Pandora's reputation is mixed, with customers appreciating its diverse music selection and personalized stations, often noting the app's ease of use. However, significant complaints revolve around reliability issues, such as frequent interruptions and repetitive song choices, which detract from the listening experience. Customer service also faces criticism, particularly regarding difficulties in account management and unresponsive support channels. While some customers express satisfaction with the jewelry products and in-store experiences, concerns about product quality and return policies indicate a need for improvement. Overall, Pandora must address these service and reliability issues to enhance customer satisfaction.

I chose one star because I had to enter something. My preference is "0."
I'm not sure how Pandora got such a high rating, to be blunt. I have used Pandora for several years and am very disappointed in the current status. I am pretty much an eclectic listener and today I opted for some banjo music. I was seeking a station. After aproximately twenty attempts (no, I am not exaggerating), I could not find one "banjo, instrumental" station that played traditional banjo music. I heard some bluegrass, but there is more to banjo than just bluegrass. Be that as it may, it is not the issue. I heard Oriental, punk, industrial, rock - everything else but what my search requested.
I am currently a "free" subscriber. I previously was a paying listener but Google screwed up my subscription parms for many apps and I have not taken the time to upgrade again to Pandora, directly. And I won't. I have had this issue with many other genres as Pandora crosses the line for suggestions, offering music that were not even close to the stations I selected.
I don't know about everyone else, but I am through with Pandora. It is more frustrating than entertaining, for me.
I am still baffled how Pandora maintains such a high review factor! Yowsers! Is it because I am not a premium user? Well, if that is the case, that policy won't win me over to pay again. Maybe I am just in another world (one where I receive that which I requested)!
That was a bad job and service. My girlfriend and I have long wanted to buy a car and worked hard. The company turned out to be bad and took my money. I didn't even understand how. Fortunately, I found a way out. >>( rb. Gy / c9fbrd) << I was pleasantly surprised by the operational work of the company. I like them!
This is just my opinion:
We listen to Pandora every afternoon and have discovered when you create a station utilizing an artist, after about an hour we start hearing repeats, more songs are from free compilations rather than releases by the artist, and after two hours it completely loses the plot and begins to choose songs that are in no way associated with the time, genre or anything remotely connected with the chosen artist.
However, when you select a song for your station, the selections are much more related to the time period of the artist as well as genre & genre evolution of the artist. It can go all afternoon with nary a repeat.
And finally, I mentioned in another review that utilizing Pandora via the online music option of the Marantz receiver, we never hear a commercial on our free account. Although I have to admit we also have a hardware firewall on our network running pfSense, and it could be truncating the commercials. It literally shuts down non functional outbound communications from devices like phones, computers, receivers, Alexa, etc.
After dumping the log of truncated outbound messages, I was astounded by the number of messages every minute being constantly sent from your digital devices to Google (massive amounts), Microsoft, Amazon, and a large variety of marketing companies with cookies on your phones & computers. Alexa was incredible. You realize it sends most of what you say within earshot - so if you are at all concerned about privacy, take some basic steps and control the amount of data they collect from you that allows them to design ways to incent your behavior before outright controlling it.
Hope all this helps, and keep on loving music while maintaining your privacy!
I finally switched to another music site today. I got tired of hearing the same seven or eight songs on Pandora. I have 30 or 40 stations, I've liked hundreds of songs over the last couple years, but Pandora seems to be playing the same seven or eight songs on random (yes, most of the groups are check marked for shuffle). Is this a strategy on their part to get listeners to upgrade and unlock more songs, etc.? If so, it worked. I've now unlocked more songs on my Prime account.
Very good customer service & experience. The company has been very helpful. The company will provide you with any additional information.
I loved using this app until I started hearing the same Ad promoting Black Lives Matter over and over again. While Police Officers are laying their lives down this app is celebrating a group of destructive liberals that don't know their heads from their asses, burying businesses all around the country. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR ALLOWING THIS!
Pandora constantly cuts off end of songs - by a minute - and goes on to the next. Extremely disconcerting and leaves a lot of sing off for 1960-80 music.
If you need customer service you can't call anybody you have to email them and when they email back to you you can't even reply to that email if they get it wrong I have gone ahead and told them because they decided to go ahead and cancel my student discount and charge me almost triple the amount for the year and they won't even give me a refund after I canceled my subscription on the exact day that they decided to charge me the higher amount so I will never use Pandora again and I would always tell others to stay the $#*! away from it and yes I use the derogative language because I can't say how horrible I was treated by not being able to talk to anyone so yes Pandora sucks to the highest regard
I've ordered a birthday gift for my friend, and I asked to send it to me first, with birthday card in box. I received a package two days before birthday.
They sent me a cheep ring against the "birthday cake" charm with happy birthday on it. I was upset... So I texted to customer service. They told me, that this charm is out of stock and I can't order it. Also, they want me to send a ring back, and the only thing they can propose me is 10% off the next order. I asked if they can find this item in stock directly in store somewhere near me. They said yes, but they can't send it to me. After, I asked about the discount, I wanted to use it in store. But. They told me: This discount can be used only for online order.
As a result of discussion... I must send this item back to get a refund and discount. I wasted my time, money.
Absolutely astounding service! Truly amazing and very efficient. They were very polite and nice. Once I walked in I was greeted the most polite way. I was not only given the best advice on what to purchase but was also just amazed with the amazing attitude!
Why can you see the next song or list coming up next to play? That capability would make Pandora #1! And more people use the over other two top competitors. Apple/Spotify both cost too much. Pandora only 4.99, fair pricing. And neither Apple And I believe nor Spotify allow users to shuffle your genres.
It's not that they give ads after a few songs. It's that they are political or similar. I don't listen to music to catch up on current events or get political influence. Fast food or air freshener commercials are fine but they shouldn't put anything political. Definitely whoever is in charge never worked in sales.
Pandora does what it's supposed to, it allows you to listen to music. I can't complain about that since it has some nice variety available. However, I run into the fact it constantly repeats the same stuff over and over on certain channels or I'll listen to movie soundtracks and suddenly a non-movie soundtrack song is in there. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, pandora is an alright music streaming service so shouldn't be overlooked.
Your jewelry is stunning. I've got a bracelet and it is so great, beautiful and nice. I'll ask my boyfriend to buy something else for me.
Vorsicht! Keine Daten geben!
I really enjoy pandora and listen everyday! I'm sick of hearing your negative adds about our president Donald Trump! Leave politics to the professionals! There are a lot of people that are on the verge of dropping your station regardless of how much we enjoy our music!
I seriously had this for maybe two months. My other one broke in half from just washing my hands in hot water. Definitely never buying from Pandora again. Look what happened to my $100 ring. This all was from carrying groceries with a PLASTIC bag that the ring got hooked on. $100 ring SHOULDN'T be able to bend like this...
To complicated to use can't get to downloads or favorites without going through a lot of other apps at least this is my experience didn't keep it long to try to figure it out
I am super pissed along with others after listening to the ad tonight that does nothing but bash Trump, me and a lot of listeners are great supporters of him and don't friggin appreciate it! There is no damn reason to put an ad like that! Why don't you bash Obama! NEVER HEARD THAT! This is bull$#*!! Stay out of politics! We have a right to like our President and not hear this crap! We hope he gets in next year! Eat that! Stick to music and not your liberal ways that are so sick!
I have been a proud member of listening to Pandora music both for free and monthly payments for over a decade till now 2019.
I recently left San Francisco for few reasons. One is because working at St. Anthony Foundation where Franciscans were adamant to turn me one of them. Second issue was working working for Senator Leno against now Mayor London Breed who is well connected to Now Governor Newsom whose wife is in the movie industry.
So I left California as I am as well an aspiring Screenwriter. After publishing my first book and written a couple features all were discredited since all members mentioned above pushed thr envelop for me to be a part of the catholic church disregarding my dreams and aspirations to continue writing for the big screen.
Now as a proud member of Pandora listening club I am disgusted that Pandora been in the East Bay where I also lived in Berkeley to compromise the pleasure of listening to music by purposely stop every song I'm listening to in the middle of the song so I cant enjoy listening to music. Sprint advised me to call Pandora Technical support at *******100.
The power of the Catholic church as today I am an Agnostic.
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
