The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Quick and easy. If i can do this anyone can. Very nice way to get tickets for a different location. Thank you
The process is convenient but until I receive the actual tickets I'm not confident. The tickets don't come until just before the event.
The url looked like it was for my venue. But and no where did the site say it was a ticket exchange. I hope my tickets are valid. I spent double what I would have paid if I would have went to the box office. And Im smarter than this. I ticked off. Ill never recommend this site to anyone. Too expensive.
Glad I was able to get tickets for the Disney on Ice for my grandkids after my son returned from deployment, but it really hurt to see the original extremely low price of the ticket versus the extremely inflated price I had pay, plus the service fee price is outrageous. Felt completely ripped off, especially knowing that the majority of the tickets at regular price had been bought up before others could purchase, just to resell at the inflated price! Especially annoying as it was family/kids event, and most families with children struggle to provide opportunities to attend events for the children, let alone getting ripped off as the only option to purchase a ticket!
The service is okay but I didn't know I was buying my tickets from a second hand.
I paid 422$ for 2 tickets priced at $99.50 + $17.00 printed on the tickets something is wrong!
Nice job I got tickets on here in February to wresting I took my wife to her first event now seven months later I'm taking my son
I understand the changed name, sort of... why not reissue with my name? I DON'T understand the HUGE discrepancy in price of what the seller paid and what I was charged. Why is this allowed? AND the incredible service charge when I downloaded the tickets.
To charge 30%+ for a $72.00 dollar ticket is nothing less than offensive, especially when in today's electronic age selling and e-mailing a ticket can be done in seconds with a few keyboard strokes.
1. I did get me tickets:)
2. Issued to a name I do not recognize:(
So I'm concern it will be a hassle:(
3. Processing Fee is high:(
4. I sent an email, no reply:(
5. Fine print: once you pay for the ticket the Fine Print says this is just a request,
Everything is subject to change :(
Again using Online City Tickets was a Great Experience. Definitely will use them in the future! I'll tell all our friends about our experience using Online City Tickets.
First time we used your service. Great Service! Easy and fast. Thought the service fees were very high for us, as we are retired and live on a fixed income.
I"m grateful that I got tickets to a sold out show, but it's obvious that these guys jump on these tickets and buy a stack of them only to scalp them on here. Tickets were face value of $89.00 and for 2 tickets I made close to $400.00. They said $138.00 but because of all of the fees it really was $183.10 each. Plus I ordered them in July but didn't get them until 2 days before the concert in Sept. Which was nerve racking.
The ordering process was easy. Only problem was I accidentally hit the back button while ordering and when I went to continue the process went up.
The process was quite easy to fill out and I look forward to using this site again if all works out.
My title says it all. The Ultimate Client Experience. All in four words. At the end of the day, it's what counts after every purchase. One is assured to come back.
I found the tickets I wanted at a price I was wanting to pay! Site was very easy to navigate and communication was quick. Only wish is that I could've seen what seat numbers I was buying rather than just the section and aisle. I am attending the show with someone super tall and an aisle seat would've been preferred.
We look at the tickets last week and we were going to pay over $400 for three tickets look at them today and I paid 136 for three tickets great site! Excited to be seeing the Tom Petty concert! Love him!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
