If I could give them 0 stars I would. They sent two products that didn't work, I asked for a refund and was denied at which point they started abusing me, threatened to call the police, my work and are now threatening legal action - for a £25 lamp. It's been a horrible and stressful experience, this company should be avoided at all costs.
Dreadful company who keep flagging my reviews on trustpilot for being defamatory although they are the ones who have sent me threats and baseless accusations, I have come to the conclusion that they have some warped obsession with me. Other reviews echo my sentiments, similarly a product issue which they took no responsibility for, followed by accusations of abuse. They like to throw around words like 'abusive, defamatory, bullying, ect' when it is them who are all of the aforementioned, and use the 'we are a small business' excuse to behave unscrupulously by issuing threats of contacting employers and police. And yet again, they keep maintaining the same tired baseless story that ive sent them abusive emails when it's not even the same name or email that I use, and im not the only person who theyve done this to. Only thanks to my bank did I get a refund and they won't provide returns address to send back items. They've even been flagged on trustpilot for misusing the reply facility, says it all really. I feel its a moral duty to warn others about this business, its not even about the product its about the abhorrent way they have acted.
They sent me a blush (after saying the package was missing, then "sending" another after 3 weeks) that was not the colour advertised on their website (pics below of what I ordered and what I received) but they state they are the same...they ignored my emails and only responded when I put a review on Truspilot...only to ask me to remove the review to get a refund, when I refused the put my full name on their reply and made up lies about me threatening them and calling them names...this was reported and deleted by TP.then they started emailing me telling me they'd reported me to the Police and my HR department...some little keyboard warrior sending threats, not very professional...and the cost of the item? £5.52...just avoid at all costs
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I had so many issues with my order. I bought a mini micro scooter from Oxygen Boutique for my son's birthday. It said delivery within 24 hours. However, it arrived after 6 days. When I emailed them, I received a reply that some items do not qualify for the 24 hour delivery. When the item arrived my son did not like it and wanted a different one, I tried to return it and my request got rejected on the basis that some items do not qualify for return. However, this is nowhere stipulated in the items description or return policy of the item. I emailed them several times to dispute but nobody replies. They have the worst customer service team, in fact it is non existent and they cannot compare to any other reputable professional company… big red flag.I will be er buy anything from them again.
I ordered a hat for my baby and when it arrived it was too big. I contacted Oxygen Boutique twice regarding this but did not receive a reply. I was conscious of their relatively short return window of 14 days and as such submitted a return request, which was accepted.
Tracking information confirmed they had received the item but I did not hear anything from them, so emailed 5 days later to ask when the return would be processed and received a reply advising it would take 14 working days. This time passed and I received no refund so contacted them again and was advised the return had now been processed but it would take another few days for me to receive the refund.
When I eventually received the refund it was for £1.50 less than the cost of the item. I contacted them raising this and also requesting that shipping be refunded. They replied saying it wouldn't be possible for shipping to be refunded - which I accept - and that the £1.50 was their returns fee. This is mentioned in the "Refund policy" section of the website but was not mentioned in the return confirmation I received or at any point during the purchasing process. They also advised they don't usually accept returns on certain sale items but had in this case.
My dissatisfaction lies mainly in the extremely poor customer service I received - lack of reply when initially contacted, no confirmation the returned item had been received and my refund processed only when chased. When I advised Oxygen boutique I would be submitting a review they replied saying I could have the item back and be charged for it accordingly (I of course declined this given the poor fit) and also wrote that "Any false reviews are taken seriously and we will instruct lawyers to deal with it". This felt unnecessarily combative, verging on threatening. In a subsequent email they said they would "start the process of sending the item back and charging for this if you continue this awful chain of emails and write defamatory reviews". Let me stress here that my emails have been consistently polite, if frustrated.
Secondly, though I understand some retailers do now charge a returns fee I would suggest that it is still an unusual enough policy that improved transparency regarding this and the policy for return of sale items would be beneficial during the purchase process. Over years of online shopping I have never once consulted the refund policy of a website prior to making a purchase and have not been stung by this until now. Without question it should be mentioned on the "Returns" page of Oxygen boutique's website and in their return approval email.
A thoroughly disappointing experience all round, but hopefully this review can assist Oxygen Boutique in making some constructive changes, particularly in their handling of customer complaints.
This company will not give you a refund. Goods arrive damaged or used, then they blame the buyer for damaging goods to get a refund. You write honest reviews on trust pilot then the report you for trying to damage their business. They threaten you to remove your review otherwise they will report you to the police. Please please please do not buy from this company.
I purchased a bracelet which was delivered to the wrong address by Evri. This always happens with Evri so I am used to contacting the retailers so they can help track down my order and get it to me. Oxygen Boutique accused me of lying, said they were going to contact the police, refused to follow up with Evri and won't issue a refund. A series of very rude and horrible emails. The worst customer service I have ever encountered and all because I dared to share my experience on trust pilot. As with the other reviewers who have come to blows with customer service at Oxygen Boutique, I am pursuing my refund through the consumer Ombudsman and Resolver website. Here's hoping!
Ordered a £130 dress which arrived torn to be told it was my fault and they won't refund my money. I am now taking legal action to get my money back. Customer service is absolutely shocking I am surprised they have a business. Check out trustpilot 1 star reviews they say it all a definite pattern with blaming the customer. Buyers please be aware.
