We booked our flight from Minneapolis, MN to Tampa, FL through Onetravel.com on Spirit Airlines with ease and were satisfied with the cost but once we went to our flight information online we found quite a few additional fees with Spirit and it ended up costing considerably more than we expected. We will probably never pick Spirit again but will book through Onetravel again.

I got a ticket on 30th july 2017, when i check the ticket i made a mistake in 5 min i called to correct the date they couldn't had no other option to cancel the tucket, its just 10 min they charge me $50 for cancellation fee, watch out guys don't be a victim

This is the worst booking agency I have ever used and will never use again. I called in less than 2 minutes after I booked a flight and requested a flight change because my layover was 9hrs. I was told I could not change my ticket without paying another $380... for a ticket I just paid $233 for. So, I call back again a day or so later to see if that was the case. I was offered to have my ticket changed at that time. But then he says that it has been over 24hrs so there was nothing that can be done. So, how in the hell when I called 2 minutes after I booked was told to pay another $380 by one rep, then told by another rep he could have changed it no problem within that 24hr period. You people need to get on the same page.

First of all when I booked the 2 tickets the prices were in Canadian dollars around(650Ca) but after they billed 836CA. Then I said I want to cancel both tickets and they said you can cancel them anytime before the flights and it's 20$ penalties for each ticket. Five days later I called to cancel them because I found cheaper ticket with a shorter travel time and they said it's 20$ penalties if you cancel in 24hours! I book the tickets in February and my flights in april. They saying now penalty fees are 350$ for each ticket. Very bad experience

Terrible Experience
August 9, 2019

Hopefully I can prevent at least one person from booking with OneTravel. I needed to re-arrange business travel, so I had to cancel my flight booked through One Travel. My initial call was less than 24 hours from booking, so the rep informed me that I would be receiving a full refund in 305 days.
3-5 days pass, and I'm still getting emails that I'm on this flight. I call the same number to find out the issue, and the rep informs me that I never called, and that I could only be given 70% back my ticket price. I asked for a supervisor, and he would not allow that. I called back an hour later, the next rep informs me this is an non-refundable ticket and nothing could be done. Again, the attempt to talk to someone above him was denied.

All in all, I went from an easy experience by meeting their cancellation requirements, to a $200.00 loss after 3 separate phone calls.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I booked a flight to Thailand and added extra charge of flight insurance in case of an emergency, and sure enough - had to cancel my flight due to my sister's surprised surgery.
They lied, ignored my insurance, refused to refund the full amount, and let me "hang" with a penalty of almost 40% the flight amount. All correspondence are lengthy full of promises, but false, there is no one in charge. They should be shot down completely. DON'T EVER BOOK A DEAL WITH THEM! They publish good prices - but can't be trusted!

DO NOT USE THIS SITE

You will not save money, and you will not get requested seating. And we are on the overbooked list for 2nd leg, with no seat assignments. Even though we bought seats and picked seats 2 months ago. Not worth any perceived savings

Great experience

My experience with one travel was great I got roundtrip airline tickets for a really great price! I would definatley use one travel again for my vacation booking! It was so eay to do and I find booking trips on line is not only easy but faster and convient! I definitely recommend one travel to all my family and friends! Thanks again Tina Favale

It makes me sick that big businesses like this can manulipulate and steal from people who have their hands tied. Long story short, I changed my ticket dates and I spoke with a rep on the phone and she told me that there wouldn't be a fee to change my ticket I would just have to pay the difference of the ticket and I asked several times and she said the ticket price difference was $235 so I did it but after I got a receipt that the ticket price difference was only $35 and I was charged a $200 fee for changes. I had to call in 3 times and each rep put me on hold for at least 45 minutes and they kept hanging up the phone and then they told me that it didn't matter that they lied to me cause I agreed to pay the $235..

Now, it's not generally easy to book travel in Costa Rica on Sansa Air, one of the two airlines in CR (along with Nature Air) for intercity hops on small propeller planes. But when you book through OneTravel, via a listing on Google flights, and arrive only to be told that the agent "hadn't actually checked to see if seats are available," so that you effectively don't have tickets, it's even worse. The Sansa Air folks were quite helpful and actually got us on alternative flights, albeit 9 hours earlier for our return flight, but this isn't the type of excitement that one needs on a vacation.

In the end, we had a nice trip to Costa Rica in spite of OneTravel, not because of them. I would definitely NOT recommend them for flights within Costa Rica. Have no idea whether they perform better elsewhere.

RUDE
October 10, 2015

I'm a Canadian, I was refused entry into the US and I called them to see if I could get a refund on the ticket. I was told "what do you want us to do, you bought a non-refundable ticket" then hung up the phone on me.

If your not sure if you can get into the US or if you want proper Customer Service do not use this company.

The worst ever
September 28, 2022

I schedule a flight, then they called me offering a premium package if I want to change or cancel my trip, I accepted. Then when I tray to change, they tried to charge me more, I told them that I payed for the premium package, they said no, that is not for that, I canceled my booking and it is not refundable, tried to book another one using the credit for the cancelled one, but this time I cannot change anything, or I have to pay more. I expend almost $us600, for a trip that I could buy for less than $300. Never again with this company.

OneTravel attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

This is resolved customer feels she could spend 300.00 however the fare add collect was much higher for the dates they needed, plus they also had to pay the change fee.
