Please be warned. DO NOT ever buy from Pajar.com. This company is a sham! And is dubious in practice.
They take your money for a purchase and then you never hear from them again nor receive your purchase. No one ever answers the phone. And when you have an online chat regarding your order, they will tell you "we're opening an investigation into your order and will contact you" but you NEVER hear from them.
Do not buy from this company.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT FROM POOR QUALITY!
These boots are RARELY used and have ripped in multiple places. After speaking with Amalia from Pajar, I was advised to take the boots to my local shoemaker to get them fixed at my expense. I should have done my research prior to purchasing Pajar as this seems to be a very common complaint of poor quality. Don't overpay for this brand as you will be disappointment.
TWO SIZE 8's ordered at the same time were respectively 1.5 sizes TOO LARGE AND 1.5 sizes TOO SMALL. They refused to make correction after politely dragging me along until after my credit card dispute window closed. Over 1,000usd for unusable boots. As I see other reviews, I can expect frostbite as well, regardless of <40f rating by Pajar. Disappointed is an understatement.
MANUFACTURE SIZING NOT TO ANY STANDARD... IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT!
You'll regret every dollar you spend on Pajar products. They do not live up to the advertising and are a true waste of money- you will be wet and cold and your toes will freeze! I bought 5 of their products and had to then go out and rebuy winter gear that actually works because Canada actually does have winter. There are much better products out there for much less money made by companies that care much much more about their customers!
They promote themselves as a Canadian heritage brand -SHAME on them! This makes the cruel joke of their products even crueler as you shiver in your boots, Canada is much better than that!
This company practices false advertising. They imply "Made in Canada". When the 280 dollar boots arrived it has "Made in China" written all over it. More made in China garbage. This nonsense has to stop.
I did order a pair of boots a month ago. They never shipped. Winter is over so I contacted to them and asked to cancel my order. They said they can't do it. This is pretty bizarre I will contact to my bank.
Please don't order from them!
Charge for return and you don't have possibility to return in store! Never again
We have so many choice to buy online,
And return so expensive in canada.
I suggest you don't spend your money on this brand. The quality is not worth 500 dollar jacked and the return process takes forever. And i have to pay for the return. I always do online shopping and i never pay for the return fee. But this $#*!y coat. Wasting my time wait for them to instruct me how to do return and i have to pay.
I purchased a pair of Pajar boots from Sail on Tuesday. I was looking for a light weight warm boot for work as I am outdoors quite a bit and these fit the bill. I have worn them for two days and they are NOT rated to -30. My feet are freezing even with wearing a pair of wool socks! NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I recommend you purchase a boot by Sorel.
Would you please tell me your feeling when you pay $699.00 plus 13% tax, the jacket costed S789.87 CAD and the jacket was only good for 2 winters and disintegrating on the 3rd winter.
I can not believe Pajar brand has a really low quality for the big cost. I'll not recommend to all my friends, relatives and associates about your Pajar brand.
I purchased the jacket because I trusted the Pajar brand and I'm really care for the jacket but now all the black vinyl trims (wrist, pockets, neck & bottom of the coat) are cracked & peeling. I'm embarrassed to wear it in public.
I send photos to Pajar customer service and they told me "Since this jacket is not covered by the warranty, we are not able to repair the jacket.
The best solution I can offer you is to contact our authorized seamstress to evaluate your jacket"
STAY AWAY STAY AWAY from PAJAR brand
PLEASE BE AWARE... DO NOT BUY BOOTS FROM THIS COMPANY. I FEEL LIKE I AM WALKING ON TWO PLANKS OF WOOD; THE SOLES ARE SO DARN HARD. THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL, AND WHEN IT COMES TO WARMTH... HA! A REAL JOKE. MY TOES FREEZE AFTER 10 MINUTES AND THIS IS IN A MILD WINTER TEMPERATURE. IMAGINE WHEN IT IS -30. SO, EXCUSE MY EXPRESSION, BUT THESE PAJAR BOOTS ARE A PIECE OF ——. MY DAUGHTER HAS A PAIR OF PAJAR BOOTS AND SHE ALSO HATES THEM.
Don't ever buy from them, they are horrible rude and will never exchange or refund items.we have send emails for weeks and none of them make sense
Wore $300 boots 10 times in office.
Fell apart from sole on both boots.
Incredibly poor quality. Glue disintegrates.
Similar to the other reviews, I have never experienced such terrible customer service from a retailer as I did with Pajar. I ordered a pair of boots and started contacting them about a month later as I had not received them. Since I was never able to get an answer by email, I started to call them regularly and spoke with the same person every time - Tracy. I kept being told they were looking into it and she kept promising me a refund, which never materialized. After four months (yes, FOUR MONTHS!) of being friendly and patient and not having received either a refund or the boots, I finally expressed that I was not prepared to wait any longer and they needed to get me my refund immediately. Tracy hung up on me! When I called back, she hung up on me again! This is beyond unacceptable treatment of a customer. Who does that?!? If they expect to remain in business, they need to entirely revamp their customer service department. I would recommend that you stay away from this company and their products. They evidently do not care about their customers.
This company is the worst! They take forever to send out your merchandise, and they are rude and unresponsive! Every bit of my ordering was a hassle, and after a company error sent me the wrong item, I went to SM to complain. Because I complained about their customer service I was BANNED from ordering in future (as if I would) and they are not sending me the item I ordered in the first place! DO NOT BOTHER!
I bought my first pair of Pajar boots online from Hudson's Bay. When I received them, there was glue coming out from underneath the patches which was quite visible and unsightly. I wasn't expecting such poor workmanship from a high-end company like this but I decided it could be just a one-off product. I contacted The Bay but they did not have my size in stock anymore so I could only refund them and get my money back. Since this seemed like a warranty issue, I thought I'd call the company and ask if they would warranty it, but to my surprise they do not stand behind their products. Elizabeth, the manager of the customer service department, told me that even though they have the size I needed they would not ship it to me because this was not a warranty item. I would have to go back and deal with the Bay. Not only that, she was quite rude and had the worst speaking tone for a customer service rep, I found her to be poorly trained because she was quite defensive and combative in dealing with me. Please think twice before you purchase something from this company, if they are not willing to warranty a brand new item, in the box, never worn item (with a receipt), how do you think they will help you months from now if you run into a warranty issue? Luckily for me I can just get my money from The Bay and buy from another company, but please be warned that this is not the high-end brand it is marketed as.
I bought a pair of winter boots but unfortunately my feet get wet. I paid quite a lot of money which is not worth it. I think they are not waterproof as the company claims.
Very difficult to get on. Have to be so careful not to break down the counter on the left back heel. The zipper gets caught in all materials surrounding it. Not worth the over $200.00. The reversible cleat are dangerous on anything but ice, they really do not do much to prevent you slipping on ice. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE BOOTS TO ANYONE
I bought a pair of these boots to support Canadian, but also because I require a sturdy and extremely cold resistant boot. I live in a region that gets very cold, and I've been very happy for years in my Sorels. The boots I bought had a claim on them that they were good for -30, waterproof, and had grip. None of the above statements proved to be accurate. Last weekend I was in a rural areas, and four times my feet froze like ice blocks – it was -15 or so with the windchill, nowhere near the temperature they promised I was protected up. Thank God we were near vehicles, because had I gone hiking? I may have lost some toes. The cold didn't gradually happen, it was strange that all of a sudden my feet were ice blocks. I put this on my page and found another woman has experienced the same thing. Same boot brand as well. I want my money back, but their dealer at cross iron mills closed out. I have left them a message but I have not heard back. I lost time that I did not have to lose, I lost money, and this compromised my core temperature so I spent several days cold. Thank God it was only that. To make claims like this and then offer up such an inferior product, when people in most parts of this country deal with extreme weather is absolutely reprehensible to me. I forgot to mention, The boots also have zero grip on ice and let water in. I and both disgusted by this and saddened that I wanted to support a Canadian company and what I got was some thing that felt like it was made my amateurs with cheap materials. I have not heard back from them yet, but we are watching to see what is done.
Although the product is really great. The customer service just sucks. They simply ignore you. Promise a callback - never do. They don't even reply customer's tickets. This is just bad.
Answer: Don't do it! I had a situation last weekend where it was about -15, the boots I bought from them promised up to -30+ protection – had I not been near a vehicle, I could've lost some toes. My feet froze very badly and very quickly. This also happened to a friend of mine who bought the same brand. They are absolute garbage. Get Sorel‘s! I had two pairs of them for many years, and I will be going back to them. They not only have excellent traction on ice, they deliver what they promise.
