Painting not acceptable
I approved the edited photo but the finished painting was no where near up to standard and the workmanship bore no comparison with the sample portraits on their website. After several attempts to put it right the quality did not improve despite the fact that twice I was emailed by them to tell me they had flagged it for quality issues. In the end I cancelled and got my deposit refunded.
They do beautiful work with very talented artist and my husband loved the photo the was created for him. The ordering process was very easy and there was always someone to ask questions and very prompt. I will definitely have more paintings done with this company. I am forever grateful.
We greatly appreciate your positive feedback, Jasmine! We are pleased to hear you've had a wonderful experience and are satisfied with the beautiful artwork.
I loved the painting, Jeff did an incredible job I was lost for words when I seen the finished result and my uncle loved his gift thank you so much!
Thank you, Cesilia! The artist will be happy to hear your kind words.

We are humbled by your amazing review, Debra! It is a pleasure working with you and we look forward to create more gorgeous art-pieces for you in the future.
Our beloved Cooper of 15 years passed away last October. He left a huge whole in our heart. We have many photos and videos of him that we took from the time we brought him home as a puppy. But I wanted something more special that we could actually place in our home. After months of searching for the right people to do it, Paintyourlife.com was selected. The best decision we could have made. The painting is so beautiful. It captures our Cooper at his sweetest and beautiful. The expression on his face is priceless. The painting is so perfect. So beautiful! We have received numerous compliments. It is a wonderful momento of our boy.
Frank, thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt experience. We are glad to hear we were able to meet your expectations with such a memorable and special art-piece.
Paint Your Life helped me to surprise my friend with the best painting ever!
There was a little delay in the delivery so I took off one star.
What a disaster. We decided to gift my son a portrait of his beloved German Shepherd for his birthday. The first artist botched the job terribly. Each revision was worse than the last. So badly they had to assign a new artist and start from scratch. This one was much better and after a few revisions produced an acceptable portrait. However, upon receiving the portrait, there is a blue ink pen line right through the top of the canvas where they were going to crop it. They are now not responding to email after promising and not sending a shipping label to return for repair.
Aside from this issue- artists should be able to produce a realistic rendition of a pet without having to be told that a German Shepherd muzzle isn't square or that a shadow should be removed from an eye. I honestly don't know how people are getting good artwork from this company. We are extremely disappointed. Photo attached- look at that weird muzzle. Absolute rubbish.
Great job on the painting. We r impressed with the accurate depiction of our beloved cousin. Our family will be happy when they see it.
I saw all the positive reviews--so I dove in! I first requested just head/face sketch-no shoulders. I got shoulders. When they asked me for comment, I reiterated "no shoulders", they then had another artist re-sketch it. Didn't care for it. Instead of modifying it, they had ANOTHER artist sketch it... but it came out fantastic! All we wanted was the print, (unframed). Well, it was delivered in a cardboard triangular-shaped tube, on nice stock vellum paper, but all wrinkled. It's not even frameable. Tried to call several times on several occasions--don't even bother because they will never come to the phone, even though they put the number at the bottom of every email. They will always respond, but very generically. After several communications, they are still trying to re-create this sketch when I clearly said that we do not want another one. Finally, they addressed the situation "unfortunately our shipping companies are not as careful as we request them to be." and "we will have another artist sketch for you." What a lame answer! They do not know how to ship artwork professionally? This is their business! What a shame that we have a gorgeous sketch of a baby photo that's wrinkled and they can't even make good on it, well except keep reproducing it with various artists. Very unprofessional.

Answer: They advertise that you can send them photos of people now past. They advertise these large paintings with beautiful frames being unpackaged. It is a lie. I started my order on November 10 and it took three months to complete. First because they would not sell me a large canvas like they show on their website. Secondly because they no longer sell anything except the smallest frames; yet the continue to advertise and list prices as if they do. Multiple email and phone calls resulted in no honesty from these people. If they had just come out and said "We don't sell those sizes of paintings and frames anymore" I could have moved on. After 60 days your money is their money even if you have nothing to show for it. You are expected to know their jobs better than they themselves do and act accordingly. Phone calls are outsourced to a call center out-side of the U.S. The people answering are nice, respectful and do a great job at making think there is no problem. At the end of the phone call, you feel better and NOTHING has changed. I finally received my painting in a tube. I did not get what I paid for and am unable to easily find a company that will frame original artwork for less than a few hundred dollars. I cannot hang my painting; it is in a closet. They advertise large frame and list prices but they do not sell them. You CANNOT buy what they advertise! In fairness the artiest did a wonderful job. It is the lies of the company that prompted me to report them to the BB and every online site I can and will find both private and governmental in nature. Don't let these people steal from you.
Dear Richard, we are very sorry the painting was presented to you in such a poor quality. Therefore, please share your order details with us and our team will reach out to you immediately.
