Pandora is a superstar. I like the method of selection and the control that you have with some other music streaming applications, but the amount of music and variety of channels and genre's, as well as the updatability of their database. The mobile app and the option to pay to opt out of ads is a plus. These are things that come with the territory of being a leader in the game. It's not my favorite music streaming website out there, but it is easy to use, well known, fresh, streamlined and all in all a good product packaged well.
I like the music library Pandora has to offer. I use the free app. I have tried to create different playlists with different genres. It is possible to put requests in, but those songs may never be added. I find it frustrating that liking a song by a random artist can send the playlist onto a totally different track. You should be able to dislike a song for that playlist without it being deleted from possible songs for you. Overall it is a fine way to listen to music.
Since I love music, I love Pandora- the iPhone Apps. From the time when I have started using iPhone, Pandora is the only choice I have been opt for music. It is very simple, clean, and outstanding for iPhone. Whenever you come hard to take decisions on internet radio, I prefer Pandora for you. It has to be get experienced at least once and you too. If you are a iPhone user, then I need you to use this app for music.
Absolutely LOVE Pandora! Streaming is seamless. Commercial free listening is great. Playlist creation is easy. The artist suggestions are fantastic and definitely enhances my listening enjoyment! Definitely recomnended!
I haven't been able to use Pandora for almost a year because I've been traveling out of the country. I wish I could get it in India and Eastern Europe. I haven't subscribed so the occassional ads are something I had to tolerate, but growing up in the 60s with TV it's really a minimal price to pay. It's one of my favorite sources for listening to music.
Pandora is a great website for those interested in listening to a variety of songs similar to an artist that they enjoy. It's a free service with a limited amount of time to listen to that will get you started with the option of paying a yearly fee to have unlimited listening time, the ability to skip more songs, and to download their application. The website contains a lot of information about artists, access to a large number of artists, and a variety of different genres. The biggest con of the website is the fact that it's available only to US users and is unavailable outside of the United States, but there are devices that are able to connect to the service and stream. The application runs in Adobe's multi-OS platform allowing for it to playback in Windows and Mac, but it also runs in Linux with very few problems even without it being listed as compatible.
Overall, the service is great and the quality of the music is great. The information is accurate.
This is my favorite music app I have installed on my iPod and my cellphone. I do tend to also use Pandora on my laptop and as well as on my PS3 at times. I love how it plays music and songs and artists based on my likes and dislikes of previous music I had listened to on the app or website.
I really enjoy listening to Pandora, moreso than I do listening to something like SiriusXM. I like that you can thumbs up/down tracks, and their suggestions for music I might enjoy are usually pretty on-point.
My qualms: They should pay the artists more when they play their songs (but all streaming services are guilty of paying bands abysmally), and also the frequency of the ads drives me crazy - but I'm too cheap to pay for the premium service.
I can't live without this website! I love the music selections they mix in, and since I'm a music freak I love discovering new music everytime I turn on Pandora.
The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because recently something very odd has been happening. I'll have a rock station on (forgot which one), and all of a sudden WHAM! I get attacked by "Epic Rap Battles of History" and then I have to sit there and listen to Billy Mays and Chuck Norris battle it out rap style... or Justin Beiber and Beethoven bash out each other's music. This usually leaves me trying to catch my breath because I'm laughing so hard, and gets the stupid raps stuck in my head for two weeks after hearing them. And then everytime I listen to Beethoven I'll remember him telling Justin Beiber, "I'd slap you, but in Germany we don't hit little girls!"
Soooo yeah. Great! Now I have Darth Vader vs. Hitler stuck in my head. Damn you Pandora!
"Are you still listening?" OMG, I was so tired of Pandora just shutting off, to ask that question. Well, yes, I WAS LISTENING, until you just quit!
That is Pandora's way of trying to get you to PAY MONEY, and "upgrade". Well, NO, not when I can go elsewhere to get the music I want to listen to all day at work. I must say that Jango is so much better! (middle finger lifted on the way out...)
Love ability to play music relevant to artist's I like. Great for sampling, exploring, finding and enjoying NEW music/musicians from different parts of the world in the various genres out there. Have come to realize that the Music Bigwigs in USA have denied us a lot of great world music and artists beyond anything I ever imagined.
I listen to Pandora daily while at the office. However, today I was disturbed by an endorsement by 45 for a candidate in California.
I listen to Pandora because I do not want to hear anything political, especially ANYTHING having to do with 45 and his administration! I will not be listening to Pandora anymore, because as they have a right to advertise what they want, I have also have a choice to cancel my prescription and take my money elsewhere.
You blew it!
One of the best sites on the internet. Pandora has introduced me to so much new music that I love, I can't even counbt anymore. It is on constanly in my house and in my car via their great iphone app. I love it, and can't say enough about it. It has changed my interaction with music, and has an incredible engine to find music that is similar to my taste.
Pandora is my daughter's favorite way of getting her music. She's been listening since about 13 yrs. Old, and has only great things to say. In fact, recommended it to me.
I dont understand why my radio which is set up to play falling in reverse radio plays only rap. I literally heard one rock song for a solid 2 hour drive. Whats the deal? Fix the algorithm its broken.
Pandora is very good.It just suffers from poor-timing.If it was around a decade ago, it would definitely take the crown for best music streaming service. If only this was 2006(before Spotify)
What the F*** happened to my Pandora account? I pay about $50/year for my account, and recently encountered a 12 SECOND AD DELAY to listen to my selected songs. I am cancelling my account. Bummers that they've gotten super greedy now. My Tidal account is looking good.
Bought my mum a bracelet from here for her birthday a few days ago at the Trafford centre branch in Manchester. The lady who served me was very polite and gave me excellent customer service.
They followed my teenage daughter and I in the Cherry Creek Mall Pandora as soon as we came in even though we bought something. Totally ignored the white couple who came in to browse. My daughter had never experienced this before and was so confused. After leaving a complaint, store manager called to apologise but made it worse with a dismissive attitude. I would never step back in this store again and I urge anyone of colour, watch where you shop. RACIAL PROFILING SEEMS TO BE ALIVE AND WELL HERE.
Pandora is incredibly easy to use. It's nice that it can be used on my phone or computer. Buying Pandora is great too, since there are no commercials!
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
Pandora's reputation is mixed, with customers appreciating its diverse music selection and personalized stations, often noting the app's ease of use. However, significant complaints revolve around reliability issues, such as frequent interruptions and repetitive song choices, which detract from the listening experience. Customer service also faces criticism, particularly regarding difficulties in account management and unresponsive support channels. While some customers express satisfaction with the jewelry products and in-store experiences, concerns about product quality and return policies indicate a need for improvement. Overall, Pandora must address these service and reliability issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
