If you're looking for parts this is not the site for you. They do nothing other than send an order to a manufacturer to request a part be shipped to you. Your order will not even be processed in a weeks time. It's simply sent to a dealer or other business for a part. Parts.com has 0 inventory! None! It's like walking next door to a neighbor and asking to buy parts from him of which he has none, so he takes a while and shops around online and orders, then has them sent to your house. You're better off just using a local factory dealer and saving yourself a week or more of no communication from parts.com.
Completely trashed a trip I had planned by ordering parts 2 1/2 weeks in advance, only to find out a week later that the order had not even processed, because the vendor parts.com is ordering from (ford in California) has the part back ordered and has to order it from ford of Detroit. Just a complete waste of time as a customer. Will never use again.
This must a family owned business because the manager only has a first name. Lol... where the same rep answers the phone. Hopefully, future customers read this before purchasing an item that may need returning.
Diagram along with part number. Pricing was better than E Bay, Pelican etc...
Part was to me within 4 day delivery. Mercedes Benz wanted $ 267.00.
Parts.com was $ 87.00 and that included delivery. Awesome.
Just wanted to say to the whiner when I 1st came on this web site sounded
Just like my ex wife nothing was ever good enough. Go get a bottle of milk
And suck on it.
Ordered indicators for my R6, never came and now 1 month later I am yet to received a reply to the numerous emails I've sent or explanation to what is happening. I have had no refund and cannot make any contact with this 'Business'. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. COWBOYS
The parts diagrams are wrong, the part numbers are wrong. You can't trust information from this place. They don't verify fitment even with your VIN number. Descriptions are wrong or inaccurate. Expect me to pay return shipping for their mistake! NEVER AGAIN!
I called them up listed the part and they said they had it in stock, then after a bit of back and forth and asking detailed questions they then tell me suddenly the part is no longer available and then upon grilling them about this they got nasty and hostile. I then waited a day or so called from a different number and ordered the part, just before I gave my credit card and information I dropped the act and asked why they had it now but not when I had very specific questions of the quality and warranty. I didn't even get a response they hung up on me immediately. Don't trust this company or beware you may get scammed.
TLDR: Don't bother. They will just cancel your order after a few weeks.
I typically take online reviews with a grain of salt since people typically only leave reviews when the experience is bad. In this case, don't bother as the reviews were 100% accurate. In my case, despite the negative reviews, I decided to order from Parts.com since their prices were mildly better than other parts suppliers. Big mistake.
After 3 weeks of my parts being "in stock" (but not shipped) and various communications with their "support" team regarding the status, I received an email canceling my order. I understand that Parts.com acts as a middle man between the consumers and various dealers/suppliers. This business model makes sense to me, but Parts.com needs to be held accountable for consistently partnering with unreliable parts suppliers. From the other reviews, it seems like I'm just one of the many to be let down by their service.
Purchased a driver's door mirror for a 2011 Nissan Murano. I entered the VIN into the order form as instructed. They sent me the wrong part that didn't even work per the VIN according to my dealer here. Then, since it is electric adjustable parts.com would NOT take it back since electric parts are completely nonreturnable.
Also, their shipping rates are horrible. Ground shipping for a box 18"x16"x12" and weighing less than 4 lbs was over $62.
Buy from anyone else but these guys.
If you do buy from them make GD sure that the part you are buying is the correct part.
Late shipping, wrong part arrived in mail, and the most disrespectfull customer service rep ever! Im nearly 40yo so i've seen my share. And they also told me that they knowingly sent me the wrong part because they heard that it will work as a replacement! Really people really!
First I made the order they charged my card then they sent me a notice stating they want another $80 for shipping I told them to cancel my order immediately. They sent me an email stating that the charges will not be made to my Visa. Now over a week later they charge my Visa info they won't give me any information if they sent my item where's the tracking? Now I have to order the same part from another company but my money's tied up and they refused to refund the money. I never received my part. If the order was cancelled why is the money out of my bank and now I have to go through the long process to dispute the charge which is going to cost a lot of time which is a lot of money and a lot of frustration and stress the company parts.com their shysters and I would never recommend them for anybody they're thieves
Do not order!... charged my paypal account...
Gave phony shipping tracking number... never received item. Does not return calls. 37% customer satisfaction rate... awful company...
I bought a left tail 1first were late in receiving the part wen I opened the box it was the right tail light never will purchase a parts your better buying elswere upset customer
Slow shipping. They don't accept customer calls (leave a message). They don't reply to messages. They don't ship to Canada. Horrible service.
