Im enjoying ourtime for those quiet weekends when ive nothing planned with friends or the occasional weeknights after work but unfortunately the dates have dried up. One of my co-workers who is also a single gent in his late 50s has suggested that I try primetimelove.com but havent got around to it yet. Its likely to be my next port of call though as im finding this site isnt quite living up to the early promise it showed for me. Maybe ive already spoken with most of the ladies in my area or maybe im searching wrong, but im definitely not as popular as I was at first. I do like the process though, logging in and checking messages, sending messages, doing searches; the time can just fly past! Definitely recommend online dating for people of my age who find themselves with some free time (and some disposable income of course) but your patience will be tested at times.
Today was the 3rd time I called to have my auto pay refunded. I cancelled back in May. Each time I was reassured that there would be no more charges. The bank has changed my card because it was compromised but Our Time is able to charge! This time, they couldn't even find my account (right, it's cancelled), nor could they find my charge number - yet they charged it on 8/25/17! How is that possible?
I have been on this site for about three weeks and it been nothing, but a disaster. One catfisher right after another. The customer service dept, if there is one, doesn't give a damn about their clients only taking their $! I have been catfished in the three weeks I've been on, about 7 times. I told the last so called customer service guy, that I am taking my complaints about them to our state's attorney general's office. Ladies and gents, stay away from this site or you will be screwed out of just about anything. I would also recommend a BBB complaint as well if possible! No more for me! It is disgusting!
I signed up for this website and canceled it after a month, 4 or 5 months later I realized they were still taking money out of my checking account so I called them. The person who answered the phone said he would make sure it was canceled but they couldn't refund me at all. I asked for a supervisor so he put me on hold then came back a few minutes later and told me they could only give me a refund for one of the months. I told him that wasn't acceptable, I had canceled my membership after using it only one month. He hung up on me and I never got me money back. I believe this site is purposefully trying to scam older people.
I signed up for a free trial. After 2 days I was unhappy and deleted my account. I was not seeing anyone who would be my match. I called customer service to let them know. I was told I was not charged due to it being a free trial. I just got my bank statement and was charged $33.95. When I called customer service I was told that this was not a trial when I signed up. Even though I cancelled my account after 2 days they will not give me a refund. They still made me pay for a months service. What a big scam this site is. I did get two guys that were scammers, that is another reason why I cancelled my account. Reporting this site to the BBB.
I set up a free account and was enticed to join by a large number of fake messages. "Photo likes", flirts or other non-communications are funneled into the INBOX to appear as messages. They are NOT. There was also a solicitation for sex. Really a distasteful site.
I was a member less than an hour before canceling my account. OurTime customer service is directly inline with the rest of their practices. My request for a refund was rejected.
I signed up for ourtime 2-14-2017. I think the site is mass confusion. The company or someone is sending out fake flirts and messages to the members. When a man sends you a message that says like your pic. Then you know its not real. I got 12 or so that said the same thing. Some of the men look like they came from the pages of GQ. They all have wonderful jobs, make lots of money, and will love you till the day you die. If you doubt that they are legit check facebook' If the account has the same picture and has no history its fake. They are out to woo you untill the sun comes up and take all tyour money Its not worth the time even bothering with them just block them. I was immediatly sorry that I joined. You may luck out and meet someone. But be careful
Absolutely the worst! Limited number of members and when I decided not to renew and made a point of setting it up to not auto renew immediately after I signed up, just to protect my card. As the date to renew got close they charged my card anyway! I contacted them and after some begging they refunded the premium amount they had charged. You would think this was the end of it, but then the charge showed up again a week later. I contacted them again and they refused to refund it, saying I already had one refund and they couldn't do it again. I called the credit card company and disputed the charges and also had them blocked so they couldn't charge me again. What a scam!
I joined last night and today I cancelled my one month membership and got my money back... They tried to tell me that the reason I can't connect to their site at times is because of my service provider-Spectrum. I told them they were scamming the public because I had tried other sites and I have no problem connecting anytime of the day from my desktop computer at home. He told me I could go to a local coffee shop and connect to their WiFi-what a joke! The agent I talked with said I will prove to you that its not our sites fault by doing a test with my cell phone. I declined the test and told him he was nuts for wanting to "Prove" it wasn't their fault. Sounds like a scam to me to get customer money.
I have been on the site 2 months. I'm in KC (2.4mil people) but seem to get only a few within 100 miles. I had 1 date. Waited 6 wks for a 2nd till I figured out he didn't have time for a relationship. 5 fakes messaged me (according to the site). A couple love bo.bed me then ghosted. Not impressed!
I've been on the site for 3 months. I've been scammed twice but smart enough to know they were scammers. I called them out and they stopped communicating with me.
Mostly losers and dirty old men on this site.:(
I rarely log on because it's a waste of time.
A total waste of $$$!
This site has got to be a scam! I signed up, had a couple guys IM me, and a couple click pics. NOTHING in 5 days. Worst online dating experience ever. I guess they think if you're over 50 you're stupid... grrrr! But the worst of all, I had my credit card accessed 3 times! Supposed to be $80 US for 6 months, first they charged $115CDN, 5 days later $113 CDN, 2 days later they credited me $108? WOW! I called, got a connection that keep fading in and out with the excuse of 'it's raining hard here'. Yes they will credit me, but can't guarantee it will be the $126CDN they still have. PLUS they have my cc#! DO NOT
So sorry I signed up with this site. And this is only after 5 days. Thank goodness I only paid for one month.
Each time I uploaded a photo and it got approved and placed in my profile, it would DISAPPEAR the very next day. I did this TWICE in 4 days.
And... As a joke I guess, they alerted me that I had messages. When I clicked to read them, there were NONE to be read?
I wouldn't give this site another chance if it were totally free.
Terrible site. When you go to a person you want to message. You get a bunch of windows open. You get a message that someone is interested in you or messaged you or flirted with you. When you open that window, you get "no new messages". Don't waste your money. Big big ripoff. Someone should class action sue this site. Luckily I only paid for one month.
Site is a scam does not let messages connect to other patrons. Blocks messags and tampers with profiles. Has not let any messages with anyone for a week. Contacted customer service several times and no response or anything done. Nobody seems to want to make this site work. Very unreliable very misinformed most definitely is a scam.
Cant log in after paying for a membership. Can't get help. Can't get it fixed. They want to send me to a 3rd party site to PAY for help. Very frustrating. They send me emails and questionnaires about how they did, but won't respond to my comments and pleas. Useless.
Complete and utter waste of time for anybody who is looking for a real relationship, 95% of the people are not real and those who do respond are Scammers! Do not waste your time, money or effot on this web site.
It only took 12 hours to discover this site is horrible, No live customer support. The FAQ page DOES NOT include a link to search for answers to simple questions. I.e. Why does the program inform me that a 4 digit code was sent to my phone when it wasn't? These people are scammers and would like for it's customers to be weary of scammers, but they are the real scammers here. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT throw your money away on this site. THIEVES and they hide behind the technology wall of anominitey!
I was excited about the prospect of joining a dating site geared toward my generation (I am in my early 60's). I thought the men would be more forthcoming and transparent; as we age we learn and show up as we truly are sharing what we can offer in a partnership.
My experience on this site:
**Many fake profiles and scammers. People with multiple profiles; using different names. I uncovered a couple of these right before my eyes!
**Many non-paying members so you cannot get a response unless YOU pay more to allow them to respond.
**Many men who will simply like you based on your photo, and not take the time to read whether or not there is any compatibility.
**Many men in their 60's who have never been married. I'm sorry, but what?! LOL.
**The matches showing up as matches recommended for me do not meet my dating criteria AT ALL.
**I tried contacting customer service and their e-mail is auto-generated (including their responses based on key words used your e-mail outreach). In other words, you are not interacting with a live representative, ever! I know this as in my auto-mated e-mail exchange, it actually took me back to the VERY first response I got from them. We went full circle.
I wanted my money back within the first 2 weeks. Only, there was no way to get your money back.
I'm approaching my 3 months on the site. Nothing came out of it at all. I had more luck in the past on Match.Com (which isn't saying a lot...).
This site sends random multiple flirts to your profile professing to come from people who like your site. Rarely does your "interested" flirt return your message.
Occasionally the profile pic looks 40yrs younger than they claim to be( see attached picture).
Another example: After only two days aquaintance, Annie from Galveston, TX tells me she will be moving to TEXAS soon and wants to know if she can stay with me for free! Really!?! RED FLAG!
These people are preying on senior's loneliness. Please save your money!
I am returning to old-school techniques for meeting new people. I may still get scammed by an insincere lady, but atleast it won't be a computer assaulting me with random false profiles!
Answer: Not sure what you mean by the shaded areas. But never mind, I agree with Alex H, don't get involved with them, they are just after your money. The reply rate is extremely low and the site is full of fake profiles. You will just lose your time with it ( like I did and I regret it). It's important to find a legit site, the site that should suit you best and I found mine: https://j4l.com/402007 It's 100% legit and valid and they don't resort to bots and fakes. I met my girlfriend through them so I know it's a working site!
Answer: They are charging me and I cannot get on this site, I want a refund as I have not been able to use this site,
