I was happy with the purchase and happy that the items (seven in my order) were shipped quickly. However, the shipments arrived in four separate deliveries over a period of ten days, some of which were delivered to the wrong address. One of them was addressed to me correctly but was delivered to an address where my son used to live, but sold the house and moved two years ago. Seems FedEx has a glitch. None of this was the fault of NorthlineExpress other than their choice of usually-reliable FedEx.
I was emailed a code for ten dollars off of an order $100+ however; when I tried to apply that code NLE10$ it said it was invalid and would not give me the discount. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Without being able to say how knowledgeable the customer service team is one wsy or the other, I will say they were responsive and helpful. Also, the packages arrived promptly and well protected. Tracking numbers I was not able track with, but shipping via UPS was fast.

I purchased a lifetime fireplace grate for my Fireplace Xtrordinair fireplace (not an insert). The website showed a lifetime warranty, but not for wood stoves, inserts, or outdoors. The manufacturer enclosed a notice that stated the warranty was not valid with wood stoves, inserts, outdoors, or high efficiency fireplaces (like mine). I contacted NorthlineExpress customer service to return the item, and the agent (who never gave me a name) said that I would be responsible for return shipping. The agent was indifferent that their website was less restrictive than the manufacturer, and insisted that my fireplace was an insert, and that return shipping was on me. Next time, I'll buy a similar product from Amazon, where they understand customer service principles.
The website was simple enough to use but it's been over two weeks now and I still haven't received my order. When I called in I was told there was a delay with the supplier. Emails looking for updates are not responded to in a timely manner. The calls are answered right away and there was follow up.

The customer service was good and the shipping was fast. The only reason for 4 stars is because we got an email that looked like spam saying our order would be canceled if we didn't call. There was no indication that it was from Northline Express and we almost deleted it, which would have canceled a time sensitive order.
Initial order was damaged in shipment. Northline immediately ordered a replacement, which I just received in good shape.
