The glasses were never shipped - no one replies from the company through email anymore (they only reply in the first two weeks that your order is almost complete but then stops responding)- its been 6 weeks now- was promised 10-12 business days dispatch - It's a fraud company or may be just sends out 10% of the orders they receive to scam majority of people.

Proper scam website

I actually ordered a pair of glasses two months ago and I haven't heard a thing from them - no confirmation, no order update nothing. They still charged me on my credit card the day after I ordered though so that's just fantastic. I don't know what the other reviewers are saying but as far my experience is concerned, I'd say it's a proper scam site. Do not recommend.

Complete Ripoff

Please avoid at all cost. This company does not deliver what they promise. I ordered white prescription sunglasses which came as battleship grey. The frames were damaged and and the bifocal lenses where in crooked. The order was weeks late and their commitment to keep you up to date on the deliver is non-existent. Their website say they offer a complete refund if for any reason you are unhappy, untrue they do not. An agent just informed me that they fact don't even offer white frames yet the website shows just that. No refund, huge hassle. There are so many other great online optical places to deal with so just avoid.

This is a warning... stay away. Why Today is July 10/2021, original order placed April 19th/2021 and am still waiting for prescription sunglasses to arrive. I had ordered two pair, regular and sunglasses. After gunna drum of faults. First - contacted said couldn't read prescription entered on site,(was site Problem, told) - send paper copy to correct this.--- After weeks of waiting and complaining I received both glasses 6 weeks later only to find sunglasses sent without prescription ( just regular), complained sent back and after more phone calls to try and correct this i then receive sunglasses with bi-focals not progressive as ordered and bi-focal not centered correctly, sent back again and now still waiting. Also noted bad review with BBB

Honestly I wish I read the reviews first. These guys are scammers. I've bought on-line before and had no issues with Clearly.ca. Anyone who has given a review with more than 1 star is liar. They don't inform you about your order. The glasses are crap and even worst they never contact you about anything. I would give them less than 1 if I could.

Say NO Canada

I don't know if other countries get better service, but in Canada you can wait a LONG time, not because of the parent company, but because of the horrible distributor they have here. It's obviously a home business that no one is in charge of and should be avoided. Also noticed a HUGE price increase on the lenses, and my frames were nothing worth this type of bad service. There are WAY better sites than this. Good luck.

Avoid at ALL costs
March 16, 2018

Placed an order in January for two pairs of glasses. Credit card debited and told that the glasses would be dispatched with-in 10 days. Three weeks later still not received anything. Several e-mails and phone calls later eventually advised that the glasses were dispatched from Australia. They arrived, both lenses were scratched. Took them to my optician who said to send them back which I did. Still waiting for a refund and NEVER received the second pair of glasses. E-mails have been ignored in regards to the missing pair and the refund so I have asked MasterCard to intervene in the hope that they can get in touch with this 'company' and get a refund.

Possibly the worst service I have ever experience. Ordered on 31 May 2019, still haven't received confirmation when i will even receive my order. I had to follow up just to find out if they received my order and prescription and the order number provided does not work

I did receive my glasses and had problems with them. I contacted customers service and was told to send an e-mail. Since then I have not been able to reach them by phone and the e-mails remain unanswered.

There was no communication from this "company" whatsoever throughout the several weeks while I awaited my glasses. So, despite what their website would have you believe, you will not receive regular order updates. When I finally emailed them and inquired as to whether I would even be receiving my order, I received canned replies (virtually identical responses to those recorded in these reviews and elsewhere), and the promise of a "tracking number" that of course never came. When the glasses finally arrived many, many weeks later, they arrived in a plain FedEx bubble mailer with an inner package that was labelled as shipped from HONG KONG, and not from within CANADA, as the website would also have you believe. Unsurprisingly, the glasses are very disappointing; they sent the wrong style, and they are very, very cheap quality. So much so, that I will not be wearing these in public. You are seriously better off buying drugstore readers (or even Dollar Store glasses - these are that bad). Never again!

Loss of money
January 18, 2020

My glasses have never arrived and store support didn't want to do anything about it. I was waiting 2 month before finally contacting them and all they had to say is that my glasses have arrived and I have to kindly check the mailbox... Very poor customer support and overpriced stock. Never gonna order from them again.

I ordered progressive glasses online through Optically.ca and had to unfortunately return them due to being a wrong prescription verified by my optometrist.
I luckily received my refund of $354.92 after 2 weeks upon their receival of my glasses, however I was told I could not collect my refund of $25.02 for me having to ship the glasses back on my own dollar.
Now, normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, however I specifically asked "how" I return the glasses prior to returning them? "Mike," told me via email, to provide tracking number when sent back to the lab.
One would take this as being reimburse for shipping cost as per the language stated in the email.
When I later inquired about the cost, I was told I would only be receiving dollar amount for purchase of the glasses and not refunded. "Mike" said if I had "asked" for a pre-paid shipping label one would have been provided by optically.ca.
Their business practice, in this regard, was misleading and shady as I have the emails to prove it.
A discussion was had and I was told I would not be receiving $25.02 for the return shipping of a product they incorrectly sent me.
Basically, buyer beware and read the reviews of other before using optically.ca.
I highly doubt anything to come of this.
Avoid the hassle all together as this company uses PayPal as a way of insulation to make it harder to retrieve your money.
I will ever purchase from this company or any of its sister companies again and advise you to do the same!
Good luck and do your homework before you decide to go this route.

Ordered my glasses over a month ago - no idea where they are - emails go unanswered, chats go unanswered, any response to emails is just a canned response by a bot - didn't actually tell me where my glasses are - if they were shipped, when they were shipped, how they were shipped. Website only says "dispatched" which means... what? Never order from here again.

I have a fairly complicated prescription and Optically.ca did a great job. The glasses were exactly as shown on the website and the lenses were just as the optometrist prescribed. I would not hesitate to use them again.
