I am in love with this review. I can't wait for potential readers to see it. For someone that this topic isn't their forte to give such a strong review is an honor. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such a great review. I also appreciate you calling out the several errors. I have made a note to correct them in my upcoming revision which I intend to translate to French for the people of Champigny who commemorate the date my father's plane was shot down.

I am very new to the publishing world and can only give 5 stars plus to the professionalism of the Online Book Club. I have had three books submitted for advice and reviews plus recently one that was picked for the Book of the Day. I am very satisfied with the promptness of feedback, emails when I had questions plus the overall experience ( and excitement) of being book of the day!
While I am not a huge fan of historical fiction, I do believe telling its story like this is an excellent way to keep the past alive. It brings a vision for the reader, so they're able to see into the eyes of people from that time. The review is written great and it flows well.
I am very pleased with my reviews. Most are well written and honest. It appears that most have actually read the book, however, I can't tell that they completed the whole book.
Great so far! Unlike some other reviews, I can tell that the reviewers have read the entire book and the format of the reviews.
It was simple to navigate the website. The hardest part was waiting for the reviews but my sister saw them. I was giving the reviewers a few more days. It was a quick process. I'm impressed and recommend online bookclub.

Online Book Club is a frustrating platform for professional writers. Genuine reviewers who spend days reading and crafting thoughtful reviews are unfairly penalized. If you use grammar tools like Grammarly, they label it "AI-written" and block your account. Avoiding grammar checkers also risks getting flagged for "too many mistakes." This platform seems to favor AI users, who often bypass these barriers and cash out, facing no real consequences when blocked. After spending three months writing reviews, they wrongly marked one of mine as AI-written, ignored my appeal, and blocked me. Serious writers, steer clear—it's a scam!
I love this concept. It's a great platform to connect digitally with readers and get my book into their hands.
I've very recently joined OnlineBookClub, and I must say that I'm very much impressed! A great opportunity for reviewers to have a go at their book of choice, while also getting paid for leaving an honest review in return. I just got paid $5 (my first-ever for a book review!) for reading and honestly reviewing, and I'm so happy about it! As a massive bibliophile, reading and reviewing needs no motivation for me, but the idea of getting paid seemed a flase alarm at first. But well, here we are! Can't recommend OnlineBookClub to fellow readers and reviewers enough. Keep up the great work. Cheers!
I may be a writer...but I do not have enough words to describe how great having my book being BOOK OF THE DAY was yesterday!
From responding all day to comments, to watching my book rush to become #1 in two of my catagories, I was riding on a thrill ride all day long! Everything I had been working towards was coming true before my eyes. I spent alot of time crying tears of joy.
I am so very honored that my book got to be BOOK OF THE DAY!
The entire process was simple and so very helpful.

Some quality control issues: "Saron" should be Sharon. Reviewer called the main character a "dumb teenage lady." End of first sentence is unfinished. Line six should read "her father." Would appreciate it if you could fix these errors. And thank you for your review. You were very specific and detailed in your comments and that is always good feedback for a writer.

The OnlineBookClub.org is a great resource for reading books. At times, you are compensated for reading and reviewing. Their staff are friendly and do their best to help you as the reviewer.
And yes, they do pay.

When you pour your heart and soul into writing a book, you hope that you're able to convey your message clearly and succinctly. The reviewer at OnlineBook Club.org delved into my writing full throttle. I KNOW he really read my words and "got it." In fact, he caught a few typos/errors that my highly paid editors missed! WOW!
There's a checks-and-balances system incorporated wherein the reviewer has to write "blurbs" which are provided to the author for authentication. Brilliant idea! I paid for for Clarion and Kirkus reviews which were in my opinion garbage... nitpicking. This company really delivers the goods in a proper manner with emphasis on the things that really matter, and the potential readers benefit directly.
