Don't waste your money. I just wanted to have mt 14 karat gold bracelet, very expensive, repaired. Called Customer Service. Given no help at all since it was out of warranty. Not worth the money or the aggravation.
They do tend to replay the same 100 out of 500 songs on your playlist. Consequently, you end up clicking "I'm tired of this track" which is a skip. After a few skips you're stuck listening to the SAME sings you heard earlier. Possibly a way to get people to pay for the 'unlimited skips' upgrade.
Before there were many options, I used Pandora. However, I found the service less than intuitive. It is supposed to learn what you like as you favorite certain songs/artists. Pandora often played obscure selections and songs performed live by the artist (not the greatest quality). After a couple of years, I moved on to other services like MOG, iHeartRadio, Slacker, etc...
Its impossible to work with! Constantly locks up and freezes! Navigation is horrible! I miss the simple good ole days, and it seemed like it used to have better songs in their playlists
If your curious, trust me its not my computer!
I ordered two separate orders within hours on one another and met the criteria for a bigger discount and Pandora absolutely REFUSED to combined my orders to give me $18.54 more off (5% more) because it was against their "state terms and conditions". They would rather lose a sale instead of keeping a good customer happy over the holidays. They rarely offer good sales and they are way overpriced anyway. Drew, a customer service supervisor, did not care at all about doing the right thing. He went strictly by the book. From now on, I will buy from Jared's. BYE BYE PANDORA!
Pandora does what it's supposed to, it allows you to listen to music. I can't complain about that since it has some nice variety available. However, I run into the fact it constantly repeats the same stuff over and over on certain channels or I'll listen to movie soundtracks and suddenly a non-movie soundtrack song is in there. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, pandora is an alright music streaming service so shouldn't be overlooked.
Based on my wide range of music genre preferences and easy like/dislike choices. 98% of what is played is what I prefer. Instantly stops current playing song with a thumbs down vote. Shows "Why this selection" for new songs. The only disadvantage is the lack of creating unique playlists. I look at Pandora as a broadcast station that plays what I like in no particular order mostly because I choose randomizing the stations. I took some time to listen to various channels and add them remove some based on my likes/dislikes and no have a very good selection from classical to metal that I prefer.
I can't say that I am not satisfied with iTunes app, everything works fine. But recently I discovered something even better. This is Pandora music website. Like for now, everyday I listen to music from there and I am very satisfied with the approach they built and the quality of content. Great idea!
I am super pissed along with others after listening to the ad tonight that does nothing but bash Trump, me and a lot of listeners are great supporters of him and don't friggin appreciate it! There is no damn reason to put an ad like that! Why don't you bash Obama! NEVER HEARD THAT! This is bull$#*!! Stay out of politics! We have a right to like our President and not hear this crap! We hope he gets in next year! Eat that! Stick to music and not your liberal ways that are so sick!
I finally switched to another music site today. I got tired of hearing the same seven or eight songs on Pandora. I have 30 or 40 stations, I've liked hundreds of songs over the last couple years, but Pandora seems to be playing the same seven or eight songs on random (yes, most of the groups are check marked for shuffle). Is this a strategy on their part to get listeners to upgrade and unlock more songs, etc.? If so, it worked. I've now unlocked more songs on my Prime account.
I really enjoy pandora and listen everyday! I'm sick of hearing your negative adds about our president Donald Trump! Leave politics to the professionals! There are a lot of people that are on the verge of dropping your station regardless of how much we enjoy our music!
There is no point in listening to Pandora. Turn on your radio, You'll get the same generic corporate crap there. Go to Spotify where you can decide what you want to listen to. Pandora's "curated" music is nothing more than a way to screen out any indie artist's that might want to challenge the status quo.
Go with Apple Music. At least there, if an indie artist has their music out you can hear it.
We don't need another stinkin' corporate suck up as our source of music.
I love using Pandora, on my computer, on my phone, in my car. It would be nice if I could pick the songs, like on Spotify, but its free and it introduces me to new songs. It's a great product. I know they will have competition soon from Apple. We will see how they do!
As of yesterday, my app updated to a new face. Biggest complaint, shuffle isn't available and doesn't work the way it used to. I LOVED pandora because I could get such a variety of music back to back. Now that I can't shuffle my stations, I'm stuck listening to one station or listening to a playlist. If this isn't fixed asap, im going to stop using pandora. Im so disappointed.
I love Pandora, but the ads, man... They ruin half of the fun for me. Too many good stuff gets ruined by ads these days... They are getting more and more. After a while there won't be any real things, just ads! Phh
I enjoy their music and I pay for Pandora Plus, so I don't get commercials. My only complaint is with their service and technical developers. Their Android app has been so bad for many years, they can never seem to get right. It's a joke. So many problems. Trying to email their support team about Android app issues is the most worthless experience in the world.
I have been using pandora for 3 months now and am a very satisfied customer.
With Pandora, you may create as many stations(easily done by genre, artist, etc) as you need. You can edit who plays on the station. You can ban a song with a simple click. You can skip about 10 times per station, per hour. They have almost every artist i can think of. If you thumbs up a song, it will play more often. It is finely tuned to my musical tastes for whatever mood I'm in. It plays on any, and every device, which means that you can send it from your connected blu tooth device.
At $4.95 a month, it is only $60 per year, or about 45-60 songs, if you were to buy them at 99cents or $1.29. If you are like me and believe that people deserve to get paid for the products they provide to you, then this is a fair price.
I literally use Pandora every day. I have it on my iPhone and stream the music over my Bluetooth in my car whenever I drive. I just turn the key and internet radio streams almost instantly in my car with no wires attached. The app is a little buggy and sometimes skips songs, but overall, they're great.
Horrible service. It will only allow two stations to be downloaded with approximately 10 songs each for (OFF LINE) listening. Not worth my money. The company would not accept my cancellation and don't bother calling as the voicemail message states you will not be able to speak to anyone. What the hell kind of business is this?
For no money I get to hear music immediately from performers I just learned about, and sometimes I get good new references when they suggest music in the direction of some of my favorite channels.
The commercials are very tolerable. Sure the mix can be a bit narrow on some of my channels, but when I want to go deep I fall back on my collection of recordings.
I use it as a TV commercial-buster through my Roku. Three buttons and I'm listening to a song instead of a commercial break.
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
Pandora has a rating of 3 stars from 542 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Pandora most frequently mention customer service and credit card. Pandora ranks 1st among Radio sites.
