Looked up my old land line number to see if it was being used yet, I gave it up about 5 years ago. It says my ex who lived in same house for 20 years moved three times, the land line with a so cal area code is now in nor Cal (kind of impossible), and doesn't have any of the current correct information for him. Has two addresses and a cell phone number that are not his. Wouldn't trust this website!
I filled out the opt out form and it says it will take 48 hours. I even have the conformation email from Nuwber. Still, 2 weeks later all of my personal information is still out there. I forwarded them the conformation email they sent and requested removal again. While the link is disengaged, I still come up with all of my information on a Google search. I can't seem to become "removed". This cannot be legal!

As with many complaints above, I came across the same situation. I contacted them to take my information or to opt out. A few weeks later, it pops back on. You then have to sign up numerous account to try to take it off, and still - it's up there, when they promise to take it off. It's a DANGEROUS situation to be in if you have a stalker. If anyone is willing to do a class action lawsuit against these guys, let me know. I have a copy of their emails of them telling me they're going to take it off in a couple of weeks. You don't need to know personal financial information, Address or other details especially if you do it solely to be nosy.
