photo taken by Payne Customer rep indicated the combination of items purchased would work. This proved to be untrue and Payne seemed to have no way of handling the matter that didn't involve purchasing still another pair of glasses. Come to think of is, they wouldn't even credit the amount paid or the clip-on sunglasses that didn't fit a frame their own photo showed would fit perfectly.
I have recently gotten both myself and my wife two pairs of prescription glasses each from Payne Glasses. The online process was easy to enter the Rx information and they offered a very wide selection of frames, lenses, and finishing options. One of our four pairs of glasses took a few weeks longer than the rest to receive and it would have been nice to receive updates on the delay ahead of time. Having had the glasses for a few weeks now... the lenses are very good and the prescription is spot on. The frames are good and appear to be well made but feel a bit more second or third tier. Not bad mind you, just not great.
